Not really, because they made it sound like he sucked before… I have asthma and I go running and such… so kids with...

Oh, I'm not saying kids with asthma can't do activities. Quite obviously they can (I can't really say 'we' at 29). When at school I was in the swimming team and netball team and my asthma sucked ass. But, at the same time, I didn't need my inhaler after 30 seconds of walking in the woods - even if it includes a fairly steep incline. 

To me, having to take your inhaler that quickly would suggest that a) at 16 he's not managing his asthma properly (which I can totally relate to. I wasn't brilliant at remembering to take in preventer inhaler every day) and b) his asthma is pretty damn serious and there aren't many schools out there that would allow someone with such bad asthma to participate in a sport like lacrosse.

I also appreciate that I am WAY over-thinking this. Way, way over-thinking this.

I didn't get the impression that Scott sucked at lacrosse purely because of the asthma - I got the idea that his reaction time was a bit slow and that his aim wasn't that brilliant and that wouldn't be much to do with the asthma as, well, him.

I may be biased, but AHS has the best dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, kennel cleaners, staff, volunteers, animal control officers, and whoever else I missed.... it takes a village to save these babies... and it's so obvious we all LOVE it! Because he was benched before he got the bite… siting on a bench really doesnt need an inhaler.

But even before he got the bite Scott still had to try out for the team and I'm assuming he also took part in practices. If he couldn't breath in tryouts or practice, he wouldn't have been on the team.
