Y/n felt weird coming back to Barcelona, especially since she wasn’t here to see gavi anymore, but since she still had friends in Barcelona she decided to visit them.
This brought her to a club with her friends, finding herself seated at the bar, a tad dizzy, her phone discreetly buzzing in her purse.
Y/n’s eyebrows furrowed her eyebrows seeing the caller ID—Pablo., she threw her phone away as her friend Dani approached.
“Hey! You okay?” Dani asked, placing an order for another round.
Nodding and offering a forced smile, Y/n replied, “Yeah, I’ll join the other girls soon.”
As Dani left, Y/n’s phone buzzed again, this time with messages from Pablo:
Come over please.
I need you.
Returning to her friends, “Hey, I’m not feeling great. I’ll head out.” Y/n yelled over the loud music, her friends bombarded her with questions, displaying a mix of curiosity and concern, but Y/n’s mind was elsewhere. Ignoring their queries, she couldn’t shake off the notification revealing Pablo’s new address.
Pablo’s message lingered in her thoughts as she gulped, throwing her phone back into her purse.
“I’ll grab a taxi; don’t worry,” she reassured her friends before speed walking outside to the exit.
Y/n stood outside Gavi's front door, debating whether she should knock or not, knowing being here was a bad idea.
“Fuck it, it’s fine” she whispered to herself.
As y/n knocks on the door she can hear loud footsteps running towards the door, which reveals a messy hair gavi with a smirk on his face
“Hey”
✿
Y/n Moaned as she threw her head back “f- fuck Pablo, I missed you”
Y/N closed her eyes, Overwhelmed by Gavi’s kiss, the way he stretched her out, and the lingering sensitivity from the edging session, an unexpected yet inevitable orgasm crashed over her.
Bowing off the bed with a sharp cry, there was no time to recover as Gavi intensified, driving her into a cascade of orgasms. Gavi urged, “Scream for me, yeah?. Let it all out,” pressing his thumb against her needy, swollen clit. The climax repeated until exhaustion set in, and she collapsed against the bed, her body sore from relentless orgasms.
As she lay limp, Gavi slowed, groaning as he reached his own climax. “Fuck, I missed you,” he whispered, smoothing her hair back and sealing the moment with a lingering kiss. “You did so well.”
Gavi fell asleep on top of Y/N, their bodies intertwined in the aftermath. The room was filled with a hushed stillness, only broken by the soft sounds of their breathing.
As Y/N lay there, catching her breath, her phone started to vibrate with a message. Gently extracting herself from Gavi's embrace, she reached for her phone. The screen lit up, revealing a message from Dani.
"Hey Y/N, haven't heard from you in a while. Everything okay?"
Y/N's gaze shifted from the message to Gavi, still peacefully asleep. She hesitated, contemplating how to respond without waking him.
I just had a long night. Gonna catch some sleep now. We’ll catch up soon, promise.
She pressed send and gently placed the phone back on the nightstand.
Turning her attention back to Gavi before drifting off to sleep.
The next morning, Y/N stirred from her slumber as gentle kisses traced along her neck. Slowly opening her eyes, she was met with Gavi’s warm gaze and a tender smile.
“Buenos días, linda,” Gavi murmured, continuing to pepper her face with soft kisses. “ I really missed you y/n/n”
Y/N couldn’t help but smile back. “Morning,” she replied, reaching up to brush back gavi’s hair.
Gavi paused, looking thoughtful. “I was planning to make breakfast for you, but my kitchen is empty. Do you want to go out and get breakfast? I still have some of your clothes in the closet you can wear”
Y/N grinned, liking the idea. “Sure, I’d love to” she replied giving him one last kiss before standing up.
After breakfast with gavi, he drove y/n to her hotel and as soon as she got to her room, her phone started ringing with a phone call from her friend Dani
“Y/n what the actual fuck, back with Gavi seriously?” Her friend screamed over the phone, y/n rolled her eyes as she chuckled
“Dani we’re not back together, we were just catching up, can’t two people reconnect? I only see him as a friend”
“You don’t even believe it yourself y/n”

Jealousy, Jealousy (Gavi)
Summary: You realize that Gavi never gets jealous when other guys are around you and it makes you question if he still likes you.
