Expats
Gabriel was quite a freeloader. Of course he didn't come to Dubai as an expat because he was stupid or lazy. But he also knew pretty well that he would have had a much harder time in France affording the life he could afford here. Life in Dubai was luxury, pure luxury. He had a cool house with a pool, a gardener, a housekeeper and a chauffeur, and he earned a huge amount of money. He didn't necessarily work nine to five, but he didn't necessarily work himself to death either. In short, for him, life here was pure paradise!
Gabriel had heard the news that the climate had turned a little against the privileges of expats. But he wasn't interested in it. He would do his job here, he was saving a lot of money, which was safely invested in Switzerland, if necessary, he would be on the plane back to Paris tomorrow and look for a job in Riyadh or Kuwait. The United Arab Emirates were not the only place on this planet where he could make money. And besides, he didn't really care about it today. It was Saturday. Tomorrow he would have to sit in the office again, today he wanted to work out at the gym and then hang out with a few friends at the beach club for the rest of the day. A few cocktails, lobster for dinner and then to bed. The only problem was: his driver had the day off. And even though Gabriel had been living in Dubai for several years, he couldn't drive a car himself! He had forgotten how. That's why there were drivers. So he ordered a taxi.
The porter at his community had announced the driver. Gabriel took his sports bag. A quick check in the mirror: yes, he looked good. He opened the door. The brand new Toyota taxi was parked in front of the door. The driver got out and asked in English if Gabriel wanted to put the sports bag in the boot. Gabriel barely looked up from his phone and just shook his head. He didn't feel like having any more contact with the driver than absolutely necessary. The driver opened the back door for him, Gabriel got in, repeated his destination once more and continued playing with his cell phone. The driver remained quiet at first. But then he started talking. First in English. About the weather, about football, where Gabriel came from, whether he liked Dubai. Gabriel simply didn't react. The driver just kept talking. That he had fled from Syria. That he had been in Dubai for four years. That he had two children. He showed Gabriel pictures in his wallet. His English became more and more incomprehensible. A mixture of English and Arabic. Gabriel continued to pretend to be deaf. The driver kept talking. In Arabic. He was ranting about the expats. About the arrogance of the infidels, who thought they were better than everyone else, even though they were dependent on the mercy of Allah, who had given the Muslims oil.
Gabriel was annoyed. He wanted to work on a few e-mails and not talk about politics. What did he care about politics? So he snapped at the driver, "Rakkiz 'ala al-siyaqa, ana mashghul!" The driver smiled. He looked in the rear-view mirror. God's plan was working.
The taxi driver's language began to change again. Arabic with a French accent. Gabriel sat in the back on the worn imitation leather seats of the old taxi. In the front, Ayoub couldn't stop getting worked up about the last few games of Olympic Marseille. Djibril grinned. He knew the feeling. When Ayoub was in a rage, he was in a rage. Fortunately, they were almost at the wholesale market, then his brother would let him out. Ayoub would drive his shift to an end. And Djibril would see what kind of job he could get. He and his pals ironically called themselves the expats. It was true in a way⌠His brother and he had immigrated from Morocco ten years ago. They had family in Marseille. Djibril had really tried hard at school, but at some point he stopped going and started working as a day laborer at the wholesale market. He was doing well. By now, Djibril had his network, he knew his way around. And he was strong and fast. He saved what he earned. He was proud of his brother Ayoub, who made it to get a taxi license and his own taxi, which was also Djibril's goal.
He checked his messages. It was still dawn. Ayoub was on his way to the banlieue to sleep. It was good when he drove the night shift, then he and Djibril didn't have to share the small bedroom. So far, no one had contacted him to request Djibril's services. If necessary, he could help out in his aunt's cafĂŠ in the kitchen. There was no money for that, though. But a cafĂŠ and a lunch. Life as an expat wasn't so bad.

