I was at work folding boxes and suddenly I thought “But what if we drew qunari in burlesque costumes?”

So I rolled a d4 for which one got to suffer my sketches first and I landed on Herah, my Sera romance who I REALLY NEED TO PLAY.

Wanted to do a quick sketchy colors thing of Ruaidhri Lavellan, the middle child of my three Lavellans, artificer rogue, paramour of Dorian Pavus. He wears the vallaslin on June, even though he is a hunter, he specialized in traps and was generally the second handiest elf in the clan, next to their master of crafts. I tried seventeen different hairstyles on him before I settled on this just because it looks nice on him and he likes his hair. Hell, the only Lavellan who keeps their hair short is Mahanon and her just really doesn’t get the other two.

Ruaidhri is a lover of mischief, mayhem, and hugs. Oh, my God, does he love to hug people. There isn’t a single member of the Inquisition inner circle he hasn’t hugged. Solas, Leliana, and Vivienne were a little weird about it and Blackwall was kinda startled but after a few months of randomized hugging, they kinda got used to it.

I got tagged by @rawrzimon and @galadrieljones to share some wips! I have alot of /writing/ in the works, but trust me when I say it's shit. I don't know how to get back into the groove again and it's tearing me apart, Lisa!

Here's some stuff I'm working on, including sketchy sketch.

...recently the third talon, Claudio Valisti, was poisoned and found dead in a pigsty; a humorous discovery as the backtalk against Claudio always revolved around him being particularly fond of…. lovemaking with such creatures. Speculation of his killer still circulate - as well as the ties to the other, vastly ironic murders occurring around town.

Anyways, tried for more... Sensual curvy shapes this time? Everyone has such pretty curvy Lavellans and I love them. Someone give all of them kisses for me.

Putting up sketches because it’s late and I’m tired. I might line and color this one tomorrow while I wait for DnD books and the inevitable embrace of the Void.

Solmera ‘Having-None-Of-Your-Shit-You-Orelesian-Dandy’ Adaar as seen at the peace talks of Halamshiral, taking a breather between chasing dumb looking assassins and rifling through really not well-hidden papers.

She and Vivienne had a brief lesson on how to coldly and confidently shred these chucklefucks on the way to Halamshiral.

Honestly, I have no idea where that blurb came from but I thought of it while I was drawing this. Asha’adahlen Lavellan giving Shaera Lavellan a much-needed hug.

Shaera Lavellan is @elfsplaining ‘s Inquisitor. I hope there’s a resemblance in there somewhere.

Trying slightly sharper curvy shapes, perhaps another time I’ll try really going for the crescent moon shape/feel for Lyna because I saw here/read the description for her and I immediately wanted to do that. For now, I had fun with a more professional look ‘cause I wanted to put her in a coat like that one.

Also, the idea of Solas blushing gives me life for some reason and I think it’s fucking cute.

I actually did a lot of practice before I tried drawing the egg’s face again and I'm pretty sure it helped. I just wanted to draw them being cute and walking together. I might finish this later, I’m not sure.

Also never noticed how tiny Solas’s little ears are in comparison to how long you can actually make elven ears in the game. Little tiny ears.

I may have drawn him too broad but honestly, I don’t know???

Outfit/armor sketch practice for Yara Ethelan Nathari

She usually wears gauntlets I just really didn’t wanna.

Anyways, from left to right:

Nightclothes, with really thick woolly socks because she loves really thick woolly socks.

Casual, walking around in a place where she’s 89% sure she won’t get in a fight that will get her anything worse than a bruise or a cracked rib.

Full armor, she might be a mage but she was a Templar recruit first and she’d been one since she was probably five or six. She uses a spear and shield usually, the spear doubling as a mage’s staff. So, heavy plate armor, her magic typically manifests itself as something oddly like sunlight, or occasionally more natural things, thanks to her training under Keeper Ellas. When added to the Inquisition she adds lessons from Dorian and Solas, but not Vivienne, she’s not fond of Vivienne.

Honestly she just doesn’t use lightning/storm at all because she likes not being cooked in her armor.