Warning(s): None
A/N: Hey! I had some inspiration to write so here I am! I’m trying to release shorter fics while I work on my longer ones. Requests are open!

Masterlist
The first time it happened, you felt relieved that Gavi had decided not to make a scene and instead chose to calmly defuse the situation.
The two of you had been at a club late one night, the high from Barcelona winning hours before pumping through your veins. He had his arms wrapped around you as you both danced to whatever Spanish song the DJ was mixing.
You laughed as he spun you around before pulling you closer, leaning down to whisper in your ear as he moved a strand of hair out of your face.
"I'm going to grab another drink. Want to come?"
His breath was hot against your ear, and even though it felt like a million degrees in the club, and you were sweating through your dress, you still shivered, his voice sending shockwaves through your system no matter how many times you heard it.
You looked up, locking eyes, "I'm good, I'll save our spot."
He kissed the top of your head before letting go, "Ok I'll be back in a second. Try and find the others if you can."
You gave him an awkward thumbs up as he walked away and he chuckled before disappearing into the crowd.
The two of you had been dating for just shy of three weeks.
You had been friends for months before dating, with you initially being introduced to him through his hometown friends. Then there was a three-month period where you both liked each other but were too scared to admit it and ruin the friendship. Finally, Gavi caved after spending two weeks away from you without contact while he playing in the U.S.
Since he admitted his feelings for you that night on the steps of your shitty college house, he had jumped straight into the relationship, inviting you to his games, to hang out with his friends, and private dinners. You on the other hand still felt like an awkward pre-teen girl every time you were with him, he just made you feel giddy inside, and you reacted to things he said so intensely that the only way to cover it up was with strange humor and stupid jokes.
That led you to now. Sometimes being around him was so overwhelming because you were always scared you would say something to embarrass yourself, and although he never made you feel any less worthy you couldn't help but feel like he could be with someone much better than you.
As you stood there contemplating, you felt a body collide with yours, effectively pulling you out of your thoughts.
You stumbled, feeling hands come up to grip your elbows, stabilizing you.
"Shit- my bad."
You looked up seeing the guy holding you sporting a white button-down and an apologetic smile.
"Sorry, those guys just pushed me. Some friends." He said referring to the group of five or so extremely drunk boys behind you.
You shook your head, "No worries, I wasn't paying attention either."
He smiled, leaning a bit closer, hands still on your elbows, "Hey do I know you? You look really familiar.”
You squinted your eyes as you gazed at him, trying to figure out if you knew him.
"Eh I go to Universitat de Barcelona if that helps."
His eyes lit up at your words, and he nodded, "Yeah, that's totally how I know you. I think you're in my biology class."
You groaned, "No way the one at 8 a.m.?", he nodded, "I'm barely awake for that lecture." you muttered.
"Mean either but it's hard not to notice you."
You only heard half his sentence and looked at him confused, "Sorry what?"
His lips tugged up in a smile as he bent down, shifting closer to you, "I said it's hard not to notice you."
You felt your breath stop as you realized what you had gotten yourself into. You made a move to shy away when you heard Gavi call your name.
You lifted your head seeing him approaching as he carried your drink, "Hey who's this?"
You went to interject and tell him it was no one but the guy next to you interrupted, "Hey man, I got to school with her.”
Gavi nodded, accepting his answer as he handed you your drink, "Oh class friend?"
You went to speak but were again cut off by the guy next to you, who had still to let go of your elbow.
"Something like that."
You saw Gavi's posture slightly straighten at his words but he relaxed a second later, "Alright."
The guy turned to you saying something about seeing you in class and then proceeded to give you a hug, his arms wrapping around your lower back.
You noticed Gavi watching the exchange but he made no comment.
You approached him timidly, unsure of if he was going to say anything about the situation, but he paid it no mind, going back to casual conversation with you.