âI said Iâm fine, Alice,â Daniel snaps, and time itself grinds to a halt. Not literally. Ha. The things you have to specify with vampires. Itâs not how Daniel expected to find him. Ever, really. Even at his lowest, shaken up by Danielâs little coup d'etat in Dubai, heâd been panicked but somewhat put together, at least compared to this. This is gone off the rails right off the deep end. Did anyone actually arrest him, or did he break in for this little tableau? How dramatic do you have to be? âHey, câmon.â Daniel says, snapping his fingers. âLetâs go, pal. Iâm busting you out of here.â

â ď¸ Warning for much rambling ahead lol â ď¸
Two things that I'm wondering after today's racing:
Does Kenny McPeek regret not running Thorpedo Anna in the Belmont?
We know that he's been bullish about her, and I was prepared to hand her massive credit after the Oaks but honestly? I think the Acorn was an even better performance. Mystik Dan's race was bad enough that I'm basically throwing it out, like I said right after I don't know if it's just that Arkansas Derby - Kentucky Derby - Preakness - Belmont just got to be too much...he already skipped the Rebel so as to avoid racing too much, too close together. Seize the Grey was the only other one to come in off that tight a schedule and he completely fell apart after being a part of the pace. But Thorpedo Anna would've come in off of 5weeks off, same as Dornoch, Sierra Leone and Honor Marie. We're expecting her to run in the Alabama so ten furlongs doesn't seem to concern anyone
2. Any chance of Cogburn trying to ship to Europe?
I feel like I read after the last win by Cogburn on Derby day that that race might be some kind of in to the race at Royal Ascot....any regret on them staying here for this? Taking the Caravel route, so to speak. As far as I know Asmussen's never sent a horse to Europe although there was talk a zillion years ago that Curlin might have gone to the Arc if he had won the Man o'War....and considering he ran worse over the synthetic at Santa Anita it might've been an interesting experiment if not for Red Rocks. Of course, Cogburn's a different animal that we know likes the grass (like, so much lol). So I doubt it, but it's fun to wonder. I'm pretty out of the loop with the racing abroad this year so I don't know who he'd be up against either. I was impressed with California Spangled in Dubai but have no clue where he is now/pointing at next/etc. And certainly it's not a given that our best turf sprinters can compete over there....look at Golden Pal
Okay, I've rambled enough.

A primary school lesson plan is utilized to help teachers plan their objectives, that they list in a useful document. Different formats can be accustomed to develop a primary school plan, according to precisely what is most ideal to the teacher who will apply it. A primary school lesson plan really should not be to much time and it should be simple to use. An effective primary school lesson plan requires objectives that are well defined along with ample information regarding the training equipment and material which will be required for teaching to take place.
RCM primary school, Yabo is the only academic learning centre located in Mbagba Council ward of Mbasombo District, in Gwer-East Local Government Area of Benue State. The school was established over 4 decades ago through the Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) within the tactic to spread the gospel along with educate the followers from the Christian religion, that had been majorly the neighborhood populace in the area. Due to frequent alteration of educational policies in Benue state, the institution was latter taken-over by Gwer-East Local Government Authority as directed through the state government. This was within the 1980s and also, since then, the primary school remained a permanent academic centre within the training of pupils for that near-by secondary schools. Due to the pressures of contemporary living, the younger kids are left without care in most cases. For many parents, the advent of preprimary and play schools is considered as a welcome step. Thus, children could possibly get the opportunity of sticking with other children of what their ages are a real school and spend several hours in the midst of trained teachers and also other personnel. Thus, they can enjoy playing and learn at the same time. This is exactly the thought of this kind of school. A few days ago a mother in Sydney witnessed an automobile crush the skull of her kindergarten child, a a few years old son, whom she then locked in her arms as his blood soaked her clothes. But that is merely the oncoming of precisely what is into the future because each year generally there is one tragedy after another and families everywhere are hurt by them.
Any young art lovers taking part in primary school trips is going to be impressed by Barcelona, where even the streets shine with artistic vibrancy - and that is before visiting some of the galleries. There's plenty to select from, but one firm favourite among school groups may be the Museu Picasso. It is home to one of many world's most extensive collections of works by Pablo Picasso - over 3,500 paintings, drawings, engravings and ceramics - in addition to being the foremost and oldest museum dedicated to the artist. Here, students is going british school Dubai to be able to discover a number of Picasso's most well-known artworks as well as many lesser-known pieces, and understand how the location of Barcelona shaped his work - a useful type of the way in which artists are attached to the world they operate in. Housed in five 13th to 14th century palaces, the museum is also a wonderful space to understand more about, and might inspire your students to have sketching!

