Speaking of monster Cu, isnt there an excerpt from the tain about how one of his battle rages was so bad that his body warped and his organs displaced and he became this big amalgamation of organs and bones and just absolutely annihilated an army? I recall seeing something like that when I was reading up on him, I think.

there sure is! that’s the warp spasm. when he gets pissed (or battle hungry) enough his entire body rearranges into a killing machine and basically the only way to stop him is to wait until he tires out so you can dunk him in water to cool him off. the biggest most violent one was after he fell asleep from exhaustion near the end of the tain bo cuailnge and the boy troops of ulster wanted to save him but they were all killed. when he woke up to see those kids dead cu flipped his shit so hard he spent three days rampaging around the island killing everyone in sight building walls of corpses. it also happened in his fight against ferdiad, as testament to ferdiad’s skill as warrior because even that didn’t give cu the upper hand, and many times in his childhood when he just wanted to flex. when he took his newly obtained weapons and chariot out for a hunt after bullying conchobar into letting him become a warrior he got so into it he came back raging with like a whole pack of game dragging behind him and conchobar sent all the women of the city to flash their tits at him so cu’s teenage hormonal brain short circuited and they managed to catch him in a barrel of water before he leveled the city in his excitement

Ay, so what's the way you create characters in this TM inspired DnD? Do players have to create a servant as well?

It’s a modified version of the Apocalypse system that I put together (that i might wind up sharing, but it’s still in beta, being put together), so character creation was basically picking a class, and what starting skills and stats they wanted in that class. after that, i kept everything pretty vague so they could build exactly the kind of character they want, only giving pointers on how to fit them into the lore of the world.

To answer your question, no, players didn’t create their own servants. We did some brief games before we hit the inevitable Holy Grail War arc, and it’s going to go on for a while after the war concludes so I didn’t want characters to be defined as a Servant and Master duo, since half of that duo would be lost.

I assigned servants based on what I thought would be the best fit for the players, in terms of personality, story, and their own skills. The more combat-focused characters got the 3 knight classes, while the passive, non-combat types got the 4 cavalry classes.

Aside from the obvious (teach, colombus) I definitely want to pummel Fionn into oblivion. I’d also say Ishtar but I don’t wanna hurt Rin. Also Nero depending on my mood

Hey sorry, I never get messages so I didn’t know you sent this the other day.

After opening up so so many cores with Rex and getting nothing I finally got two in a row with Nia - Kora & Godfrey. I got them the other day and then I got one with Rex - Finch. I now also have Boreas & Azami with Nia and Rex has Agate & Dagas (his idle animation is my favourite so far)

I have a mini army of common blades that I refuse to use but now that I have finished chapter 3 and can do the mercenary missions they all get sent off to complete them.