At the time you let out a breath, thankful that he seemed intent on letting you handle your own situation.
That thankfulness soon turned to annoyance and then confusion when similar situations happened time and time again and he made no effort to speak up.
You supposed it was good he never got jealous because you knew it could get very overbearing very fast, and yet, you couldn't help the twinge of defeat you felt every time someone tried to make a move on you and he did nothing to stop them or even show a ounce of emotion.
Slowly it was making you start to question your relationship with Gavi.
Why did he not get jealous? Was it because he didn't see others as a threat? Or didn't feel the need to because you weren't as pretty as the other girls he was seen with? Maybe he simply didn't care? Or perhaps he wasn't the type?
You knew the last one couldn't possibly be true because he was absolutely the type. His entire career was based on his passion, determination, and aggression to get where he wanted. His aggression is what made him so competitive and a loyal player. So if he was so driven and passionate on the field, why was that not carrying over into your relationship?
It wasn't until almost two months later that things came to a boiling point.
It was the last game of the pre-season for Barcelona and spirits were high, everyone hoping they could seal off a great season, and enter a new one, with a win.
The stadium was filled to the brim with fans and reporters. The family section was also full with player's partners and families coming to support them in the final game of the summer.
You were sitting next to Anna, the two of you talking about school, work, and life.
Eventually, the game started and you went into full-on fan mode - cheering along when Barca made impressive plays and booing when they were tackled.
The stadium was abuzz with energy, and you basked in everyone's excitement.
You gripped Anna's hand as you saw Gavi running up the sidelines towards the other team's defense, Joao running parallel to him.
You saw him sidestep, dodging the defender, and suddenly the ball was soaring, perfectly landing at Joao's feet as he placed it into the back of the net.
The two of you jumped up, cheering along with the rest of the crowd. It seemed like Barcelona would have its victory after all.
After the game, you stayed in the family section for a while chatting with Pedri's parents as you waited for the players to make a re-emerge.
You bid goodbye to them when you got a text from Gavi telling you to come down.
You made your way down to the field, waiting behind the barricades for him to appear.
The other team's players appeared first, signing fans t-shirts and taking photos.
"Need something signed?"
You saw a player from the other team approach you, waving a sharpie in his hand.
You pointed at your jersey playfully, "No thanks. I'm a Barca girl if you couldn't tell."
He grinned, "Ahh c'mon what will it take for me to convince you?"
You shrugged your shoulders, "Ride or die sorry."
He clutched his hand to his heart in mock offense, "Ouch. I'm hurt, but I'm not giving up."
You gave him a smile, remaining polite, as you looked over his shoulder for Gavi.
"Oh I know!" he exclaimed, directing your attention back to him.
He wiggled his eyebrows before taking off his shirt, "Here, new jersey for you."
He held it out to you, and you gave him an unimpressed look.
He rolled his eyes playfully, "Alright fine. I'll sign it, but only cause you asked so nicely."
You watched amused as he signed the jersey before offering it to you.
You squinted your eyes at him.
He dangled the jersey in his hands, "C'mon take it. You know a lot of people would pay good money for this."
You reached out to grab it, "Fine, but only because I'm going to sell it later."
He held up his hands in surrender, "It's yours now. Do whatever."
You thought the conversation would end there but he made no effort to leave, "Who are you here with anyway? Someone in Barca?"
You opened your mouth to respond but were cut off.
"Me."
You whipped your head to see that Gavi had silently approached the two of you.
Besides yourself, you felt a tiny part of you waiting with bated breath for him to do something, to finally dig his boots in the ground and say something, but he remained impassive.
"Hey."
"Hey, you ready to go?" Gavi asked.
You nodded your head, unsure of how to leave the situation.
"I can lift you over the barricade if you need." The other player spoke up, and your eyes immediately flitted over to Gavi's to gauge his reaction.
His eyebrows furrowed but he didn't say anything.
You debated for a second, just to get Gavi to react, but quickly decided against it, opting to just walk around the barricade.
