the way some of team black’s stans are so obsessed with glorifying how viserys has blatant favourism for rhaenyra icks me out so much!!

like why tf are u celebrating the fact that this old man loves the daughter of the child-bride he loved and KILLED over the children of the child-bride he neglects…????

viserys’ love hurts the people who he feels it for anyway!!

like he loved aemma… butchered her anyway and tried to make up for that with rhaenyra being heir, but ruined rhaenyra’s legitimate claim by breeding his daughter’s young bestfriend 😭😭

he loved daemon…. but held the royce marriage over his head and NEVER even tried to give daemon a chance for true love… instead leading to daemon reaching his limit and MURDERING an innocent woman!!

he loves rhaenyra… but didn’t teach her that she needs to be cautious about her actions in the courts as everyone is looking for a chance to weaken her, he didn’t aid her properly with learning the ways of the small council, never made her hand, didn’t give her a firm talk saying something about how she needs to be careful with harwin and how her actions are very damning for her future kids 😭
