I’m now teaching myself cello instead of bass since I don’t have access to the bass anymore. It’s going fairly well for the few days I’ve been working on it.

I’m not a singer, but I was in church choir for pretty much my entire life before college. I even had some solos.

I did Econ Bowl last year as a way to decompress after audition season and it turned out I really had a knack for it!

I had pet rabbits before I got my dog.

Back when I was in middle school, I did NaNoWriMo. The challenge was to write 50,000 words of a novel during the month.

Oh wow, two in one go!! I'm more popular than I thought!!! 😊

I - In love? I realize this probably means a person, but right now I'm in love with small comforts. I had a bad day on Thursday, but small comforts (like the bag of chocolate chips I keep in my backpack and the fact that my brother bought me two boxes of peppermint tea today after I used my last one on Thursday and forgot the tea at home) are what kept me trying to stay optimistic throughout the day. And then I let myself fall asleep as soon as I got home, and every time I woke up I went right back to sleep. In short, I've fallen in love with allowing myself small bits of selfishness every day.

K - Known as? Oh lord, what aren't I known as at this point? Shamada, Shameeda, Shamooda, Shamelda, ShamBam, Shamarshmallow, Mother... My favorite, however, is Shmeeds, as bestowed on me by my best friend.

G - Good at? Rambling, winning people over with my seemingly unending stash of snacks, writing essays (for cash, lately), and being a gullible pushover for people I consider friends even if they never text me unless I either text first or they need a favor.

I haven’t, but sounds like my type of thing! There was a time in my life where I was known for being overly sarcastic and making puns.

Not that this is at all related, but one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever done was to go through a grocery store with someone and make puns about everything we saw. A wordplay battle of sorts.

Probably when I leave to go into the city alone and I’m wearing something cute I just feel really independent then and in turn, confident

violin: what’s your go-to plan for when you’re sad?

At a certain level of sadness, my go to would be putting on my “Hadestown beats” playlist (the upbeat songs). If I can, I’ll sing and “dance” to it. I also read nice message and asks on here ☺️. If it’s too much though, I just wait for the end of the day and go to sleep, hoping it’ll be better when I wake up.

trumpet: how far are you from the place you most want to be?

Considering I don’t know exactly what that is, I’m not sure. I’m “knowing where I want to be” far away, because as soon as I figure it out, I’ll know how to get there. I just have to decide what I want.

flute: earliest memory?

I was maybe three, and my preschool teacher was showing me how to do a new craft because I’d already finished the assignment everyone was working on. It was a snowman ornament made of popsicle sticks. That’s so specific 😂

Once when I was really, really young. We don't get a lot of snow where I live. Put it this way, we had a snow storm for the first time in 25 years last year and it absolutely shut down my town, we didn't have electricity for four days.