You approached the two of them quickly and with a hasty goodbye followed Gavi as he left the pitch. You heard the other player shout a 'see you around', and you waved in response.
You broke the silence first as you walked the empty tunnel, "Great game baby. You did amazing."
"Thanks."
His reply was clipped.
He went to hold your hand and you shifted the jersey last second to your other hand, catching his attention.
"What's that?"
"Oh, that guy gave me his jersey. I'm going to sell it." You explained, telling him how you were expecting to make hundreds.
He listened along till you finished.
"Can I see the jersey?"
You nodded handing it to him.
You swung your joint hands as you walked, talking to him about the game as he examined the jersey.
Abruptly he dropped your hand, mouth set in a firm line.
Your eyebrows stitched together, "What's wrong?"
He cleared his throat before handing you the jersey.
"I think there's something for you on it."
"I forgot something in the locker room, I'll be right back." He continued.
You looked down confused, eyes scanning the text before it clicked.
The jersey had the player's phone number on it.
You lifted your head seeing him already walking away, "Gavi wait. Can you stop for a minute?"
He turned around but continued moving, "Yeah what?"
"Stop moving!” You exclaimed, your frustration building as he continued to not express any interest in the situation.
He finally halted and you closed the distance between the two of you.
"Is there something wrong with me? Do you not like me anymore or something?"
He seemed taken aback by your words and several emotions flitted across his face, "What are you talking about?"
You took a breath, it was now or never.
"I'm not trying to sound conceited, but I'm pretty sure that guy was hitting on me-"
"He was." Gavi confirmed.
You continued, "So then why don't you care? I'm your girlfriend, so why aren't you getting jealous when other guys hit on me?"
"You want me to get jealous?" He asked incredulously.
"I mean I don't want you to become super overprotective or anything, but it would be nice if you at least acknowledged when someone is trying to get with me right in front of you. I know I would get jealous if someone was saying that to you."
"You don't think I get jealous?" His voice had a hard edge to it, and suddenly you felt like you might have read between the lines wrong.
You shrugged your shoulders, unsure, "I mean you don't show it."
"Of course I'm going to notice when some guy is eye fucking my girl one foot away from me, I'm not fucking blind."
"Then why don't you say anything?" You pressed.
“Shit y/n that's cause I don't want to scare you away!"
His admission only confused you further, and you lowered your voice acutely aware that your shouts were probably carrying far in the quiet tunnel,
"Scare me away? Why would that scare me?"
He shook his head, "The press is always making me out to be this bad guy. This kid that doesn't know how to get his temper in check and - mierda y/n - I don't want to get into this right now."
You relented, unwilling to give in, biting the bullet, "Alright so next time someone asks to lift me up, their just being friendly right? Trying to be helpful?"
His eyes blazed, "That's not what I meant and you know it."
You lifted your hands in frustration, "No Gavi actually I don't know that. You act like you don't even care."
"I care! Trust me y/n I care!" He argued.
"Then show me."
His lips were on yours before you had even finished processing what you were saying. His skin felt hot against yours as his fingers sank into your hipbone, crowding you against the wall.
You lost your train of thought as you got lost in the sensation he provided you. One hand went to tangle in his hair, as the other draped around his neck bringing him impossibly closer.
One of his hands slipped under your shirt, as he kissed you senseless. You finally pulled away for a breath but he didn't stop, moving to lay a trail of kisses from the sweet spot behind your ear, down your neck, and onto your collarbone.
You left out a soft moan underneath him, the feeling causing tingles in your spine, and a fluttery feeling in your stomach.
"We should really sto- fuck gavi - so-someone could walk in any moment." You reminded him.
"Just gotta leave a mark." He replied.
You nodded before his words caught up to you and you pushed him off, "What? No marks! I have to meet your parents tonight." You whined.
He grinned, not looking the least bit apologetic, "At least people will know you're mine now."

Me After You (Pablo Gavi.)
