Die Busbewegung kam in Form eines Minivans von Golden Expeditions, die uns zum Pastoruri Gletscher auf 5100m bringen sollte. Auf dem Weg gab es ein paar mehr („Puya Raimondii-Pflanzen“) 

oder weniger („blubbernde Schwermetallpfützen, Coca-tee-shop“) 

beeindruckende Zwischenstopps. Die ausführlichen Erklärungen des Guides rauschten in fließendem Spanisch so ziemlich an Didi und Babsi vorbei, machte nix, wir hatten ja Larsi. Die letzten zwei Kilometer zum Gletscher mussten zu Fuß oder zu Pferde zurückgelegt werden, wobei Didi sich Lars’ Veto beugte und nicht den peruanischen Selfie-Stick-Touristinnen aufs Pferd folgte. Gut so, denn eine der jungen Damen wurde ob der Höhe am Gletscher ohnmächtig, wir nicht. Der Weg und der Ausflug zum Gletscher an sich waren insgesamt ein wenig skurril. Man hatte das Gefühl, eine Art gepflasterte Mini-Autobahn langzugehen, um dann sehr deutlicher Zeuge des Klimawandels am fast schon in der Sonne triefenden, per Kordel abgesperrten Gletscher zu werden. Das Licht vor Ort und die Posen aller Touristen (inklusive uns) wirkten irgendwie etwas befremdlich. Auf dem Rückweg zum Bus lernte Babsi die Lektion, dass eine ordentliche Dosis Coca Blätter kauen auch ordentlich treibt und flitzte relativ abrupt auf der Überholspur den Berg runter. Der Abend endet wie jeder in dieser Woche mit guten Gesprächen, dem besonderen Gefühl des Zuhause-Seins im Kreise langjähriger Freunde und dem sanften Schein elektronischer Geräte vor der jeweiligen Nase im jeweiligen Bett.
