Another rant. I'm not gonna apologize.

I think people misinterpret what I say a LOT on the internet. Does this happen for anyone else? I do this bit where I act really intense and wild but I'm just joking. I feel like people don't really get that I'm not that passionate and intense actually. I'm just trying to be funny. Then they get mad. And then I just kind of leave. Also people are just really angry all the time. I think it comes when people don't really think through what they're saying or doing or process anything. Like in short form content like on tiktok. You aren't really thinking too much or processing. And I'm not saying you aren't allowed to give yourself respite from constantly thinking deeply and having meaningful thoughts. You are allowed to scroll tiktok mindlessly but I think before talking to someone else on there you should probably think a little bit more than usual. Like use your brain. And I'm not trying to be rude when I'm saying that either. Just please think it through. "Is this satire? Is this a joke?" If it seems absurd and crazy, it probably is. Though everything online seems so absurd and crazy now so it can be hard to differentiate them all. I think short form content is a big reason everyone is so mean online now. I was watching the yule goat livestream on YouTube because I just found out about it and I thought it was pretty cool. So I started talking in the chat. Just saying 'oh hey just found out about this, pretty cool.'

And people come in talking about conspiracy theories and religion and politics and now I feel like I'm at family thanksgiving and a relative just asked the question that shall not be asked "WHO DID EVEYRONE VOTE FOR??"

Anyways I try to calm the chat down like it's Thanksgiving and I go 'oh hey it's actually pretty cute. Kind of rooting for it to live this year.' and I get called a pagan and a commie? And of course, I am a pagan, but like family thanksgiving, I won't admit that over my dead body. I got really lost in this story but nobody is actually gonna read this shit anyways. So the same guy says 'read your username. lokibestever? Pagan and commie. Those are Norse gods.' That's not even the pantheon I worship but that's besides the point. I shut up and watch the goat while this guy moves on and rants like a lunatic about random conspiracy theories and politics with other people in the chat.

I think people should treat every online interaction with someone they don't agree with like their weird crazy uncle they don't want to be around. Avoid them (block them) and if that isn't possible, just sit on the porch with your cousins (touch grass). You don't agree with someone? That's fine, block them. You don't like them? Block. You don't have to get all angry and heated and generate more hate and anger which gets turned back on you by them. Just block please. The internet doesn't need to be so awful. But don't take this as me saying alt right freakazoids should be let off the hook. Fuck them. I hope they never find peace. But I don't give them any piece of my mind. I block them and read fanfic instead. Because I have better use of my time in writing and reading and art than getting mad on the internet. And maybe that's a little hypocritical that I'm posting this rant. But this rant isn't really angry. I'm just stating my thoughts. But there is no word for a post that's just stating your thoughts. Think piece? Shit, maybe. But that's for more thought out and edited things. Like one grade down from a video essay. This is just a passive rant.

no but more seriously, although we are all (rightfully) hyped for burnout syndrome, I have to say comments like "omg finally offgun are doing something else than lame plots" MUST be pushed against. first of all, cooking crush & the trainee were NOT lame plots! cooking crush is legit the funniest & most wholesome romcom ever, and the trainee had good life lessons & offgun were adorable in it. I get it that more mature shows get more popular, especially one by the director of offgun's most beloved & popular show, and there's also the fact that offgun fans tend to skew slightly older since they've been in the industry for so long. HOWEVER, I NEVER see other ships have their other works discredited like that. lame plots? half of pondphuwin's shows are basic af & no one complains. no one complained about the basic ass geminifourth kieta hatsukoi remake. I'm not seeing people complain about firstkhao's cat for cash after a streak of more mature shows... and btw these are all shows I like/am gonna watch lol so I'm just using these as an example, no hate to these ships. what I mean to say is that these kinds of comments seem unique to offgun bc they come from their fans directly, and I need it to stop. if every offgun show since not me had been more mature, y'all be bored by the time burnout syndrome would've come out. offgun have proved time and time AGAIN that they can play in anything, and their filmography displays their ability to merge into any character & genre. so watch your mouth bc I'll forever be a cooking crush & the trainee defender <3

Can I Talk About How Much I Love Willow Park for a Moment?

