Little bit of a "realistic Strider" in the making.. Really, more of a "what if Striders didn't get yeeted by chickens" type of thing, def inspired by @patiusarchivist and their wonderful Mantelope evolutions, cause why not? ^^

Yeah, they got loong feet, flat of course because they're tall as shit and possibly evolved to be endurance runners. Skinny hands too, with an exaggerated middle finger. And their pattern, yes yes yes, I cannot wait to spot them up with it! Looks better than the generic stripes, and more coming.. 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️

A sensation of déjà vu formed in Mandalore’s stomach.

Nearly twenty years earlier, a young Artus Lok had won the inaugural Great Hunt in a display of skill that had earned him the respect of all Mandalorians. Then seven years later, in the wake of the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, Lok, realizing that his peoples’ leader was nothing more than a puppet of the Sith Empire, had challenged the reigning Mandalore to single combat in the fighting pits of Geonosis.

His resounding victory over the warrior thereafter known as Mandalore the Lesser had led to Artus Lok being hailed as leader of all Mandalorians.

Xadya wasn’t raised as a Mandalorian, but she clearly knew his history.

Headcanon Time || Open (forever)

//I finally can come up with something related to this topic because there are so many outcomes and many ways that Frost could redeem herself.

One of those is from this drabble I wrote today right here, even though she keeps some of her organs while being a cyborg, Frost doesn’t depend on them completely in case she ‘dies’ in kombat, since her consciousness is still linked to the motherboards of some computers in the Cyber Lin Kuei Factory, becoming an intangible spirit. You could say she turns into an AI, which is the closest thing she can be, Frost’s soul has total control over the machines from the factory, even when it’s partially in ruins, doesn’t mean she cannot repair them and construct a new body. As she regains some of the human parts after the trial, she gets to regain not also her body but also some mental stability, the good thing is that her cryomancy stays with her. Of course coming back to the temple after years of being gone, betraying an entire clan and Kuai Liang won’t be easy, she’ll have to prove again that is worthy of staying, even if the confidence between both cryomancers is kind of broken.

Another way to redeem her would be from the moment she attacks Hanzo in the reunion, Frost is someone who doesn’t forgive so easily and has this mindset of not letting things go with the time. To help her understand that Hanzo is no longer Scorpion, perhaps Kuai could have explained it to her better, or dive in deeper behind the reasons of those thoughts from her part. Honestly, it would have been interesting to see her in the reunion with Kuai in case Hanzo decided to attack him (obviously, that would never happen because he is a man of honor, and I doubt if it wasn’t for Frost attacking first, he would have never attacked Kuai with no reason whatsoever). To see that a former enemy changed might have been the best for her, demonstrate that people can improve morally.

Kelsa’s eyes fluttered as she felt her cheeks start to burn with a heated blush. But she couldn’t bring herself to pull away. Staring into Teeanah’s eyes, she felt like a bantha caught in headlights, unable to do anything but lean into the touch, swallowing nervously.

I’d do anything for her. Kelsa thought to herself, much to her own embarrassment. Anything at all.

 She desperately tried to bury those feelings.

 Teeanah’s lips turned upward again.

 “I’m so sorry, my dear.” She gently patted Kelsa’s cheek before mercifully withdrawing her hand. “That was cruel of me. You are far too much fun to tease.”

Mourner credit to @patiusarchivist, I just love their idea of mantilopes becoming Mourners despite everything they went through. Can they be scruffy and beardy? No idea. xD