Beyond the Coming Age of Networked MatterBy Bruce Sterling
I wasnât too chuffed about the weird changes I saw in my favorite start-up guy. Crawferd was a techie I knew from my circuit: GE Industrial Internet, IBM Smart Cities, the Internet-of-Things in Hackney hackathons. The kind of guy I thought I understood.
I relied on Crawferd to deliver an out-there networked-matter pitch to my potential investors. He was great at this, since he was imaginative, inventive, fearless, tireless, and he had no formal education. Crawferd wore unlaced Converse shoes and a lot of Armani. He had all the bumbling sincerity of a Twitter Arab Spring.
Crawferd could see no difference between physics and metaphysics. The way he had it figured, all matter was code. If you suggested that his trippy hacker mysticism was not entirely plausibleâthat rocks were rocks and trees were trees, they werenât ânetworksââ heâd brood at length, then chase you from the hackerspace, slam the door, and blog compulsively.
Given his deep unworldliness and his intense interior life, Crawferd was a pretty easy guy for me to manage. We got along okay, while Sophia and Fatima totally loved Crawferd. S&F were my two wealthy oil widows from Dubai. Their Gulf State pin money had to go somewhere that wasnât Cyprus or Bitcoins.
So for a while things were cozy. Iâd arrange funding brunches in Gstaad, where Fatima and Sophia went skiing. Iâd wheel in Mr. California Ideology while they had their mint tea and shared the hookah. The sparks would fly.
Crawferd was cool about Sophia and Fatima. He never asked them for much, and he always brought them nifty digital fitness toys. All tech chicks kind of dug Crawferd. He had this spooky geek tenderness, a possibly sensual, my bits-might-turn-to-atoms thing going on.
So S&F hung on his every word, but the truth was, the guy simply didnât know how to cash in. He was all sci-fi and no megacorp.
Then he missed a couple of gigs and he stopped updating on LinkedIn. I was busy helping Microsoft waste some Kinect money, so I didnât bother him.
Then I breezed through Palo Alto and he spotted me on Foursquare. He shot me a mysterious, incoherent SMS full of sick Tweet orthographics. âW3 sh4ll overl4p time, space, and dimensions,
and with0ut bodily motion, peer to the .â
I got rid of that thing pronto. I always erase after reading, my lawyer taught me that. But seeing his freaked message, I took good care to meet him F2F.
Crawferd was lurking and had gone very downside-scenario. He had tinfoiled all the windows inside a nameless AirBnB, which heâd rented from some shivering TumblrGoth who was way into, like, black candles, inverted pentagrams, and big plastic 3Dprinted gargoyles.
Fancy LED lights in Shapeways Nervous-System lamps were segueing through every color in the spectrum, while Soundcloud was streaming the shriekiest works of Grimes.
This was not his customary scene, and I further perceived that my man Crawferd had shed several kilos, dyed his hair pastel, and failed to shave. He kept compulsively stroking the filthy screen of his Chinese-knockoff fondleslab.
âBuzz, old buddy,â he croaked at me, âit used to upset me, because I couldnât deliver a massive breakthrough in the networked- matter space. I talked a great game sometimes. But I couldnât execute. But now Iâm so freaked out! Yes! Freaky from success! I have networked matter!â
Crawferd had this thousand-mile killer-drone stare now, and also that rigid, pedantic, coder tone of voice, that grammar-nazi thing you see mostly on Ayn Rand websites.
My deliverable seemed clear to me: reduce fever, resume chill, and restore functionality.
