Revolution is understood by Maoists today as people’s war. People’s war is the masses’ own war and is led by the communist party, which is the proletariat’s only party. The people’s war must initially destroy the enemy’s power with violence and create a vacuum of power in some areas, and eventually in more and more areas. In this vacuum of power, the proletariat must construct its own power in the form of peoples’ committees, which in the start must be clandestine (secret) and must exercise the proletariat’s state power under development. The new power resolves the problem of the masses by mobilizing the masses themselves and by basing itself on mass organizations that organize the masses, as well as on the armed power of the people’s army that is led directly by the communist party.

That revolution is inevitable is shown by all of history. No classes have voluntarily given up their power. The bourgeoisie in particular has shown that they are willing to do whatever it takes to hold onto their power. They wage wars of extermination, carry out genocides, torture people, persecute and murder, all to protect their power and their profits. This is no different in the imperialist countries, and rather the contrary. Those who wish to see examples of the brutality that the imperialists are willing to unleash on the masses can look at the US and how the Yankee state liquidated Black leaders in the 1960s and 70s. The Norwegian bourgeoisie dropped hundreds of bombs on Libya in 2011—they are willing to take things much further to hold onto their power.

Revolution, i.e. people’s war, is necessary on one side to destroy the enemy’s forces, and on the other side to build up the proletariat’s own power, to seize and defend the political power for the proletariat, and primarily the latter side. This is a universal law that applies for all countries in the world without exception.

Thinking abt Tom and Elia’s first encounter and how damn quickly it escalated into almost-sex..

"….Okay, are any of the dishes not poisoned?! Is there anyone at this feast who did not poison anything?!"

The chairman slammed his hands on the table while his friend next to him learned how to count the amount of halos she'll have. (Hint: Zero; she poisoned the chicken and politely told him ahead of time.) Among his friend, there were  several other esteemed personnel who laid slack on their plates. Their faces in various shades of blue and purple while others twiddle their fingers inconspicuously. Wait, no, the shipper looked absolutely smug as she pushed the taxman out of his chair.

With the thick silence, the chairman pulled himself upright, and sighed in disappointment. He adjusted his glasses and looked at a nearby attendant. Who was also avoiding his gaze.

"I'm going to assume you aren't going to call a doctor?" He sneered with strain in his voice. The vague threat worked as the attendant apologized and rushed off past the double doors. The guards also lacked vigor for the situation too, but there's only so many people the chairman could grill.

"Um, Chairman Matar?" His head swivels to the kind Olivia. The mousy old woman held a hand up gingerly and recoiled it once she had the chairman's attention. "I actually didn't poison any of the food."

The relief of his scowl was instant as he beamed to her.

"My dear Olivia, I knew you wouldn't poison a soul-" "No. I did." She smiled contently. "I poisoned the King directly, actually."

"What."

At that moment, everyone's focus was on the royal family. The King and the young Prince stood still, as if in disbelief. The Prince looked to his father, who kept his eyes wide and breath held.

"Father-?" The young adult asked as he pushed up from his chair. The King kept still. The Prince then gingerly touched the back of his father's chair, and there was a twinge inside of him when the King's back didn't react to his touch.

That twinge turned into a wide smile as the Prince tipped the chair over. The king and the crown unceremoniously crashed into the ground. The Prince let out a high pitch laugh and swiveled his elated gaze back to Olivia. "He's dead!"

The table broke out into a joyous laughter and the chairman lived up to his name by slumping back into his seat. The tyrant King and a few of his cabinet had fallen to their hands. To everyone's individual plans becoming one big mess of a plan!

The chairman held up his glass of wine and boomed over the crowd. "Let us drink this momentous occasion!"

Those gathered around the table cheered and took a healthy gulp of their glasses. Only when the liquid slid down their throats did their minds catch up to them. Everyone looked at the chairman as if he had sentenced them to death. Only to find the same troubled look as he swallowed down his portion of the dark wine.

He cleared his throat a few times and smiled sheepishly, "D-does anyone know if that was poisoned or not?"
