The Return of the Light ~ Days get gradually longer after yule

Yuletide is upon us in Georgia and I'd like to wish every Pagan, witch, wiccan etc a blessed yuletide and whatever it is or how you believe your solstice is bright, warm and merry. As we pass through Thanksgiving, I begin to be drawn into the Season of Yule--Winter Solstice--Christmas. By next week I will be preparing for my journey, this year, through the Thirteen Dayes of Yule; a fictional calendar I have created over the last 40 years for experiencing the poetics, myths and mysticism of the Winter Solstice Season. This book presents one version of the Thirteen Dayes through three ecumenical Pagans.

Tomorrow is Yule!! I didn’t want to wait so here yall go.

I always see Christmas art but I’d love to see the things I participate in and love portrayed as well 🫶

I included so many little traditions, like the Yule Log, and the Wish Cones adorned around it. There’s Cranberry Mule, Wassail, and even Caine and Bubble starring as The Yule Father (Jólfaðr) and Krampus :)
