04x47 - Digging Up The Past
Bob Cryer is in attendance at a local building site as a body has been found in what used to be the back garden of a row of terraces. The foreman wants it moving quickly so he can lay a drain. Bob is using it as an excuse to be away from the station after his son has been accused of death by dangerous driving (see Outmoded)
Ted is wondering where the hell Bob is because he needs to charge Patrick. Mike thinks he should forget Bob and charge the boy but Ted refuses to because Shirley (Bob's wife and Patrick's mum) is there with him on her own. Derek comes down to see if Patrick has been charged yet.
Bob asks for CID to attend and refuses to allow them to continue around the area of the skeleton. The foreman is angry because the company is already on a delay clause and any further problems or delays will cost thousands. "Not my problem." Bob shrugs. They argue about holding up work for a few bones and Bob shouts back that it could be a murder so to give it a rest.
Derek tells Ted to charge Patrick and he refuses to until Bob arrives. They've already been waiting 45 minutes. Derek tells him he purposely arranged Bob's duty so he could be available when Patrick was due in and he obviously doesn't want to be present to see him charged so he orders Ted to charge the boy and let them move on.
Christine and Viv arrive after hearing Bob request CID over the air. Christine tries to encourage him to return to the station to be there as Patrick is charged. He snaps at Viv for moving closer to have a look at the skeleton and - chastened - leaves the scene after telling Viv not to let any female officers - of any rank - near the body. "I've never seen him like that before." Viv tells Christine.

Pete, complete with sunglasses, drives to an underground carpark where Taffy wanted to meet him before shift. He sold him tickets that turned out to be fake as 50 other people had tickets for the same pair of seats. Pete claims innocence.Taffy wants his money back but Pete tells him he'll take him to someone who knows where to find the man who sold him them in the first place before word gets out about him doing two policemen over.
Bob arrives at the station just as Tom finishes charging Patrick. He refuses to take them home and so Tom arranges for a pool car to do so. Derek asks why he won't take them home and Bob responds that he's going back out on the street. Ted doesn't understand. "He's your son, for God's sake!" and Bob shouts at him to leave it alone.
Tumblr media
One of the site workers starts to try fill the area in with a digger. Mike orders him to stop but he ignores him and continues trying to fill it only stopping when Mike opens the door and threatens to arrest him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pete takes Taffy to meet 'Albert', a ticket tout he knows. He mocks Pete for buying from a 'street corner seller' and not himself and Pete says he charges an arm and a leg. Albert has at least four phones in front of him so it must be a profitable business! He takes a call in front of them to arrange Broadway musical tickets for a grand - £2.7K now. Pete tells him he wants a name of his reseller.
Derek asks for an unofficial off the record chat about Patrick. He asks Bob what he can't come to terms with and why he keeps giving his domestic life the cold shoulder. Bob refuses to drop the formalities and remains almost stood to attention throughout. Derek tells him no crime was intended but Bob says that is no comfort to Janice Finch's family and it's still a criminal offence. Bob says he will deal with it but in his own way in his own time. Derek insists the time is right now. Bob won't be moved however and Derek has to tell Shirley that there's no point in prolonging the agony by waiting for Bob, he won't give in. Shirley murmurs, knowing how headstrong her husband is. She tells him he won't even talk about it at home.
Tumblr media
The foreman tries to bribe Mike who won't have any of it. SOCO arrive and it's a friend of Viv's played by Tessa Peake Jones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ted has arranged for an archaeologist from the museum to also go down and have a look at the bones. "Yeah? He can have a look at some of my staff whilst he's there." Frank snarks.
On initial inspection, the SOCO suspects foul play as there's a hole in the skull. The foreman claims it could have been done by the digger. She shakes her head and the foreman walks off, saying he's going to get the site moving one way or the other. Viv and Mike try to hide their smirks, thanking her for playing along to give them time for the professor to arrive and date the bones.