A/N: This story is based from the song Me After You by Paul Kim. However, 'Me After You' also acknowledges the challenges that come with love. There are moments of misunderstanding and emotional pain, but these are met with a desire to overcome and grow together. It also expresses gratitude for their partner's patience and warmth, which have helped them become a better person. The song concludes with a hopeful note, and asks if their partner is also happy and expresses a desire to continue walking through life together. 😊
Gavi POV:
After I met you, everything changed in ways I couldn't have imagined. It was a fresh autumn day when our paths first crossed at a quaint café downtown. You were sitting by the window, lost in a book, a soft smile playing on your lips.
I remember being struck by how effortlessly beautiful you looked, the way your eyes lit up when you turned towards me as I approached.
"I'm Gavi," I managed to say, feeling a rush of nervous excitement.
You introduced yourself with a warmth that instantly put me at ease, and from that moment, our conversations flowed effortlessly. We talked about everything under the sun—our dreams, our fears, the little joys and sorrows that shaped our days.
It was during those early mornings, sharing breakfast at that same café, that I realized how much I looked forward to seeing you, to hearing your voice fill the air with laughter.
In the dazzling mornings, I found myself waking up with thoughts of you. Your smile became my motivation, your laughter my favorite melody.
Sitting face to face at our table, I'd eagerly ask about your day, hanging onto every word you said. And when you asked about mine, my heart would swell with happiness knowing that you cared.
As time passed, I marveled at how we grew accustomed to each other's quirks and habits. We developed our own inside jokes, our own rhythms that felt perfectly in sync.
I began to understand the depth of my feelings for you—the way I wanted to protect your happiness, to share in your successes, and to comfort you during your lows.
"I love you," I finally confessed one evening under the stars, my voice barely above a whisper. The way your eyes sparkled in response, filled with the same affection and devotion, was all the confirmation I needed.
Just like that peaceful moment, I knew I wanted to be with you forever.
There were challenges, of course. Moments when our words unintentionally caused hurt, or when misunderstandings briefly drove a wedge between us. Those times were agonizing because I couldn't bear the thought of us being distant.
I'd apologize, and you'd forgive, and together we'd reaffirm our commitment to understanding and supporting each other through it all.
"Even now, when I'm anxious," I admitted to you one rainy evening, "I only want to be with you."
We walked through seasons together—hot summers and rainy days, each moment etching itself into the tapestry of our shared journey.
With each passing day, I found myself falling deeper in love with you, cherishing every smile, every touch, every whispered "I love you."
And now, here we are, sitting across from each other, our fingers intertwined. As we gaze into each other's eyes, I think back to that first day at the café and realize how profoundly meeting you has changed my life.
You've embraced and understood my young, sometimes immature mind with a warmth that has healed and nurtured me in ways I never thought possible.
"After I met you," I whisper, my voice filled with gratitude and love, "I've been so incredibly happy."
"And I, too," you reply softly, your eyes reflecting the same depth of emotion.
"I thought about being with you forever the moment I met you."
We sit in comfortable silence for a while, the weight of our shared feelings hanging in the air like a promise.
It's during these quiet moments that I find myself marveling at the journey we've been on together—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
"Are you happy after meeting me, too?"
you suddenly ask, breaking the silence with a vulnerable honesty that warms my heart.
I take your hand in mine, gently tracing circles on your palm with my thumb.
"More than I could ever express," I reply sincerely.
"You've brought a joy into my life that I didn't know was possible."
You smile, a mixture of relief and adoration spreading across your face.
"I'm sorry that I have more that I couldn't give you," you confess softly.
"I've been selfish and unstable at times."
I shake my head gently, squeezing your hand reassuringly.
"You've given me everything I've ever needed," I assure you.
"Your love, your kindness, your unwavering support—it's more than I could have hoped for."
Your eyes glisten with unshed tears, reflecting the vulnerability of your confession.
"I think I found a perfect love that I've been waiting for a long time," you continue, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Because you held me and gave me energy, because you hugged me by being considerate lovingly, after I met you."
I pull you close, wrapping my arms around you in a comforting embrace.
"And I've loved every moment of being loved by you,"
I whisper back, my voice filled with gratitude.
