PALISAD 1929. GODINE

Prvi turistički objekti na Palisadu - za Mijaila A. Jevremovića (1857-1926), uglednog zlatiborskog trgovca, u jednom periodu predsednika čajetinske opštine i narodnog poslanika, moglo bi se reći da je pionir turizma na najlepšoj planini Srbije.

Njegova mehana i petnaestak koliba podignutih na Palisadu oko 1905. godine smatraju se prvom turističkom ponudom Zlatibora. Kod Jevremovića, kako je sam zabeležio,"svako leto probave posetioci vazdušne banje". Godine 1910. podigao je i baraku (prodavnicu mešovite robe) "u kojoj je svaki posetioc mogao naći šta mu je potrebno".

...posle Mijaila Jevremovića, na Palisadu su mehane i pansione gradili Vojin Paunović, Radosav Bučevac, Milomir Čolović, Ilinka Marković, Veljko Kremić...

Built in 1915 by the Sydney Harbour Trust for port workers and the community, the landmark Palisade Hotel was the highest building in Sydney at the time. Many diggers enjoyed their last beer at the hotel before heading for war. It was also used as a lodge for workers building the harbour bridge. Over the years, the hotel has been frequented by many Sydney criminals and characters. In August this year, the 100-year-old hotel reopened as Hotel Palisade after sitting dormant for seven years. It was closed in 2008 for an renovation by the then owner. It sold at auction in March this year for about $20 million. After under going a $5 million renovation by its new owners, the pub is once again being enjoyed by Sydneysiders. The building has a below ground cellar, a ground floor bar, three levels of accommodation made up of nine boutique hotel rooms, a floor with cocktail bar and private function rooms, and a restaurant enclosed in glass on the top. IZVEŠTAJ O ŠTETI KOJU SU NAČINILE ZVERI DOMAĆIM ŽIVOTINJAMA U JABLANIČKOJ OPŠTINI 1937 GOD.

U prvim decenijama XX veka sreske i opštinske vlasti su organizovale i sprovodile hajke na "zverinje". Lovci su pozivani u hajke kad god bi vukovi ili lisice pričinile veće štete "u stadu" lokalnog stanovništva.
