Choć jak mówi piosenka w Kalifornii nigdy deszcz nie pada, plenerowy pokaz kolekcji Versace na jesień i zimę 2023/24 w Los Angeles, choć długo wyczekiwany, ze względu na pogodę został cofnięty o dzień. Na szczęście nie spowodowało to wakatów w pierwszym rzędzie pokazu. Pojawili się tam m.in. Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Channing Tatum, Anne Hathaway i Lil Nas X, a także przyjaciele marki i samej Donatelli Versace - Elton John i Cher. Wybieg urządzono na dachu Pacific Design Center w West Hollywood, z pięknym widokiem na miasto.

Donatella Versace przyznaje że jest zakochana w ludziach i atmosferze tego miejsca. Tym bardziej że pokaz odbył się w przedoskarowym tygodniu. Donatella była w tym okresie wiele razy w Hollywood pracując z gwiazdami noszącymi jej stylizacje podczas oskarowej gali. Tym razem to ona była gwiazdą. Źródło: Versace. Muzyka: Adorian

Although, as the song says, it never rains in California, the outdoor show of the Versace collection for Fall - Winter 2023/24 in Los Angeles, although long-awaited, was moved back a day due to the weather forecast. Fortunately, this did not result in vacancies in the front row of the show. There were, among others, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Channing Tatum, Anne Hathaway and Lil Nas X, as well as friends of the brand and Donatella Versace herself - Elton John and Cher. The runway was set up on the roof of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, with a beautiful view of the area.

Donatella Versace admits that she is in love with the people and atmosphere of this place. The more so that the show took place in the pre-Oscar week. Throwback time! Does anyone else miss going to fun parties, dressing up, and being social? I do! For an extrovert like me, this pandemic and quarantine has been tough. I’m a person who is used to being around other people all of the time in life, work, and play. I also love meeting new people. And I am very sensitive to and thrive off of other people’s energies. Na wybiegu modelki ubrane w wycięte na przodzie suknie balowe Cloqué ciągnęły za sobą długie treny, inne szły mając na sobie małe czarne. Męskie smokingi ozdobiono kryształkami. Niektóre sukienki wykonano przy użyciu technik zwykle zarezerwowanych dla couture.

Bardziej zwyczajny set obejmował schludne kroje z ostrymi ramionami i wciętą talią inspirowane kolekcjami Gianniego Versace z połowy lat 90. oraz skórzane twinsety, płaszcze samochodowe i luźne dżinsy typu boyfriend.

Donatella Versace tym razem zrezygnowała z agresywnego brandingu i ograniczyła paletę kolorów.
