@petitfarron likes to fantasia, sometimes. He's not as bad as he was when I first met him, but when he's really feeling that lull between patches, he gets fidgety, and then next thing I know he's an elezen for an hour or whatever (he loves elezen, but cannot stand playing them, because he gets the zoomies, but the elezen sprint is ... the elezen sprint).

Why am I bringing this up? Because while most of the stuff he turns into, I ignore, if fantasias happen to be on sale and he turns into specific things, I will join him in his stupidity.

Specific things like a lalafel.

Dusk was so cute. It was rude.

Tiny Dusk and Farron together? Illegal, frankly.

I never did get used to the camera angle or where the pixel within his body that actually counts for getting hit by shit was.

I'm super bored with xiv right now, there's such a lull in things to do between patches and when I get on i either just afk immediately or I pvp until I get mad bc pvp in xiv is god damn terrible lol. I'm hoping on Friday I'll come to like it again but all I'm getting are a few fantasia and outfits for glamour so no, I will probably continue to just afk after showing myself off a bit lol. 4.2 can't come fast enough and I wish patches weren't spaced so far apart

So as I've mentioned in his intro post, Mercuriel seems to really, sincerely resent everyone who talks to him, because he seems to instinctively know every conversation he has leads to him having to do something dangerous. It's not actually true, but it happens often enough I can understand it. But the people he seems to truly go above and beyond in his loathing, are the lalafels.

Tataru is crying, and this is the face he makes. This is almost always the face he makes, when he is being addressed by a lalafel. There's one exception: he seems to like the grandma lalafel in the Studium quests (the smithing ones) a little. He'd probably deny it, though.

Anyway, Mercuriel is, as has been mentioned, married to my husband's character, Vezin:

The truest test of his love happened during a lull between patches. The time my characters' spouses are most likely to chug a fantasia.

So for starters, to state the obvious: they were fucking adorable. And it was very funny to me how well they both translated to their tiny chibi versions.

I also took a bunch of pictures of him by himself, because I couldn't help it. Lalafel Merc was apparently endlessly entertaining to me.

And then I had to make sure of something, and took a little trip into the Unending Journey.

Still hates Tataru. Definitely still Merc.
