And truly the Nein are unfuckingstoppable, especially level 20, they are a mechanical beast of a party, they are truly the polycule of this fight, as Caleb himself said “Set ‘em up und knock ‘em down” in technically less then 4 turns(if you don’t count the little beau turn before fjord could stop her and talk to them) therefore in less than 24 seconds or a little more than 18 seconds, fighting THE moon’s baddest poly hive mind IN THEIR OWN LAIR, against new types of attacks and spells and abilities they’ve never seen or know of, against lair actions and bunching them in AOE trigonometry bs, their big monk move of turning invisible didn’t help shit, with their wizard and cleric loosing 5+levels of spells each completely, their wizards mirror image not working once so taking all the damage, with one of their clerics not even having their armor equipped half of their fight, their rogue sluggish+exhausted+blinded etc, most of them exhausted, them literally betting against each other during the fight…

Thinking about Grian being forced to fight his partner at the end of season one. Him being devastated, almost unable to do it, even though Scar betrayed him first. "I'm sorry". Him jumping off the cliff himself when it was done. "I don't feel good."

Grian being attacked repeatedly by his closest allies once they turned red in Last Life. Being cornered and nearly trap killed by Mumbo and Tim. Turning on them because they were turning on him first. The way he was so distraught to lose them. "My friend!"

Him killing Bigb inadvertently in Double Life. It wasn't on purpose per say. He wasn't thinking about it, he just wanted to get a kill, he needed to leave his mark on the season, because he was red, and that's what red names do. The way he didn't realize what he'd done until after the fact. "I am such a traitor."

And then finally Limited Life. Grian turning on Scar in the middle of a fight, literally stabbing him in the back in the heat of the finale, and not regretting it. "You gotta go."

yknow whatever happens it's still crazy that despite how incredibly rigged the elections were, despite fidesz scheming and making their own candidate drop out to make extra sure karigeri loses, despite fidesz LITERALLY shipping illegal voters in, despite the insane amount of lying and fraud and corruption in the vote count. karigeri still won. like literally despite all of that. and the only way they can make him lose is to very publicly commit fraud because they know we can't do anything about it. like it all already took so many tricks that now they literally had to abandon all pretense of legitimacy and fully just come out and say yeah, this was fraudulent from the start but somehow you motherfuckers won anyway so we're gonna have to take extra measures. there's something reassuring about just how much this fuckass government has to do to keep people down;;
