the fucking idea of "Palywood" is so fucking disgusting. How cruel do you have to be? How uncaring do you have to be to see people suffering, losing their loved ones, their home, their limbs, and respond to it by saying they're just paid actors? And bad ones at that?

Palywood is a conspiracy theory on par with the nazi conspiracy theory that jews control everything. Similar motivations and similar end goals. Genocide denialism is one of the greatest evils on this earth, right under committing genocide. Right under that is asserting a population of people wholesale thinks it right to commit mass rape and kidnapping, which is the same rhetoric you see constantly spouted by neo-nazis from canada to hungary. Zionists, in their apparent efforts to snag as much from nazi ideology as they can, call those of jewish faith and heritage who oppose their reactionary ideology "fake jews" "self hating jews" and the like. This is not meaningfully different from neo(nazis) calling anti-facist white people race traitors. I am not talking about soley those colaberationists within germany and its subjects, im also talking about those outside, some within palestine who collaberated with other zionist groups to massacre palestinians. Israel targets the material culture of palestine and its people with destruction. It does not exist to protect jewish people. it should be destroyed.

I think Israel shouldn't have its own military as they are both ineffective at conflict resolution and that they boost far right views within Israel.

If pro-Palestinian blogs posted unbiased accounts rather than productions from 'palywood', and actually background, and accurately represented events in Israel instead of twisting them, that would be absolutely fantastic.

Just as a btw, this very well could be real photo. Those bucket hats are commonly used, and the color is probably due to it being quote old. The mismatched uniform is actual a common sweater, and in this type of uniform (service uniforms made of cotton designed for work and comfort during longer stays in the field as apposed to dress uniforms) do not display insignia. And finally not all IDF units carry Tavor rifles.

What is missing here is context. We do not know why this lady is detained. Arrests such as these are commonplace and can very well be someone who entered Israeli territory outside of proper procedure or other worse things. If we want to fight misinformation from the palywood types, we need to fight honestly and be informed.