Ted wants taking off the investigation into Patrick Cryer due to being closely involved as Bob's friend but Frank refuses. Pete takes the info on forged tickets up to CID and interrupts them. Before they can turn the printers over, Mike calls and asks for back up from both CID and Uniform as things are turning nasty at the site.
As Uniform arrive, Mike is literally dragging the worker from earlier off the digger before he can get back in and fill in the hole. He's already cuffed one to it and there's a full on riot starting in the mud as it's raining heavily. Mike's designer suit must be loving it! One of the workers goes for Viv with a spade and she ends up falling in a trench only for Ted to literally leap on the mans back!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The work will definitely be delayed now!
Tumblr media
The bones have been dated and are at least 300 years old. It appears Mike spun his line further and upset the line manager by making out it could be at least 2 weeks until they could start work again and he forbade them to remove 2 of their vehicles from the site to another site. That's what kicked everything off. (It's slightly more understandable now as they wouldn't have been paid for not working during that time, especially as the company is already having to pay a penalty for delays which would have increased if at least 2 weeks had had to be added on it. Add in that they likely had London lodgings to pay for as well as food and drink. They didn't know he was bulling them up!) Frank: "You're a berk, Michael." The foreman turns up a little while later and tells them that if they had another completion delay the company would fold and the men would all have been laid off. It's no wonder they were fighting as they were (not that they were right trying to hide the skeleton after calling the police in the first place! But Mike over egged the pudding! I'm really not liking Mike this series) Frank tells the foreman that he'll charge the men with obstruction and then bail them to appear in court in the morning - as long as they all plead guilty - so they can return to work. He reminds them to do as he's told next time the police tell him to down tools. "I'm too soft, y'know that?"
Pete has made 5 phone calls to assorted police speciality departments and none of them are interested in potential ticket fraud. Jim returns and even he isn't interested which leaves Pete and Taffy to do it themselves. They head over in Pete's car. Pete claims that they're only going to 'look' and not take things further. Unless they find a convenient window open so they can get in without having to worry about a search warrant. They manage to get inside and find assorted printing machines and drawers full of faked tickets. The phone rings so Pete answers and doesn't speak - the line goes dead.
Frank reminds Ted to wrap the case on Patrick up nice and tidy so there's no allegation in court that they took it easy on him because he's a policeman's son because it's what Bob would want. Bob comes in at the end and gets the wrong end of the stick and accuses them of talking about him. "I don't talk behind anyone's back." Frank growls, telling Bob some home truths, accusing him of treating his family like something on the bottom of his shoe because he thinks Patrick has let him down. He asks him what is more important, what people think or his family's welfare. Ted tells Bob that he knows Frank is right and suggests he goes home because Patrick and Shirley need his help and support.
Pete searches around for the plates that made the tickets up. In doing so he finds thousands of dollars of counterfeit money... just as the counterfeit currency squad arrive with a warrant and find them with handfuls of the stuff! The US Treasury man tells them they have just blown part 2 of the biggest US/UK counterfeit operation ever mounted and three months surveillance has been wasted.
Tumblr media
Pete and Taffy are told to leg it by the Chief Inspector of the squad before he has chance to think twice because they're not worth the paperwork.
The SOCO and archeologist continue working on the bones and discover that it's a plague pit that has special historical interest and means that there will be an injunction slapped on the building company. "Oh dear." Frank and Ted beam at each other.
Tumblr media
On his second attempt, Bob rings home and speaks to his son, telling him that he wants to have a talk.

I think a suits revival or a spin-off is hoping to be picked up by Netflix. hence, the reunion for Golden globes. Spin-off articles did the rounds a couple of months back and the idea may have been that since the show was suddenly top of the charts on Netflix (which I think was a PR slant, not actual fact) the show runners and Netflix maybe testing waters.