âCrawferd, pal, listen up. Youâve been way overdoing it in an overheated tech scene. Iâve got your back, and Iâm thinking Oahu. Thereâs this cool yoga-hula ashram out there, no Internet connectivity, no cell-phone bars, nothing. Some exercise, brown rice, and vitamin B, and youâll be the old Crawferd in no time.â
âBuzz, this matter is about matter. We see matter because weâre constructed from matter. We imagine weâre made from matter because all we can measure with our network sensors is a narrowly materialistic set of inputs. But that is not the cosmic truth, Buzz. A new science underlies âmatter.â Itâs about a cellular- automata framework in which all material manifestations are computationally equivalent.â
Iâd seen these sad symptoms in other guys like him. My fave Californian tech boy had gone straight off the ledge into full Erik Davis techgnosis. âOahuâs just hours away. Beaches, blue sky, maybe a sweet, understanding hippie lady with some pakalolo.â
âI have found the grail for the coming age of networked matter, Buzz. I have seized its Philosopherâs Stone. I have found a way to transform all matter into network.â
âWhy?â I said.
He got that look on his face. âWhat do you mean, âwhyâ?â
âWhere is my user benefit? Where is the business model? You canât get VC backers for that scheme! That is pure Tim Leary mystic woo-woo! Youâre a coder, Crawferd. I can hear crap like that from L.A. screenwriters.â
âDo I look like Iâm handwaving at you? I have built a freaking demo! I can run it for you, right here, off my phablet.â
Crawferd was a proud and touchy fanatic, but then again, so was Steve Jobs. You can take one fatal step too far into the Reality Distortion Field, and all the typewriters will vanish. They donât come back, either. âSo, what does your demo, uh, demo?â
âYou remember those two Maker kids? The ones I had hacking those beehives for me?â
I remembered his interns, all right. Two cute Millennial designer kids. Their names escaped me, but she was, like, very Kevin Kelly techno-emergence, while he was very Jussi Parikka insect media. They were Crawferdâs start-up slaves. Being Makers, they worked around the clock without a salary, just like bees did.
âYour beehive kids,â I said.
âGreat design research team! They went deep into the bee âumwelt,â that sensory world of bees that only bees can perceive. Bees are intensely illustrative of matter-networking principles. Bees scarcely have brains, yet they still assemble and congeal all the nectar and pollen within a given area.â
âSo thatâs your demo? Itâs bees? Cut to the chase! Whereâs the humming and stinging?â
âThatâs not my demo yet . . . but here, look what they did on
Kickstarter. Youâll appreciate this.â
Crawferd caressed his cruddy little âphabletââman, I really hate that wordâand there they were, Crawferdâs two favorite Maker kids. Nicely dressed up in black and yellow bee-themed cosplay duds, with that embedded video that crowdfunding projects always do.
âHi there, people of the Internet! Iâm Adrienne, a graphic interface designer from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, and this is Julio, my coder and Significant Other!â
There followed ninety seconds of jerky handheld from Adrienneâs iPhone. Her pitch was all about the graphic interfaces through which bees perceive and manipulate matter. Bee sensors, mostly, their compound eyes, antennae, and their big tonguey mandibles.
Then Julio horned in, to vlog about the bee-code running on their tiny bee brains.
Bee brains lacked much processing power. Just enough hardware in there to run a high-level bee-dance language where the bees could clue each other in about tasty matter resources. Adrienne had mocked this system up on a whiteboard with boxes and arrows. Julio had coded it with open-source modules.
Then theyâd created these 3Dprinted plastic âbee puppets.â Their fake plastic Maker bees were, like, awesomely effective at bee dancing. Their robot bees, set dancing by Arduino, were basically Trojan Bees. They had gotten root in the hive. They had powned the hive colony superorganism. Those bees would do whatever the hackers wanted.
âTheir bee-swarm pitch is out of this world!â I told Crawferd. âI canât believe I havenât seen this idea before!â
The Maker kids ramped up to their triumphant climax. Being new to California, theyâd noticed all the window-box marijuana plants. Theyâd hacked their bees to go out to forage for dope pollen.
They showed the camera their existence proof: a double fistful of honey-drenched Silicon Valley hashish.
Then little Adrienne and Julio modestly asked the public for twenty grand to go 3Dprint some beehives, so they could issue some royal-jelly marijuana prescriptions. A business-model screwup that was total facepalm. Of course their Kickstarter had exploded. Just gone ballistic. It had blown past twelve million USD in capital and was heading north at high speed.
