Hiya! could I request the male romanceables' ways of apologising to p/c after an argument? I saw a post about it and wanted to know your thoughts thanks so much and belated happy birthday!

So sorry about the wait, I had a sudden case of burnout!! Here we go!!

Hodari:

Hodari feels like the scum of the earth when he knows he hurt your feelings during an argument. His apologies are soft to you and brutal toward himself; he'll let you know that he's a hardass and stupid when he gets too into his own head. When that's out of the way, he'll explain how he never meant to hurt you, never in a million years. If he REALLY messed up, expect to be cooked your favorite meal, with your favorite dessert, and a long array of explanations and apologies into the night.

Reth:

Reth's also one to berate himself during his apologies, just out of habit. His apologies are more like rambles, really, due to how panicked he gets when he sees you're genuinely upset. He'll splutter out how sorry he is, how idiotic he was being, how wonderful you are, and how he'll do better. Even if it's just a little argument, Reth will make you an apology food of your liking, most often desserts. Or soup. That's a given. Whatever you two argued over will most likely not be argued about again, as Reth hates confrontation and doesn't want to relive hurting you again.

Hassian:

When Hassian hurts you, he cuts right to the chase. There are no excuses. There are rarely explanations. Absolutely no self-degradation; he keeps that to himself. Hassian apologizes up front for what he's done and asks what he could do to make up for it. And even if you forgive him and tell him he doesn't have to worry about it, he'll search for a meaningful gift anyway. Something like you like, something practical, or perhaps something poetic. He's not going to let you go without a physical apology.

Einar:

Einar is characteristically blunt whenever he apologizes. He'll explain his thought process for why he acted the way he did or said the things he said, not deminishing it by any means. He'll then list out his observations that he's had if you following your argument; you seem upset, dejected, frustrated. He'll explain how he does not like seeing you with such emotions. Finally, he'll apologize and let you know he won't say/do whatever he did again.

Jel:

Jel is a mixed bag when it comes to apologizing. He might delay apologizing he feels he's REALLY in the right. But at some point, he comes to the realization that his pride means less to him than you do. You are Jel's everything, and he's not going to let you suffer silently due to something he did. So, with all his melancholy, Jel will softly apologize to you and tell you how much he adores you and loves everything about you. He'll kiss you, hold you, whisper sweet words to you. Everything to make up for his callous behavior before, and to show you how much you mean to him.

Nai'o:

Nai'o rarely ever gets angry or argumentative. When he does, he's loud and actually kind of scary—which is the LAST THING he wants to be, for you. When he sees you upset because of something he said, did, or hinted at, he will profusely apologize. He'll hug you tight, whispering how sorry he is and how he didn't mean to hurt you or scare you. Later in the day, he'll come moping to you with a fresh-baked pie and flowers, even if you did already forgive him.

General Headcanons - Nai'o

Nai’o . . .

- is a sensitive and wholeheartedly smitten lover

- craves any sort of appreciation and praise from you; expect a lot of acts of service

- sneaks out when he’s not busy to meet up with you; maybe skips extra chores just to be there

- always gets butterflies when he sees your face

- may or may not stay with kenyatta; use your imagination for whichever outcome you’d like, really

- overworks every day but still likes to stay up til midnight, especially if he’s at your place

- is pretty much an open book when it comes to his problems and is a terrible liar when it comes telling you he’s fine

- is a bit of a dunce when it comes to flirting on the spot but he’s trying his best, okay

- is naturally touchy-feely, so he sometimes flusters you without knowing until you’re hot in the face

- gets playful and teasy when he knows you’re blushing

- will learn your daily routine so he can expect you at certain times

- appreciates if you bring him cooked meals or treats; you’ll always be rewarded with a kiss

- loves, loves, LOVES receiving back massages from you. Bless him, his back muscles are always so sore and tired, he really needs the relief. Plus, he sees the service as a reward from you for working so hard

- only listens to orders to stop overworking if you give them

- loves snuggling with you; there is absolutely no way this man isn’t gonna cuddle you if you’re in a bed together

- is an animal guy, obviously, so if he sees a certain creature or you mention one, he’ll go off on an excited trivia tangent

- can talk a lot, but he loves hearing you go on rants about your interests too, or even just about your day; your voice soothes his stress

- loooves to cook for you; hearing your praise for a home-cooked meal makes him so immeasurably happy!

- journals intense feelings he has for you until he’s ready to confront them fully, often re-reading them late at night when he can’t sleep

- has little to no filter when it comes to expressing how attractive you are, though all of his compliments are innocuous

- is a sucker for how you hold him, in any way, in any atmosphere; for example, after a bad day, the first thing he’ll do when you’re alone is guide your hands to wrap around his waist, sulking on your shoulder and pleading for your touch

- often falls asleep if you’re both just casually cuddling, as he only gets around 4 hours of sleep a night

- goes over to your place to sleep with you, as he doesn’t like the idea of you two sleeping in the room that’s adjacent to his parents’

- adores sleeping in your room anyway due to how everything smells like you, and your room is always slightly cold, which prompts you both to snuggle close

- wakes up at 4 usually, but sometimes, if he’s feeling “rebellious,” he’ll sleep in with you until 5

- giggles like an idiot whenever you peck kisses anywhere on him, especially loud and giddy if you kiss all over his face

- will always beat you in cards; he’ll smile and apologize for each time he wins, but secretly he loves how cute you look when you’re offended over it

- offers to braid your hair occasionally, no matter the length (he learned it from doing the ormuus’ hair for the annual fair)

- excitedly writes you updates whenever he’s out in the city with his family, telling you he misses you while describing how different the city is from Kilima; ugh, he wishes he could take you on family vacations!

- are both tender-hearted and selfless lovers that will put down everything they're doing to love you

- are quite innocent and don't understand flirtations often, but when they do, they're smiling, blushing messes

- encourage you in whatever you want to persue or any decision you'd like to make; when the world seems against you, you'll still have them, and they'll protect you from the world

- can both cook, tish more so, so you'll never worry about cooking (unless you want to, in which case, go for it)

- may or may not complete the three of you onto a official throuple; they're both shy around each other

- Tish often asks if you've and Nai'o have been drinking water and eating correctly, especially if you've been on adventures or he's been overworking more than usual

- Tish will undoubtably rant to Jel and Reth about you and how you make her feel butterflies and tingles

- Nai'o is more of a diary person to express those feelings, or he'll just tell you unabashedly, but occasionally he talks to his momma alone about how in love he is

- Nai'o often leaves home to bring you and Tish that evening's dinner

- Tish loves receiving gifts, although she doesn't say it: giving her anything makes her squeal and clap excitedly, followed by a tight hug

- Nai'o's also loves receiving gifts, but he's more of a "blushing, smiling like a fool" type of excited

- Nai'o loves yapping to you and Tish about things that have been happening on the farm, especially the ormuus; Tish adores hearing updates on the creatures

- Tish is a constant initiator of affection; when she sees you, you'll get a hug and/or a kiss immediately

- Nai'o, on the other hand, begs for your touch, even offering to do physical work for you in exchange for a cuddle; when you assure him that he all he has to do is ask, he's glowing with happiness

- Tish loves to be spooned, so you'll all have to kind of spoon a bit; not that Nai'o minds spooning you as well in these situations, quite the opposite (he internally loses his mind with an incredibly magenta face)

- I will ask for information about your OC (personality, likes, dislikes) before writing; art references help for imagery details

- Average SFW word count is 1000-1500 words

- Average NSFW word count is 2000-3000 words (I get lost in details lol)
