Smudge!

Smudge is Prince of the carnivores, xeir life didnt start out as royalty though.

Smudges parents, Raj and Nala were in poverty. No matter what though Raj would always bring home Smudge and xeir siblings (Makucha, Astras, and Sierra) little treats or toys. It wasnt until 10 years later when sickness hit Draunids, hard. It wiped out the previous carnivore line, and as the sickness passed they needed someone to now lead.

Halaki, a well-known advisor for the previous rulers stood up to the challenge. However at the crowning ceremony, instead of the crown accepting him, it smited him. After the horrific act from the god, Aadya, they knew a surviving family member close enough to the original line still existed.

After searching through family records it turns out that Rajs father, Raki was the son of the 2nd old king (help idk how to explain this). Raj ended up accepting the crown, him and his family were welcomed to the Palace with open arms from King Bobo of the omnivores. Bobo assisted Raj in learning the ways of law, and became a close friend to him.

Xey also gained a fascination of Pangers. After begging xeir father for one Raj agreed, and xey got to raise an orphaned Pango who xey named Orion after Astras suggestion. Smudge though was curious, and started to explore in places xey shouldn’t have. After snooping through Bobos room, xey learned about the photovore farms. Before xey could escape though, Bobo returned. Bobo finally dropped the nice guy act, threatening Smudge if xey dared to tell anyone.

Smudge agreed, and ran off. However, after a while, xey told xeir father about the farms. Raj shrugged xem off, not believing that his friend could do such things. 2 years later though Raj discovered Keiko, a smilodon-snow leopard hybrid which had been created by science. Keiko was being treated horribly by Bobo though, so Raj used his power to adopt the kid to save her from experiments and further abuse.

Keiko and Smudge became best friends very quickly, getting into trouble often. At 15 Keiko became incredibly ill. Complications from being a hybrid resurrected with ancient dna. After her passing Smudge got into trouble less and less. 2 years later Oberon appeared in the palace, Smudge had a feeling about him but couldn’t pinpoint what that feeling was.

Though xey quickly found out. One night during a party Smudge was hanging out with a bunch of servants, not feeling like being all fancy and proper to hang out with everyone else when xey noticed Oberon pouring something into a drink. The night had started to die down, and Smudge finally left to go to xeir room.

Outside of the servants quarters, xey noticed Oberon chatting up Nala, then offering her a drink. The thought of what Oberon had previously done earlier in the night came through xeir mind, however before xey could say anything, Nala had already drank the liquid. It didn't take long for her to hit the floor, nor much longer for her to pass. Smudge sat beside her body until Bobo appeared, convincing xem that it was all xeir fault, xey snuck off into the stables, grabbed xeir Panger, and fled.

After xey fled, Bobo convinced Raj that Smudge had killed her, and after that Smudge became an outlaw. Years later xey realized that it wasn't xeir fault, and now xey seek to capture Oberon and get the truth out and make sure he doesn't harm any one else xey care about.
