Obsessed with people who are cheap about things that are not that hard to acquire at low prices. Yes we SHOULD be taking tp from work. Nona was right

#recently i didn't want to pay $15 for a nice wall clock so i went to the flea market and got one for $12. yes that $3 is important #buying ketchup for $3? nope. i'll save up ketchup packets every time i go out to eat #buy a new lamp? no i will put christmas lights in a big jar #i save packages other people send me so i can reuse the package and boxes stuff comes in for the next time i move #buy tissue paper/gift bags? no my family will just pass the same ones around over and over #free tupperware with my lunch meat #never underestimate how cheap i will be about household items. we *will* be saving that item. no i don't know when it will come in handy.#i wanna spend my money on things that matter (coffee with sister)#(snack from campus)

thank you :) sorry if i’ve worried you or anything. i just sometimes need to scream into the void of tumblr. it’s just a lot of stress related to school and growing up and my sister having wild mood swings

but, i’ve been putting to work into getting better. i don’t want to wallow in self pity and self hate. i’ve been seeing the school counselor (we’ve met the last three weeks once a week and i’ll see her again in three weeks).

i’ve also treated myself to adventures. two weeks ago i went with my friend to the museum of natural history and we got the best damn pizza we ever had (i am ashamed to say that because the pizza was in nyc and as a jersey native it hurts to know it was not in my own beloved state). it was fun, we rode the train. and this weekend i took my first ever solo trip to dc. i took the train and went to the botanical garden and the museum of the american indian. tomorrow i’m going to the spy museum and the holocaust museum which are the two i’m most excited for. and sunday i’m going to the zoo before going back home. so even though i’ve been stressed i’ve found ways to feel less stressed out and to get myself out of the environment that i feel stressed in.

sorry i kind of rambled. but thank you for worrying about me and checking in. it’s just been a really weird time. but i don’t want you to feel concern about my safety or anything like that. i’m making sure to take care of myself even though it can be hard. but still, thank you anon ❤️❤️
