how do you do your panellining? it looks so good on your nu gundam pics and it always turns out a bit of a mess when i do it 😭

i just recently started doing this technique, myself, but what i do, and it takes a moment, depending on the piece.

what you wanna get is some Panel Liner. While markers do exist, i like this cuz it runs so easily, esp if you use gravity to your advantage, and poke an area, of your choosing. If you need more, keep the brush tip applied, but use a lil bit of a plunging motion to goad more out of it. :> (you may also need to thin it with lighter fluid if you leave it out by mistake, like i have)

AFTERWARDS, and letting it dry the appropriate time (i give it like half an hour to 2, but 48 is reccommended if you want it to STICK) youre going to want to get the appropriate sized cottonswab. i have everything from regular, to tiny, to large. Dip the tip into the paint thinner or iso-alcohol, and gently swab back and forth to clean up the applied areas :3 in FACT, im gonna be goin back to my other RG's ive built over the years and gonna do this to them. If Diego was going to get comfortable, who was Volt to not do the same? Mismatched arms slipped over the slender shoulders and came to rest on his partner’s back, closing the space between them even more as his chin came to rest on their head. Being so close to his chest meant that the barely contained rumble in it could be heard, only just overtaken by the sound of his beating heart.

One arm had wrapped itself to set a hand on the opposite shoulder it was over while the other carefully combed Di’s hair affectionately. Volt would have been more than comfortable just as they were for the rest of the night. Although another part of him wanted another round of cuddling on the couch as they had the other day.

So that was the driving force on him loosening his grip ever so slightly so he could bring them back into the living room. The tea his partner had been drinking was forgotten as he brought them over to the couch.

“A lot o’ my scars are sensitive…” He admitted while sitting down in a way that was an open invitation to lay against him and enjoy that downy soft chest fur some more. “There’s a lot o’ ‘em but I don’t mind ‘em being touched if ya find ‘em under my fur. Only one I recommend avoiding is my shoulder. Just so ya don’t pinch a finger in the panellin’ there.”

A small pause to go with his smile. “Otherwise, I’m all yours.”

A light laugh left Di at the thought of 'hybrid putty'. "I dunno, it's a tempting thought." Half a joke, half genuine curiosity, but he still kept his hands to himself. Well, outside of cautiously testing the waters by wrapping his arms loosely around Volt's torso. Even rests his cheek on the hybrid's chest for good measure.

Jeez...when was the last time he was held like this?

At the question, he shakes his head. "No, not all raised voices. I'm fine around generally positive loud noise. If I end up overstimulated, I have earbuds and stuff." He relaxes against the other, starting to lean heavier on him and his warmth. His ears fall lax, cheek squishing further against him. "It's mostly like...angry stuff. Not a fan of feeling like I'm in trouble."

'Trouble' was a tame way of putting it, but that was neither here nor there. Instead, Diego lets his eyes close, deciding to focus more on the occasional brush against his tail. He shyly returns the gesture but doesn't mention it.

The warmth in his cheeks was not gonna go anywhere anytime soon he realizes, as he fidgets in Volt's embrace. "Uh...not that I can think of..?" Which was true. He wasn't exactly sure where any 'hot spots' were on him besides his tail. No one bothered to explore that with him.

Got lazy and skipped the huge arms of the #Dantalion from #ironbloodedorphans , but I wasn't very keen on them to begin with. I love the unique design of this suit and am very happy with having had the opportunity to add it to my collection. this is the kinda panellin kurokos basket badly misses- theres very few fullbody shots in kuroko (so far) to start with and the sense of HEIGHT is never felt. kagami apparently jumps pretty high but there have been no shots showing u how high off the ground he gets (so far) with the floor in view! and the manga only suffers even more from this flaw in light of how GOOD slam dunk is at this stuff in comparison. sad!

this is a very good use of floor reflection to give a sense of depth. dont have much to comment just wanted to highlight it it makes the panel EXTREMELY readable

i also like how the pattern on the floor fades away at the top/in the distance due to the light reflection as well it also keeps the panel more readable (because less crowded)

and the movement of the ball is extremely clear despite 0 motion lines which only makes the pass feel even smoother and immediate
