Hey Bozo, I know words are hard so I'll give you a pointer. "Thinly veiled" means that the racism is not immediately obvious. This post explains the problem. A Weird thing I have noticed people always complain about when a metro and light rail system expansion is proposed is the idea that the metro system will lower property values when typically they do the opposite for cities. Like I get concerns around gentrification but the whole fear of property values being lowered by public transit really seems like thinly vailed racism because white suburbanites tend to associate public transit with black people