âYou have created a monster,â I told Crawferd. âI can see why youâre so upset now. This is not even funny. Where are those crazy kids? Theyâre gonna need to lawyer up.â
âTheyâre no longer with me,â muttered Crawferd. âThatâs the bad part. Thatâs why Iâm hiding in here.â
âSo whereâd they run off to?â

Robot cities: three urban prototypes for future living
by Mateja Kovacic
Before I started working on real-world robots, I wrote about their fictional and historical ancestors. This isnât so far removed from what I do now. In factories, labs, and of course science fiction, imaginary robots keep fuelling our imagination about artificial humans and autonomous machines.
Real-world robots remain surprisingly dysfunctional, although they are steadily infiltrating urban areas across the globe. This fourth industrial revolution driven by robots is shaping urban spaces and urban life in response to opportunities and challenges in economic, social, political and healthcare domains. Our cities are becoming too big for humans to manage.
Good city governance enables and maintains smooth flow of things, data, and people. These include public services, traffic, and delivery services. Long queues in hospitals and banks imply poor management. Traffic congestion demonstrates that roads and traffic systems are inadequate. Goods that we increasingly order online donât arrive fast enough. And the wi-fi often fails our 24/7 digital needs. In sum, urban life, characterised by environmental pollution, speedy life, traffic congestion, connectivity and increased consumption, needs robotic solutions â or so we are lead to believe.
Is this what the future holds? Photobank gallery/Shutterstock.com
In the past five years, national governments have started to see automation as the key to (better) urban futures. Many cities are becoming test beds for national and local governments for experimenting with robots in social spaces, where robots have both practical purpose (to facilitate everyday life) and a very symbolic role (to demonstrate good city governance). Whether through autonomous cars, automated pharmacists, service robots in local stores, or autonomous drones delivering Amazon parcels, cities are being automated at a steady pace.
Many large cities (Seoul, Tokyo, Shenzhen, Singapore, Dubai, London, San Francisco) serve as test beds for autonomous vehicle trials in a competitive race to develop âself-drivingâ cars. Automated ports and warehouses are also increasingly automated and robotised. Testing of delivery robots and drones is gathering pace beyond the warehouse gates. Automated control systems are monitoring, regulating and optimising traffic flows. Automated vertical farms are innovating production of food in ânon-agriculturalâ urban areas around the world. New mobile health technologies carry promise of healthcare âbeyond the hospitalâ. Social robots in many guises â from police officers to restaurant waiters â are appearing in urban public and commercial spaces.

As these examples show, urban automation is taking place in fits and starts, ignoring some areas and racing ahead in others. But as yet, no one seems to be taking account of all of these various and interconnected developments. So how are we to forecast our cities of the future? Only a broad view allows us to do this. To give a sense, here are three examples: Tokyo, Dubai and Singapore.
Tokyo
Currently preparing to host the Olympics 2020, Japanâs government also plans to use the event to showcase many new robotic technologies. Tokyo is therefore becoming an urban living lab. The institution in charge is the Robot Revolution Realisation Council, established in 2014 by the government of Japan.
Tokyo: city of the future. ESB Professional/Shutterstock.com
The main objectives of Japanâs robotisation are economic reinvigoration, cultural branding and international demonstration. In line with this, the Olympics will be used to introduce and influence global technology trajectories. In the governmentâs vision for the Olympics, robot taxis transport tourists across the city, smart wheelchairs greet Paralympians at the airport, ubiquitous service robots greet customers in 20-plus languages, and interactively augmented foreigners speak with the local population in Japanese.
Tokyo shows us what the process of state-controlled creation of a robotic city looks like.
Singapore
Singapore, on the other hand, is a âsmart cityâ. Its government is experimenting with robots with a different objective: as physical extensions of existing systems to improve management and control of the city.
In Singapore, the techno-futuristic national narrative sees robots and automated systems as a ânaturalâ extension of the existing smart urban ecosystem. This vision is unfolding through autonomous delivery robots (the Singapore Postâs delivery drone trials in partnership with AirBus helicopters) and driverless bus shuttles from Easymile, EZ10.