I've talked before about how Hunter and Luz are my favorite characters in toh but she's probably my third favorite and sometimes I literally want to worship the ground her little animated boots walk on. For one, she's Asian-coded and plus-sized, which is rare enough (the only other example I can think of is Glimmer from She-ra, who I also love), but she's actually well-written and complex in the way a lot of diverse characters aren't. She's canonically pansexual, which is a community that gets so little representation its heartbreaking. On top of that, she's in a healthy relationship with someone of the opposite gender, which isn't often seen with bi and pan characters. She's an extremely powerful witch but she struggles with self-esteem issues. She's allowed to be stressed and exceed her limits and break down and have emotions. She's strong and independent without putting other people down. She's kind and compassionate without being a pushover. She's reliable and tough but has limits. She's cute and girly but also a little gremlin. She has an absolutely wonderful character arc and helps save the world. I love her so much I can't even express it.

i can't lie, even though it isn't as outright like elsewhere, some of the PJSK fandom even here is oddly passive aggressive and holier-than-thou about their headcanons and interpretations and whatnot to the point where they will accept no other opinion due to believing their's is 100% "right." (despite the fact that there is no right and wrong when it comes to those things.)

heads up, publicly saying stuff like "i think it's really weird when other people think/headcanon/ship [insert something that they don't agree with but isn't even problematic]" serves no purpose other than make people who do think/headcanon/ship that which you personally dislike feel bad and unnecessarily guilty.

it brings absolutely no benefit to you, only making people who dare hold a different opinion to you feel a bit shit just for having the absolute nerve to headcanon something that Their Highness RandomTumblrUser personally doesn't like!!

it's completely alright to have dislikes and things that make you uncomfortable, of course- as long as you phrase it that way. "i personally don't really vibe with [XYZ]" note that this way, you're not, intentionally or unintentionally, putting others down for no reason.

it's when you claim that others are "wrong" for having opinions different to yours is when there's an issue and you're just fucking mean.

also, main-tagging your hate isn't something anyone else wants to see, thank you very much.

90 % of the times their stories are treated like shit and their traits are ignored to prop just corrupted as a character

All of dust's intelligence is ignored in favor of showing him as just crazy

Horror , a genius of a skeleton is depicted as someone who can barely function outside of cooking and playing the big burly caretaker

Hell, even killer is shown just as a comedic killer , fanfics rarely mention his and character relationship amd stage 2 and 3

Love your characters , but love all of them .

A lot of endos are genuinely in very sad situations. Was scrolling endo and radqueer tags with a friend to laugh at them because some of the coined terms get so specific it's funny and we came across a flag for "NEETgenic system." Looked up what NEET means and it's "Not in Education Employment or Training."

That is isolation induced psychosis. Humans are social animals. When we are isolated for too long our brains get sick. That's what happened to this person.

Endos are harmful. Many are wearing disability as a silly costume. But some of them are systems who don't realize they have trauma or are experiencing psychosis and we need to remember that

I'm only posting this because it's something we've seen a lot of people in the anti endo community doing and it needs to be talked about.

Diagnosing endogenic systems with psychosis isn't something that you have the authority to do, nor is it helpful for anyone.

I don't care what your reasoning is or how many connections you're making. Blanket diagnosing even majority of a community like this is not okay even if you have good intentions. By assuming that a large majority of endogenics and the like suffer from psychosis, you are actively harming traumagenic systems who also suffer from psychosis.

This anon isn't meaning it in a negative manner, I'm very aware of that. But even with whatever logic you may put into it, you're attempting to diagnose some random person/people on the internet that you don't know at all. And let's be honest, the whole "endos are just people with psychosis" trend only feeds the stereotype that people who suffer from psychosis are completely 100% delusional and are entirely unable from telling the difference between their delusions and reality 24/7. Which, as you would guess, isn't true.

Can we please stop trying to "one-up" endos while harming an entire community in the process. Please.

I like Killermare but their relationship is hard to establish as romantic. They have a weird relationship that ends in violence. They have a very strong dependency, I would say. There is no love. And if there was, I think it wouldn't change things too much because Nightmare's love can be destructive (remember that post I made about flowers and Nightmare?)

Well, all of Killer's relationships are hard to categorize because he is someone who doesn't feel and I really like his ambiguity towards things haha.

I like to think that the best scenario of this kind of relationship ends with Nightmare abandoning Killer and they never see each other again after that. A last and only, perhaps, demonstration of mercy!

I know how horrible the canon is, but my interpretation deviates a bit from that because I can and like to dig deeper. Although I also know that there are guys who don't like them together and I don't blame them for that. You are all valid!

Chibnall's Master is just a mess of motivations, and it's no surprise that many struggle with this take on the character, but it's frustrating when some get mad about this, insisting that the character isn't badly written, people "just don't understand them" and then rattle off a load of headcanons to explain them that are exclusively things fans made up to fill in the gaps in Chibnall's characterisation.

N a shepherd is basically a farmer lol i just wanted to give them a cool sounding name

I have yet to decide on what crops they'd grow there but so far i decide on 2 animals living there who shepherds will probably be handling