As we sit there, embraced in each other's arms, I realize how lucky I am to have found you. Through the uncertainties and the challenges, our love has grown stronger, our bond deeper.
And in this moment, with your heartbeat against mine, I know that I want to spend forever with you.
"After I met you," I murmur softly against your ear,
"I knew my heart had found its home."
⚽⚽
Years passed, and our love continued to bloom, weaving its way through our lives like a gentle breeze on a summer's day.
The decision to marry came naturally, an unspoken agreement that our hearts had already made long before we voiced it aloud.
Surrounded by our closest friends and family, we stood together under a canopy of flowers, exchanging vows that resonated with the depth of our journey.
Your eyes shimmered with tears of joy as you promised to stand by my side through all that life may bring.
And as I spoke my vows, I felt a profound sense of gratitude knowing that I was promising my forever to the person who had become my everything.
The ceremony was filled with laughter, tears, and moments that seemed to suspend time itself.
In that magical space, we became husband and wife, sealing our union with a kiss that spoke volumes of our love and commitment.
As we danced together for the first time as married partners, I whispered in your ear, "After I met you, I knew my heart had found its home."
You smiled, your hand resting gently on mine, echoing the sentiment that had become the anthem of our love story.
And so, our journey continues, intertwined in a tapestry woven with laughter, tears, and the unwavering certainty that we are exactly where we are meant to be—side by side, hearts entwined, forever grateful for the day our paths crossed in that quaint café downtown.

Being compared and critics are killing you slowly
You grabbed your phone and put it on the dressing table to start a live.
You pressed the live button and made sure there was no filter since you didn't like it.
"Hi everyone, today I'm showing you my makeup routine!" you happily said while putting on your makeup headband
"You look gross without makeup."
"Thanks God she's not going to stay like this. Hopefully makeup will hide your ugliness."
You acted like you didn't read these comments, keeping your smile while you felt a small knot forming in your throat.
"A lot of you guys asked for my routine so here I am!" You started applying cream on your face
"The secret for a smooth skin is hydratation! Make sure to use some cream before doing your makeup and after taking it off."
"Absolutely no one asked but ok sure"
"Your own advice doesn't work on yourself. Your skin is horrible just like your big belly lmao"
You kept on laughing to the other nice comments but you couldn't ignore what they said.
"Are you and Gavi still together?" you read out lout while blending your concealer
"Of course we are! I never loved someone like him and- oh my, I'm so embarrassing" you cut yourself laughing at how easily you could talk about your love for your boyfriend
"Someone tell her to shut the fuck up"
"He could do better tbh. There are a lot of girls way prettier than her who could kill for him"
Your smile faded a little as you started overthinking about that one comment.
It wasn't even a lie. There's so many girls with perfect body, perfect smile, who doesn't need makeup to look like the future miss universe and yet, he still chose you.
You weren't that special, yes you were pretty but compared to all these girls.
Aww man, why can't I be perfect like them too?
"Are you okay? Why did you suddenly stop smiling and talking ?"
"Oh I'm sorry, my ADHD isn't helping me stay focused" you tried to hide your pain with some humor while you just wanted to disappear right now
"And then I add some mascara, I personally use the maybelline lash sensational sky high mascara, best mascara ever!" you said in a fake happy tone
"You look so fake. Gavi is probably dating you to use you for the medias or something."
"I don't understand, Adriana Falco is so much prettier than you. I hope Gavi dumps you for her."
That was it, you had enough, you felt tears forming and didn't wanted to cry in front of everyone like that.
"I'm sorry I gotta go, see ya" you quickly mumbled before ending the live as the tears and pain you held finally left your body
You started to cry harder and harder, remembering all the comments.
It wasn't the first time that people compared you and told you that you didn't deserved a guy like Pablo but you always let it slide and now all the accumulation was bursting out with your tears.
You took your head between your hands as your breath quickened at how hard you were crying, making your shoulders bounce while your whole body was shaking.
Well you knew that you wasn't attractive enough for a handsome boy like Pablo so you tried to hide it with humor.