Meanwhile, Singapore hotels are employing state-subsidised service robots to clean rooms and deliver linen and supplies and robots for early childhood education have been piloted to understand how robots can be used in pre-schools in the future. Health and social care is one of the fastest growing industries for robots and automation in Singapore and globally.
youtube
Dubai
Dubai is another emerging prototype of a state-controlled smart city. But rather than seeing robotisation simply as a way to improve the running of systems, Dubai is intensively robotising public services with the aim of creating the âhappiest city on Earthâ. Urban robot experimentation in Dubai reveals that authoritarian state regimes are finding innovative ways to use robots in public services, transportation, policing and surveillance.
National governments are in competition to position themselves on the global politico-economic landscape through robotics, and they are also striving to position themselves as regional leaders. This was the thinking behind the cityâs September 2017 test flight of a flying taxi developed by the German drone firm Volocopter â staged to âlead the Arab world in innovationâ. Dubaiâs objective is to automate 25% of its transport system by 2030.
It is currently also experimenting with Barcelona-based PAL Roboticsâ humanoid police officer and Singapore-based vehicle OUTSAW. If the experiments are successful, the government has announced it will robotise 25% of the police force by 2030.
While imaginary robots are fuelling our imagination more than ever â from Ghost in the Shell to Blade Runner 2049 â real-world robots make us rethink our urban lives.
These three urban robotic living labs â Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai â help us gauge what kind of future is being created, and by whom. From hyper-robotised Tokyo to smartest Singapore and happy, crime free Dubai, these three comparisons show that, no matter what the context, robots are perceived as means to achieve global futures based on a specific national imagination. Just like the films, they demonstrate the role of the state in envisioning and creating that future.

Tips for Real Estate Agents to Get More Business  in Dubai
Regardless of the value of development in the tech industry, you can not bargain the crucial position salespeople play in specific enterprise verticals. Why? Because the goods and offerings in query are private and require a certain degree of consideration to be constructed earlier than the customers circulate ahead to shut the deal.
Real Estate advertising and marketing is this sort of field. It isn't completely approximately the region itself. It is set whom you're buying it from. If the income agent is well-knowledgeable and trustworthy, he can near the deal in the first few meetings. But, maximum of the time, it takes legwork and a ton of convincing to promote a property. Thatâs why we've compiled 9 hints for actual property marketers in an effort to assist them to crack the deal without apple-sprucing anymore.
Be Active on Social Media
Itâs smooth to disregard the symptoms and symptoms and preserve blaming others to your failure. Itâs smooth to count on that point will heal and make the entirety right. But whatâs tough is to talk up your voice.
Itâs smooth for actual property marketers to create a social media profile because it doesnât require one to be an astrophysicist. Whatâs tough is to manipulate the profile and leverage it to entice in clients through social media.
But, how will you already know that humans are inclined to shop for out of your page? Just due to the fact you publish a replacement after days doesnât imply that it'll attain your target market. Itâs pretty insane.
The center gain of a social media platform is to hook up with the target market and provide content material that could trap them into exploring your product offering. The manner to do this is to sign up for actual property Facebook agencies, LinkedIn agencies, or even boards that speak actual property.
Social media structures are a brilliant manner to hook up with ability customers who need to buy their dream houses or promote their properties. If you're already on social media, it's time to step-up your recreation a bit bit. Aggressively be part of agencies which have something to do with actual property. Find folks who are probably inquisitive about your services and personalize your pitch accordingly. Of course, now no longer all of us will respond, however folks that do will come up with a danger to make a sale.
Observe however Donât Copy Your Competitors
What are others doing in your area? How amazing is their website? How lovely are they on social media? And what are their strengths?
It is vital to recognise what techniques your competition are the usage of to develop their income. But it isn't important that the ones with equal techniques will work to your goal market. If you find out about a particular technique out of your competitor, it's miles higher to check and regulate the approach as in keeping with your needs.
For instance, your competitor may choose contacting their clients through email, and you may attempt beginning a communication through stay chat. This may come up with an aspect over your competition.