Suits does not, and never did, have a cult following like Grey's anatomy, Friends, Ally McBeal, succession, breaking bad etc. But it is Meghan's only claim to fame. I do think that she believes people only watch the show because of her, and so for Golden globes the suits people tried to capitalize on that. The reunion, by the way, was a bit blah, because the rest of the cast (except Gina) is lacklust outside of the show and individually do not have the charisma or stage presence. They have also not done any work outside of suits since then (except Gina). I suspect Meghan will now be miffed and ghost the show lol.
I'm glad I didn't answer this yesterday when I first saw it, because the background for the main character in Aaron Korsh's (the Suits creator) new show was announced.
Set in a LA firm, Erica is an entertainment lawyer and
"30s, Black, SoCal native, and Harvard law alum. She’s jockeying to be made Head of Entertainment. She’s great at closing clients but struggles elsewhere. Smarter than everyone." (Source)
Sounds a wee bit familiar, right? And guess who's PR has picked it up and is now spamming the internet with "oh my gosh, this sounds just like Meghan and it would be so easy for them to tweak a few details to turn Erica into Rachel Zane."
Also, it's not true that none of the cast has worked since Suits. Patrick Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, Rick Hoffman, Wendell Pierce, and Abigail Spencer all have worked steadily since Suits. Only Gabriel Macht hasn't worked. What might be tripping you up is that only Gina Torres has a network television series (but Wendell Pierce and Abigail Spencer are in new series that are starting shortly - Wendell is in the new Good Wife spinoff but I think it's a recurring character and Abigail is the female lead in the new Jon Cryer/Donald Faison show). The rest of them are working on streaming services and cable. You can check out their IMDBs for specifics.

Guess what? You’ve died. Rumor has it that you were trampled by a pack of buffalos. Gruesome, I know.
You’re in heaven now, gods a nice being doesn’t hate anybody, etc. and they fucking love movies in heaven.
Films to Be Buried With questionnaire:
What was the first-ever film you saw, or remember seeing?
What was the film that scared you the most, and do you like being scared?
What was the film that made you cry the most, and are you a cryer?
What film is TERRIBLE but you love it?
What is the film you once loved but watching it recently you realise it’s terrible?
What is the film that means the most to you, not because of the film itself, but because of the memories, you have of it?
What is the sexiest film?
What’s a film that isn’t probably supposed to be sexy but you found yourself turned on by?
Which film do you most relate to?
Which film is objectively the greatest ever?
Which film is the one you’ve watched the most?
What’s the worst film you’ve ever seen?
What is the film that’s made you laugh out loud the most?
Who do you want to have a movie night with when you get there? (Famous people.)
What was the first-ever film you saw, or remember seeing?
Star Wars 2 (Attack of the Clones) people were dressed up as Jedis at the theater I saw it at, and 4 year old me, was awestruck. There were lightsabers
What was the film that scared you the most, and do you like being scared?
When I was little, I was terrified of “The Dark Crystal” and I still find it scary as an adult, like the scene when they’re beating up the other bird thing, and when the old bird is dying, and the fire, Jesus, I hate it.
What was the film that made you cry the most, and are you a cryer?
Ghost, with Patrick Swayze makes me sob every time I watch it. I’m not a crier, but that movie gets me in every way possible.
What film is TERRIBLE but you love it?
The Frighteners. Objectively, it’s pretty bad, the cgi is bad even if you remember it was the 90s, but I love Michael J Fox, he’s my hero, and I fucking love that movie.
What is the film you once loved but watching it recently you realise it’s terrible?
Not terrible in an objective sense, but the cgi in Toy Story did not hold up and I truly hope they remake it someday with modern animation abilities.
What is the film that means the most to you, not because of the film itself, but because of the memories, you have of it?
Dirty Dancing. When I was little, if I stayed home sick from school, it meant my mom and I watched dirty dancing and ate ice cream.
What is the sexiest film?
Ghost. I’m an artist, so that pottery scene, really gets me going.
What’s a film that isn’t probably supposed to be sexy but you found yourself turned on by?
Jurassic Park, for all the wrong fucking reasons.
Which film do you most relate to?
