im constructing a mass effect like tree of options if cassian dies & jyn lives

bad ending: jyn flees to maz’s palace, drinks herself into oblivion, and probably suicide bombs a bunch of stormtroopers

neutral ending: jyn completely devotes herself to the rebellion, motivated by guilt for cassian’s death; however, she loses whatever’s left of her morality and personality in the process, becoming little more than another cog in the machine

i really want to talk about zella’s scars, about how they influence her & her perception of herself, both of her self as a physical manifestation, and self as her personality & pride.  how she doesn’t think of herself as a vain person ---- and she really isn’t ---- but how she can’t help but be so thrown off & somewhat broken by her scars, at least initially, & how she doesn’t want to be seen as complaining about her appearance while there’s so much else going on, but i’m afraid that if i delve into that side of her i’ll be accused of being ~too concerned about my ocs looks~ or giving her scars ~just to cause angst~ rather than them being a point of her development
