Yuletide 2024 Nominations!

Hello, my dears!

It's the time of year again to nominate the 7KPP characters for Yuletide! For those who are unfamiliar, Yuletide is a yearly fanfiction gift exchange for small fandoms (fewer than 1000 works in English) on AO3, where the fandoms and characters that can be requested are nominated by users. You can find more information about it on the AO3 collection or on their Dreamwidth.

Nominations are currently open, for both fandoms and for characters. 7KPP will definitely be nominated but individual characters to request will also need to be nominated, so we're putting together a list to keep track of which characters have already been nominated, and who we have yet to nominate!

Note that you do not have to participate in the gift exchange itself to nominate, though you do have to have an AO3 account! You also do not have to nominate to participate, so if you're interested in the future, please feel free to hop in and join the fun!

Nominations are open through September 20 at 9 am UTC!

Please reply/reblog this post/message me to let me know who you are nominating and I will update the post accordingly so we can keep as careful track as we can! Also, people who don't have AO3 accounts who want to suggest additional characters to add to the list who I may have forgotten are welcome to!

Day 5:

I’ve worked at the “New and Improved” Freddy Fazbear’s for about a week, and from what I can tell, it couldn’t have a more inaccurate name. The place is filthy! There are moldy cracks in the walls, spiderwebs in the corners, I even saw a rat once. Plus, the entire place is covered in germs! I have to carry around emergency hand sanitizer whenever I go inside!

Thankfully, I don’t always have to go in the building. I’m a security guard, but I guard the outside. My co-worker, Peter, guards the inside. At least he has a room of his own, able to sit back, relax, and watch the cameras. Due to budget cuts, the owner couldn’t afford to put security cameras on the outside. That’s why he needs me.

My job is to walk around outside for a few hours at night to make sure the place doesn’t get broken into. I’ve made a pattern for myself. I take the same path every night, checking every corner of the building and then returning to the front so I can rest before walking around again.

But every night, I hear screaming and cursing, followed by crashing and then more cursing coming from inside. The first time it happened, I thought it was a burglar. I ran inside and flipped on the lights, only to see Peter sitting quietly on the stage. I looked around, but I didn’t see anyone and there were no signs that anything had been broken. I asked him what happened, but he just stared at me for an uncomfortably long amount of time before lighting a cigarette (or was it a whole pack…?) and walking away.

Peter is…strange… I haven’t met him officially, but I’ve crossed paths with him a few times when leaving or entering work. If I’m being honest, he kind of creeps me out. He’s always talking to himself when he thinks no one is listening, and he always looks like he’s never slept a day in his life. Every time I’m around him I feel uneasy.

In this town, people talk. The things I’ve heard about Peter are questionable and honestly, I’d rather not get involved in his life any more than I have to. It’s like we have a silent agreement; I leave him alone and he leaves me alone. We don’t talk to each other unless it’s absolutely necessary.

As first jobs go, this has to be one of the strangest… Sometimes I wish I had never seen that ad in the paper…

I made a character for @peter-gann-the-purple-man aka @gemstoneandtriangle!!! Since I don’t know much about FNAF, I probably won’t do much with her until I learn more. So, for now, she is going to be co-owned by gemstone. I give her permission to use my character for what she wants.

Things to know about Patricia: - 22 years old - hates the nickname “Patty” - has two brothers; one is in law school and the other lives in England - doesn’t know much about Peter; he won’t open up to her - spends her free time trying (and failing) to learn how to dance - often hums songs that no one else knows - is a cat person

She doesn't cause any problems, and she knows when to back off. We don't really see each other much during our shifts, so I can't speak for her. Let's just hope the manager never gets security cameras for the outside, otherwise she'd be out of a job. ((Patricia Falon belongs to @xxlegitcookiezxx))