Midnight in Paris. It’s a shit movie, but it’s Owen Wilson, wandering around Paris and getting to go back in time to meet the great artists, Dali, and Picasso, and it’s just, like everything I wish was true.
Which film is objectively the greatest ever?
Back To The Future. I think it’s flawless, and it gives Spielberg vibes despite being a Zemekis, I fucking love it. Comedic timing is perfect, writing is great, and I think it’s one of the few that stands up without becoming offensive over the years.
Which film is the one you’ve watched the most?
Jurassic Park. It’s my comfort movie to be honest, I love the CGI, and I just think it’s beautiful, and I honestly kind of enjoy the dinosaur violence
What’s the worst film you’ve ever seen?
Napoleon Dynamite. I live in Utah so it’s a big deal here, but I hate it.
What is the film that’s made you laugh out loud the most?
We’re the Millers had me cackling on Sunday actually.
Who do you want to have a movie night with in heaven? (Famous people)
-Michael J Fox (alive currently, but by the time I actually die, I don’t think he will be. Sue me.)
-Freddie Mercury
-Robin Williams

We were watching WarGames (1983) and my daughter said “she [Ally Sheedy] looks like Emma Watson” and like, she’s right.
Tumblr media
So we decided to do a retro HP-fancast. Which eighties actor would play which HP character? Here are our choices:
Harry: Emilio Estevez or Patrick Dempsey OR Corey Haim (lots of different vibes around this character)
Tumblr media
Ron: Molly Ringwald (by far the most difficult character to cast, Ron is Ron, so we genderbent him)
Tumblr media
Draco: James Spader!
Tumblr media
Neville: Alan Ruck
Tumblr media
Ginny: Kerri Green
Tumblr media
Cedric: Michael Schoeffling
Tumblr media
Dobby: Jon Cryer (idk what to tell you she took one look at his picture and dubbed him an elf)
Tumblr media
Snape: Judd Nelson (yeah I know I know, but you gotta admit he’s got the looks down)
Tumblr media
That’s all we got!

05x01 - Getting It Right
Pete is in with the CID lot today for an operation outside the rundown Camfort Hotel. Frank orders them to keep quiet as they gather outside and directs 2 armed officers where to cover the back.
Bob ushers Uniform out of the door and onto the streets, telling them to 'give the public some value for their money'. It's still early, only just gone 6am.
Once Frank is assured - by two radio clicks - that the back exit is secure, the owner guides them up to the room in question.
CAD is slow and no calls are coming in so Tom and his two extra!PC's are bored. Tom tells Bob that CID are out on an raid with Pete as Pete reckons he's got the address of 'that weirdo who has been abducting women at gunpoint' from a snout. Tom remembers that Bob's son, Patrick, is up in court and assures him that he'll be alright. Bob isn't so sure.
The hotel owner lets CID into the room. Frank approaches the bed and wakes the occupant in a rather unique way...!!!
Tumblr media
"POLICE!"
The man is wrestled from the bed and down onto the floor with his arms behind his back. His female companion panics and keeps asking who they are. "You can't do this, this is my room!" Frank barks at the woman to shut up and orders Pete to get the man on his feet. Pete removes a piece of paper from his pocket and looks at it before looking rather ashen at Frank. "... No, Guv."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Looks like there's been a mistake, sir..." Frank sighs, warning Pete that he'll 'see him in a minute'.
Bob rings home and asks to speak to Patrick. Bob's wife, Shirley, tells him that he's not up yet. Bob can't believe it and snarks that she should wake him and 'remind him that he has to be at court over the little matter of death by dangerous driving'. Shirley accuses him of trying to have another row and Bob assures her he isn't. He asks her to make sure that Patrick is in a suit for his appearance.
Outside the hotel room, Pete growls at the hotel owner for telling him that that was the room for the man they are after. The owner points out that everything Pete said fit the description. "You didn't tell me he was a 7ft giant, did you!" The two silent armed officers simply shrug and walk off.
