Real surprised this fan version of PARTYNAUSEOUS hasn’t found it’s way onto here. I mean, I guess it’s a lil’ old news, but also I’ve been under the impression it’s a fan favorite so...idk. (Also might have to do with the fact that tho the ppl behind it were working on it since 2k15, it was only finally posted last year, so that might have something to do with it... *shrug*)

Anyways, it’s an extended version of the ArtRave instrumental with the ArtRave vocals and with Kendrick’s verses from the demo added in as well. What the song could and should have been. 

And I mean, since we’re all sitting here languishing for Chromatica anyway.

Please enjoy this picture of me lying on the biggest monument in Jakarta, wearing my Born This Way Ball shirt (from the tour of which her sold-out concert in Jakarta had to be canceled due to the threats) in silent protest and listening to PARTYNAUSEOUS (a song she wrote about the incident and her relationship with Indonesia, which was played at her consecutive tour artRave: The ARTPOP Ball). I hope one day Gaga gets to visit this beautiful city without having to worry about people trying to harm her.

Gaga was publicly criticized, called everything from a fraud to an attention seeking whore, her authenticity was questioned on a regular basis, so many people were quick to jump to say “she’s exploiting the gay community” and a song that started off just about herself and her fans and as an answer to interviewers who kept asking her about the way she dressed was over-analysed, critiqued and torn apart. After Jamey Rodemeyer’s suicide she spent time with Harvard experts studying and researching bullying and launched her own youth empowerment foundation named after her album, Born This Way. She has never backed down with the discussion, awareness and support to this day unlike so many other pop stars, even throughout everyone trying to put her down and the Russian government threatening her with imprisonment. During her 2012 tour she faced mobs of religious protesters in countries all over the world and was still defiant and truthful even risking arrest and jail several times yet somehow people still question the credibility and legitimacy of her activism.