Design A Killer Business Card
The factor with actual property marketers is that in the event that they donât socialize plenty, they wonât be capable of generating enterprise. And while outlets meet humans, they regularly provide their enterprise cards.
People may not like this manner of advertising and marketing, however if the enterprise card is precise or fascinating, it'll get the eye of the humans.
If you've got a photo fashion dressmaker pal to your pal list, ask them for his or her service. Or, in case you need a dazzling enterprise card, sense unfastened to touch us. We can do it for you.
More Images, higher chances
Even when you have knowledgeable the customer approximately the deal over the telecel smartphone except the customer visits the region or see pics of the property.
When you're promoting to a customer, you aren't simply promoting a property; you're promoting the complete town. This method also is outstanding. You can provide an explanation for as much as you may approximately a region, however except you display the photograph the customer wonât be capable of setting up a bond with the region.
Write Irresistible Content to Capture Leads
No one offers away something unfastened. If you need to earn the consideration of prospects, then you definitely ought to first provide them something valuable. That is probably âX matters to don't forget earlier than shopping for a brand new houseâ or âX approaches to barter the first-rate address your actual property agent?â Once you provide them something valuable, the purchaser will start trusting you and interact in a communication, and after you get that ball rolling, it's miles an awesome danger to wrap it up with a strong deal.

Some could also be postpone about that truth, since some individuals desire beef to lamb meat, however this one simply works. Itâs succulent and juicy. In addition they have a really distinctive white bread bun, sprinkled with black sesame. Their cheese fries are served with melted gruyere cheese, quite than that plastic stuff that comes out of a pump. Itâs the proper burger and my favorite one to bask in.

Inside new bingo craze sweeping Britain with 90s rave music and jugs of Prosecco - Mirror Online

It is Thursday night in one of Manchesterâs most historic former churches â but here there is a very different form of worship going on.
More than a thousand clubbers, aged from 18 to 80, are dancing wildly on tables, waving glowsticks in the air to the cheesy strains of Cotton Eye Joe.
It is a million miles away from the 1950s when Sir Winston Churchill gave a noble address in the very same room of the Albert Hall.
But tonightâs audience are no less captivated as their host for the evening, Rich Furness, shouts: âManchester! Itâs f***ing bingo time!â
Welcome to Bongoâs Bingo â the clubbing phenomenon sweeping the nation and attracting thousands of fans of all ages every week.
This is bingo like you have never seen it before. Forget your dabbers in a dusty hall, nursing half a cider.
At Bongoâs it is bingo in glorious Technicolor, with players fuelled by jugs of Prosecco and gin cocktails, hairy male dancers dressed in skimpy Disney princess costumes and cheesy pop classics to get people raving in the aisles and on the tables.
And the unique thing about Bongoâs is it has something for everyone â from students on freshersâ week to grannies on nights out with three generations of their family.
But Bongoâs is not the only place attracting older clubbers who previously might have spent their weekend nights with their feet up in front of the telly.
Hacienda Classical, which takes dance music from legendary club the Manchester Hacienda and sets it to the strains of a live classical orchestra, has been selling out across the country, with 40-something clubbers reliving their raving heydays.
And Baby Loves Disco has brought clubbing into the afternoons, so parents can bring along their toddlers and dance to their favourite rave classics â and hopefully avoid a hangover in the process.
But at Bongoâs, it is strictly over-18s only and my bingo partner for the night was 77-year-old Eileen Johnson, from Rochdale, who was on a night out with daughter Dawn Brown-Latey and granddaughter Rhoadaline, 21.
âWill you be dancing on the table tonight then Eileen?â I ask her as an ice-breaker. âI will if I have a few of these,â she laughs, pointing at her favourite Bacardi and coke tipple.
And she stuck to her promise. As soon as DJ Rich stuck on party pleaser Sweet Caroline, she was on her feet and dancing away with the best of them.
Dawn, 51, is not surprised. âSheâs the life and soul of the party is my mum,â she explains. âOf course, her favourite song is Come on Eileen and she is always the first one up dancing to it.
âShe is up for anything. Doing stuff like this with us keeps her young â you would never believe she is 77.â
Former textile mill worker Eileen is not the only one who is up for anything.