Inside the room Frank apologises again and the man tells him he'll be hearing from his solicitors. "It was a genuine mistake." The man claims he's going to make an official complaint and issue a writ against Frank for damages, assault and unlawful arrest.
Ted asks the owner if any other residents at the hotel match the description. Pete is desperate and asks if anyone else staying has a beard. The owner mentions that his odd-job-man had a beard but shaved it off recently. He says that he doesn't charge him for the room because he does all the odd jobs around the place but his permanent job is a plumber. "He's a strange fellow..." He claims he's moody and he used to be in the army. Ted asks to be shown to his room. They burst inside but it's empty. Pete is adamant that it could be him "You can smell the sweat!" he exclaims as they search for the gun, remembering one of the victims said 'that terrifying stench will stay with [her] for the rest of [her] life.' Ted keeps reminding him to look for the gun whilst he arranges for forensics to visit.
A young girl approaches the front desk and asks for PC Cryer. Robin tells her they don't have one but they do have a Sergeant by that name. She asks to speak to him and he tells her she can if she hurries after the man who has just left - Bob is on his way to support his family through Patrick's court appearance.
"You prat!" Frank snarls at Pete as they leave. Pete protests it was the right hotel but the wrong room. Ted thinks it was good information but Frank scoffs that their suspect walked out dressed as a plumber with a 9mm on him. "I made a boob-" "I've now got a writ slapped on me by some toffee nosed snob spending the night with his bit of rough!" Frank growls before ordering Pete to look for dirt on the man so he can quash the complaint. He reminds Pete that he gave him a 2 week stint in CID because he promised he could bring the goods and so far he hasn't and Frank's neck is on the block.
At Sun Hill, Frank and Ted are extremely confused to hear the sounds of a clarinet coming from CID. Hello Alistair!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alistair confuses Frank for Ted and goes to shake his hand. Frank snarkily corrects him and tells him he's the DI. Ted grins and shakes his hand, introducing himself. Frank tells Alistair he was supposed to arrive last week but Alistair explains he had a weeks leave already booked to play a 'gig in Hamburg'. "I'll give you a gig(!) My office!"
Tumblr media
Pete follows the man from the hotel but his car gives out on him just as he disappears right/ Pete has run out of petrol. 🤦‍♀️
The girl from the station follows Bob on his way home. She manages until they get to a cash and carry where she loses him. Bob appears out of nowhere and confronts her for following him. She tells him she's named Bobbie after him.
Frank growls at Alistair that he has 20 entries in the crime book assigned to him and he wants action on them before he leaves the station - even if it takes him a couple of days. Alistair tells him it's out of the question as he has a practice for the MET band that afternoon because they have a lot of gigs coming up. Frank tells him his resources are already stretched to the limit, he's had to borrow uniform officers and Detectives from other boroughs as it is and he hates 'having to go cap in hand to a Superintendent who hates my guts' to plead for assistance. Alistair tells him it's not his problem but Frank insists it his because he asked for a new Sgt, not a part time copper and he expects him to work his arse off for him.
A court usher ushers Ted into a courtroom as Patrick's case has been moved forward. Noone has told Bob though. He's in a cafe with Bobbie, sure he's alright for time. She was abandoned in a telephone box near the council officers as a newborn and was found by Bob. There was a note taped to her wrist asking whoever found her to look after her. Bob apologises but he can't remember, telling her he's done a lot of things over a lot of years. Bobbie tells him that she heard she wasn't well and that Bob kept returning to see how she was getting on. He slowly starts to remember that it was when he was a PC and that he was asked what his name was. The night she was found it was raining cats and dogs. "I'm glad you weren't christened Fred!"
In CID, Frank continues moaning about Alistair's prior attachment to the band, claiming he's lucky he doesn't play rugby and football for the MET as well as he'd only see him 3 weeks out of 52. "You've made your point... guv." Alistair explains that the MET band is a showpiece and a major part of public relations for the force.
