Listening to an audiobook and simultaneously taking notes. Read this and tell me what you think: . “We compare the new information to what we already know, and if it does not fit those parameters, we either reject or conform it to what we believe. “ . How simple, yet how strikingly true. I do that. More than I want to. Leaning on the pillars of “history” seems logical. Smart. A knee-jerk reaction to push away whatever doesn’t fit seems to be good idea. Is it though? Because staying in this space makes one stuck. There comes a point, sooner or later, when things stop working and everything stops making sense. . And then there is this: . “The truth’ is constantly changing and evolving, mirroring our own evolution as we drop each limiting belief for a new expansive version of who we are.” . True. So very true. This seems to be a no-brainer choice. One of the hardest moments, though, is to make the first step to walk out of what used to be true into a new “true now “. At least, it was for me. But with each step, whenever I broadened my horizons, I inevitably learned something new. Became more accepting. Deepened the understanding of that which was unclear to be before. . Tell me your thoughts. Believes: do they change? Should they change? Is there one truth that is universally right? . A DISASTER IS A DETOUR TO AN UNEXPECTED AND WELCOME OPPORTUNITY When we find ourselves unexpectedly hit by A hold up, a blockage or a loss we can add first feel that this is a disaster, and tend to overreact emotionally believing that at first glance this is a terrible setback or delay . However if we take a moment to breathe and release this habitual reaction we will see that all unexpected events both good and bad are serving us in unexpected ways. The bigger picture of our life is seen from the grander perspective of the BIG U and it is always orchestrating things to serves us on a level beyond our small viewpoint, as quite often we cannot see beyond whats in front of us . What at first glance can seem like bad luck is actually a detour leading to a timely rest , diversion or experience that is needed but not realized . So next time you are are confronted by adversity release the impact of your immediate reaction , surrender the impatience , let go of your control , be willing to shift your agenda and open up to the new opportunity that can arise from it , because it just might prove very magical .