Playing bingo almost seems like an after-thought as students and grannies rave together to the strains of the Nolansâ Iâm in the Mood for Dancing.
And one poor lass clearly got so over-excited by the cocktail jugs that she had to be carried out before the first game of bingo was over.
But that does not mean there is not stiff competition when eyes down is called.
Some players, though, seem more excited by the space hopper, life-size cardboard cut-out of telly chef Ainsley Harriott and a Henry Hoover than they do by the big cash payouts of hundreds of pounds for a full house.
As Rich calls out the numbers, the players are waiting with bated breath â not for one that gives them a chance of a prize, but for a number which triggers a song to get them all dancing.
When Rich announces the number 19, the place is soon bouncing to the strains of Manc anthem Not Nineteen Forever by The Courteeners. Number 33 brings Irish classic Tell Me Ma, and the number five a pop Medley by 90s boyband 5ive. You get the gist.
Jane Roughsedge was at Bongoâs to celebrate her 50th birthday with her family and friends. Jane and niece Emma, 40, are Bongoâs veterans and brought their pals along to see what they have been raving on about.
Emma says: âWe love it. Every time you come, something different happens. It is so unexpected and the music is brilliant.â Jane adds: âI donât really go out much these days, so it is really great to do something like this for a special occasion.â
On the next table along, are a group of young students from Manchester Metropolitan University on a freshersâ week night out.
Should they not be down the road in one of the cityâs big rave clubs, I ask. Tom Ruston, 19, laughs: âBongoâs Bingo is better than a rave.â
His pal Kodie Sergeant, 18, agrees: âI love Bongoâs. You can dress up, dress down, it doesnât matter.
âIt doesnât matter how old you are either â Iâm only 18 but there will be a lady over there who is 60.â
Bongoâs was launched in 2015 by friends Jonny Bongo and Joshua Burke.
In just four years, they have gone international, with shows week-in-week-out across the country and in Australia, Ibiza, France and Dubai, selling more than a million tickets.
But with any money-spinner, there is bound to be controversy.
There is currently an on-going High Court battle over who owns the rights to Bongoâs, with Liverpool bar Camp and Furnace claiming to be the owner, as Burke launched the nights there while he was their employee.
But the fans do not seem to care what is going on behind the scenes as long as they can play bingo and dance like nobodyâs watching.
Host Rich, who by his own admission is feeling a little delicate after a 24-hour stint in Ibiza hosting a Bongoâs special there, says the magic of Bongoâs is that it appeals to anyone and everyone.
âIt is something that all ages can enjoy. You get generations here â daughters coming with their mums and their nannas. It is a really rare thing. Because you have the bingo, the stand-up comedy, audience interaction, dance-offs â there is something that everyone can enjoy.
âWe appeal to an age range of 18 to 90. We had one lady here who was 92. To have something that appeals to so many different age ranges is the nut that we have cracked.
âFor the older ones, it is like they are reliving their youth. In fact, I think they enjoy it more â in the raves it is the older ones you see really going for it. Some people call it âforced funâ but it isnât forced, it is just brilliant fun.â

âWe had an 80-year-old man in for his birthday and he won a dinosaur costume. He put it on straight away and kept it on all night,â laughs Rich.
âThen, last week in Glasgow, we had a pregnant lady in the dance-off and she won. So many random things happen here all the time. I think that is what keeps people coming back.â
Bongoâs Bingos events are a bingo game unlike any other
By Kieren Williams
Bongoâs Bingos events are a bingo game unlike any other.
As a 23-year-old I thought bingo was a game for my gran.
But with everything from dance offs, drinking and 90s music, to a rave interval, confetti and cat walks, this is a night out for any age.
The night will see you having a dance off with strangers for cash prizes and going from nearly silent games of bingo one moment, to dancing on the tables the next with the room erupting into mayhem.
I had the best night at Bongoâs Bingo, playing a classic game with an amazing twist. There was a lot of screeching, with Bee Gees music booming from the speakers and everyone up on their feet, number after number, drink after drink.
It was certainly a bit different from the evenings Iâd go with my gran at the local community centre before Christmas.