Pete returns to the station and has to tell Frank that he lost the target due to running out of petrol. The car the man was driving is registered to a woman, presumably his wife. Frank growls that he wants to know the man's name and gives Pete an hour. Pete takes to a desk and tries to find out who plays the rates at the address the car is registered under. In the mean time Alistair considers screening some of the cases he'd been assigned to over the phone and Pete warns him not to let Frank hear him say that because he'd do his nut.
Bobbie tells Bob she wants to find her real mother. He tells her to be a good kid and go home to her adoptive parents and he heads off to the court. He arrives to find that the case has been thrown out as the CPS didn't submit the commital paperwork by the date they were supposed to. Bob is flabbergasted, 'Patrick must be guilty!" The father of Patrick's girlfriend who died angrily confronts Bob and reckons that it's a cover up because he's a coppers son.
One of the borrowed CID officers tells Frank there is nothing tangible in the odd job mans room to link him to the crime and SOCO have found nothing either. Frank insists something will turn up - it always does.
Pete finds out that the man from the hotel is a doctor and asks for a list of local doctors. Pete finally locates him - Dr Matthew de Beyfus practicing at the Longley Medical Practice in Holland Park. He's there as they speak. Frank smirks and reckons that the woman he was with that morning is probably a patient of his. Alistair looks uncomfortable as Frank tells Pete to pull strings to find out.
Tumblr media
Bobbie is waiting for Bob as he leaves court. He's in shock about Patrick's case being thrown out. Bob is unusually but understandably dismissiv and tells her to go home to her adopted mother. "Kids are all the same, you don't think of the grief you cause your parents. GO HOME!" he shouts.
Pete swaggers into Frank's office and tells him that the woman from that morning is a patient at the doctors practice "Who's been a naughty little doctor then!" Frank tells him to stay there and not leave the office whilst he goes to speak to the doctor. Pete is clearly impressed and tells Ted and Alistair that he thinks Burnside is a shrewd operator. Ted warns him not to look up to him. "Remember Goebbels! He was a hero worshipper!" warns Alistair.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ted reminds Pete how keen he was to get the lunatic with the gun that morning but now he and Frank are bending the rules to get off a justifiable complaint. Pete insists it's wrong that the doctor is sleeping with one of his patients. Ted just looks flatly at him. "You ever slept with a bird you've nicked?" "... Yeah. But that's different!" "Not if you get nicked it isn't!" Alistair drawls.
Frank goes to speak to the doctor and tells him it won't take long. The doctor allows him two minutes so Frank apologises for the morning again. The doctor tells him he'll hear from his solicitor and asks him to come to the point. Frank accuses him of having an affair with a patient. "Are you blackmailing me inspector?" "I'm offering a trade..." The doctor tells him that the woman he found him in bed with is not a patient of his. She's registered under one of the other doctors at the practice. Frank casually asks if his wife knows about it and the doctor tells him he doubts it because his wife died 9 months ago. The car he was driving was hers but he hasn't yet told the DVLA but guesses that's how Frank found out her name. He tells Frank his time is up and asks him to leave.
In the canteen Bob notices a PC putting a missing poster up. He takes a double take - it's Bobbie.

