When you find yourself looking back on life, don’t be afraid to really PAUSE! Pause to carefully attend to the wounds you see, Pause to let go of the things weighing you down, Pause to gain clarity on the choices you make, Pause to see the community of love cheering you on, Pause to be free in God’s will! 2020 presented me with an unforgettable opportunity to PAUSE! What should have been 2 weeks in Boston became a much needed restoration of hope in God’s mission for my life. My faith is so real, though my brokenness makes it very difficult to express when I’m alone. For so many years and even up to today I’ve continuously allowed a distorted perception of relationships to overshadow my wisdom from God. No one knows the struggles I face daily, only my God! And thankfully in this PAUSE I experienced a new outpouring of His compassion, mercy and love. Thank you @shalomnewyork for the freedom to be #CrazyBeautiful I truly miss you all @padrecristiano @wvramirez_05 @allanrobinsonsh @justinelff @steph_0019 @julia_0410 @tricia.lucia Until we meet again... my home away from home 🙏🏾🤗❤️ P.S. My top 11 things I loved about my trip: 1) Receiving Jesus daily 2) Family meals at the dining table (I always desired this growing up) 3) QT with Jesus in Adoration 4) Riding a bicycle for the first time in maybe 25 years! 5) Serving the San Damiano Mission 6) Steph bringing me bagels 7) Cooking an amazing Christmas ham! 8) Seeing my flaws in others and striving to deepen their awareness through my response of love 9) Shepherdship & Vocational discernment retreats in Boston 10) Having a dryer & dishwasher 🤣 11) Sharing my experience with the Holy Spirit with Shalom Toronto (thanks @shraquelreis ) I enjoyed every moment... good and the bad... and after all those COVID tests... I’m still negative! Thank You Jesus for this once in a lifetime opportunity! Eternally grateful! https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ7kfoXhWAalcAG47e_KBGVPlvRTaocRJU35_40/?igshid=mtszakql8lfx

“I will lift my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night” - Psalm 121:1 “And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and called according to His purpose” - Romans 8:28 Where are you looking for peace during this pandemic? Are you looking up? Last night after participating in @shalom.boston #HopeSeries via Youtube, I went to bed encouraging myself to always look up. This morning I woke up feeling overwhelmingly grateful. Grateful that I know God intimately, for my home, for gainful employment to provide for all my needs, my family, my friends, to know that He has placed a special anointing on my life. However, I am especially grateful because even during this quarantine I am being ministered to in such extraordinary ways through this #Shalom #VocationOfPeace @aliveinchrist.sh @shalom.boston and especially @padrecristiano @barbaratavares.sh ...my true #MinistersOfPeace My prayer for today is that you, yes you, will take a moment and look up! Look up to God and trust in his promise to never forsake you! The Lord hears the cry of the poor, those of us poor whether financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically, in whichever area of your life that you feel is lacking! God is sending you a special anointing! I have always had great faith... it is a true gift from God! But even the smallest faith, through optimistic hope, can transform doubt and fear into reality! Choose today to be a source of optimistic faith for someone in need! And remember, I’m praying for you! 🙏🏾❤️😇 (at Kingston, Jamaica) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_UzytRhgwjEB1wBdpNQD7kp-2WaGFgcLYBMJo0/?igshid=ihd4ge6kea1j
