watching ml7 pachimarchi tournament vod so crazy he innovated the yznsa pharah comp before this years world cup. crazy seeing the same saudi arabia teamcomp and plays in the vod. pharah centric all resources go to the carry with self sufficient skeleton team. only big change other than optimization/preference with kiri/dva is ksa picked up quartz to control sightlines with hitscan instead of self sufficiency torb/sombra pick. wild. and even in the pachimarchi tourn warn could flex onto ashe and ml7 approved. (plus he sort of filled the role quartz does with torb sombra, just with turret/hack instead of direct dps)

i guess this is the comp you have to run though if you wanna play pharah comps. shes such a resource greedy hero you have to all in on her plays. swhy quartz is always on the widow or ashe instead of cass. i wonder about the kiri that ksa likes to run over ana though. cause ml7 has wanted to flex onto kiri a lot this tourn too but yznsa values nano over survivability/suzu. ml7 is known for his ana too i guess...and ana means better pocketing. but i guess thats why they have ksaa on the dva for matrix instead of ball. sacrificing some self sufficiency on the tank for hard peel, which gives some room for the second support to flex onto something like kiri. and majeds kiri is cracked so i cant fault that decision

yeah actually after thinking about it i think the kiri/dva makes sense. its optimization because kiri dva fill the same niche of flex queens that have way more viable playstyles than most of their counterparts. dva with peel/dive and kiri also with peel/flank. nano is really good for making barrage plays viable, but with a dva/suzu you can have the same survivability even with less dmg boost, and in the case that yznsa falls theres more room for comeback than with ball/ana. ball is hypersurvive and dive but with way less team utility and ana is nano/pocket but really vulnerable. so these changes just optimize what ml7 ran for this tourn

so excited for world cup tho i loved watching the saudi arabia matches...crazy how they sort of popularized the competitive pharah comp...

OH YEAH ALSO NO WONDER ML7 HAD SUCH GOOD INSIGHT WHILE WATCHING THE MATCHES LOLLL ESP WHEN HE SAID U HAVE TO BE A GOOD MERCY TO KEEP UP WITH YZNSA he saw firsthand how crazy he plays lmaooo. its true tho trying to keep up with a good pharah is insane their sightlines and movement patterns are different enough from mercys that u have to really adjust your ga rhythm to not get left behind