(drumroll please!) ... ⚡ ‎️‍🌈 80′s actors and actresses who have said gay rights!!  🌠 📺 - molly ringwald has i believe was the grand marshal of a pride parade in la once and supports ally sheedy and her transgender son - ally sheedy has a transgender son who she loves and supports very much  - martin sheen who is emilio estevez and charlie sheens father supports it, and he has even played gay characters, it can be assumed that emilio supports his fathers actions here because he’s said before that he loves to watch him act - ilan mitchell-smith has retweeted this :} he’s also into dnd if that says anything - jon cryer has said trans rights before and says that he supports the gays and people thought he was gay, he’s literally a theatre kid  - matthew broderick supports it, he’s a theatre kid too and he’s played gay roles as well - matt dillon said that he doesn’t put limits on himself and wouldn’t mind “playing gay” sooo.... idk what that’s supposed to mean, but i assume he’s fine with the idea of gays - oh a bonus suggested from a friend, she’s not an actress but cyndi lauper, an 80s musician does in fact support the lgbt+ - patrick swayze played a role in drag back when homosexual men were being stigmatized for the aids crisis, it’s not confirmed from him but :( i think that should be enough to know that he would’ve loved his gay fans <3 - jennifer grey has spoken about playing a bisexual character and that there are “31 flavors of sexuality”, the article i found is titled “nobody puts baby in a corner when it comes to sexuality”  - kevin bacon stated that “wherever you fall, whatever you dig, it’s good.”  if you find anymore please do let me know!! do whatever you can to let every 80s fan who just so happens to be part of the lgbt+ know that they are loved and supported :}

Company was your first musical? COMPANY??!! Listen, I love Company *so much*, but it is not a musical you can really understand until you hit your 30's. I too was sixteen and attempting to sing "Another Hundred People" far too earnestly, and I was 20ish and believing "Marry Me a Little" is a straightforward love song. You need to have watched a bunch of your friends get married and leave you behind and had at least 3 failed relationships before you really can sink your teeth into Company. (Relatedly, you should be banned from performing "The Ladies Who Lunch" until you hit 45. Or are Anna Kendrick in Camp.)
I mean, I guess I should have said Cats, but I fell asleep during it. And I came to musicals late in life (mid-20s) but now I have scads of opinions. The first act of Phantom is the only part that's anywhere near decent, Rent's a sacrosanct fucking MESS that no one will touch but desperately needs half-an-hour trimmed off it, Wicked has two great songs but isn't for me so I'm leaving it alone. Company DIDN'T jibe with me until I turned 29, actually, and I saw that one Fathom Events did with Neil Patrick Harris and Jon Cryer and Stephen Colbert and Craig Bierko and Christina Hendricks and it was fucking tremendous and I loved it to little pieces. But the question was which was the first I heard, and I answered it honestly. :P

Phantom of The Opera
The Phantom of the Opera (Andrew Lloyd Webber) - 25th Anniversary - Live At The Royal Albert Hall - October 2, 2011 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Ramin Karimloo (The Phantom of the Opera), Sierra Boggess (Christine Daaé), Hadley Fraser (Raoul), Wendy Ferguson (Carlotta Giudicelli), Gareth Snook (Monsieur Firmin), Barry James (Monsieur André), Liz Robertson (Madame Giry), Wynne Evans (Ubaldo Piangi), Daisy Maywood (Meg Giry), Nick Holder (Joseph Buquet), Earl Carpenter (Auctioneer), Sergei Polunin (Slave Master) NOTES: Commonly referred to as "Live Stream Version 1" to differentiate from the other cinema live stream video of this production. Typically circulates as a 5.36 GB MKV file with AC3 5.1 audio. Has alternate takes from Live Stream Version 2 and the officially released verson. The first shot in this version is of the orchestra (pictured below). Another note is that Piangi does not hit the note the note in Hannibal ”Your army ha - ha - has come home!" (and the camera is zoomed out more than Version 2, showing Carlotta next to him). You can also see him put his hand on his collar bone near his throat, which he does not do in Version 2.
The Phantom of the Opera (Andrew Lloyd Webber) - Broadway - February 28, 1988 (Highlights) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Michael Crawford (The Phantom of the Opera), Sarah Brightman (Christine Daaé), Steve Barton (Raoul) NOTES: About an hour and a half of the show, missing a bunch of the beginning of act 2, which starts in the middle of Don Juan. Clear video for its age The Phantom of the Opera (Andrew Lloyd Webber) - Broadway - March 2, 2005 FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera), Julie Hanson (u/s Christine Daaé), John Cudia (Raoul) NOTES: Great quality video but the filmer seemed to lack in knowledge of the show so wideshots are more than usual.
