I ran out of space for tags so I'm writing this afterwards, but I have absolutely suspected AI usage in the backgrounds (and even the outfit designs?) for a long time and it makes me feel extremely uneasy, but it's satisfying to see I'm not the only one with these concerns. Generative AI in the art space is absolutely abhorrent so I do hope that my suspicions are unfounded. I won't say with certainly that AI has been used, and I want to make it clear that accusing artists of AI usage can be a slippery slope without evidence and to tread very carefully in most cases, but also wow, I've certainly thought it since release and I feel much less guilty about potentially pointing the finger at a large corporation that's for sure!!

There are just so many odd choices and inconsistencies that I don't think any artist in the position to be working on a game like this would make willingly. If there is Gen AI at play, it is most likely the decision of a higher up to save money and time, and cut corners, so any legitimate artists that are being forced to work within that sphere with the threat of otherwise losing their job have my best wishes.

If anyone is unsure about the damage that Gen AI has caused in many creative spaces, I suggest you do some research! Theres a lot of good video essays and things out there that can explain better than I can <3 <3

I could write an essay about my suspicions but for now ill leave it there lol. Fuck Gen AI. I hope it isnt being used in Live Emotion, Utapri's legacy, and us Princesses and Princes deserve better!

Wiki Update (1/26-2/2)

Finally created the furniture page but there's still things I want to add like adding to the cargo (database) and certain other fields like can this item be placed on others and vice versa. Also finally added in items that I've put off for too long.

Additionally, as I was sorting through backgrounds from stories, I'm sad to say there's a few that has obvious use of AI which is most noticeable in this Gothic Night background (floors, weird blurs, and uneven lines) and a few others that we suspect use it like the Skate Park (background buildings). Otherwise most of the backgrounds do look legit.