Maybe you really don't deserve him, I mean, he's pretty, nice, famous, rich, funny, caring while you were quite the opposite.
You didn't even hear the door open and the boy throwing his bag as he rushed to hug you.
"Oh my God, y/n what's wrong?" he was standing next to you who was sitting which means you had your head against his abs, his arms around your shoulders hugging you tightly "I was gone for a hour and you were fine before I left, what happened?" he asked confused
You tried to speak but all you could get out of your mouth were sobs.
Pablo kissed your head as he softly stroked your back to comfort you, understanding that you couldn't speak.
"It doesn't even matter, come here" he gently picked you up bride style and made you lay on your mellow bed, putting the blanker on top of your body
"Wait a second"
He then disappear from the room, leaving you and your thoughts alone, you felt a little better thanks to him but not enough to stop crying.
He came back 2 mins later with a tray full of snacks and his grey sweater that you loved which he did too and never let you steal it from him.
He put the tray on the nightstand next to the bed and came next to you, giving you a small kiss on your wet cheek before handing you the piece of cloth you always wanted.
"Put it on, linda" you did as he asked, you immediately stopped crying as if you were a kid who would stop if you gave him a lollipop
Pablo noticed it too which made him chuckle before going under the blanket, pulling you against his warm body with his arm around your back so you're laying on top of him now.
You wrapped your arms around his torso while he put on your favorite movie.
He looked down at you, putting his hand on your right cheek, softly caressing it before he gave you a little kiss on your lips.
"Better?" he whispered as if he talked too loudly he would hurt you, you hummed in response and watched the start of the movie
"I love you, thanks for taking care of me" you
mumbled against his chest
"I will always take care of my favorite person" he softly smiled, followed by you, loving the nickname he gave you
"Pablo can I ask you something?" you broke the cute moment as you lifted your head to look at him in the eyes
"What is it hermosa?"
"Would you.. I mean do you really think that I'm pretty? Please be honest." you looked away, embarrassed as he was confused
"You're the prettiest girl on earth, of course you are" he said as if it was obvious
"But my body-"
"Your body is perfect the way it is" he cut you off
"There are girls that are prettier with a better body than mine though" you mumbled
He cupped your cheeks with his hands, forcing you to look at him. He had a serious face.
"Y/n I don't care about other girls, I only care about you and I know that you're the prettiest, nicest, most caring person and I have so many words to describe how perfect you are so stop comparing yourself to other girls. And if people try to convince you otherwise then they're jealous because they can't have what you got." he said in a calm yet serious voice
You felt a tear running down your cheek but this time, it was a happy tear.
He wiped it off with his thumb and connected your lips together in a soft and passionate kiss.
The kiss was delicate and you couldn't help but smile against his lips, happy to have him.
When you pulled out, you rested your head against his shoulder as his hands wrapped against your waist, pulling you even closer then you already were, a smile on his face, glad to have you as his girlfriend.
Funny how his words could impact you so much in a positive way.

•UPSET, pablo gavi
(not my gif)this is from my wattpad btw
IN WHICH, Pablo's girlfriend gets upset with his fan girls.
fluff
warnings:none, short
Pablo and Eliana's relationship was suprising to everyone. no one expected them to be together, but still loved their relationship.
Eliana was head over heels for her boyfriend. their relationship was perfect.
the one thing she hated was his fan girls.
Its not that she hated them, they just got a little out of control many times. at first, they weren't the biggest fans of the new couple. they eventually got used to it, but there was still that small amount that hated. especially on eliana.
what did pablo do about that ? nothing at first, he loved his supporters and he knew they loved him. untill he eventually noticed how rude they were to his girlfriend. he didnt like it at all. whenever he heard someone talk about Eliana, he would comfront them. Obviously they would shut up, the man was so serious about her.
"you know, you shouldn't care about what they say about you eli." pablo and Eliana were laying in bed. his chin was on her head while hers was on his chest. "i know... but they get to me you know? it's not like i can just ignore some girl telling me to back off her 'man'." Eliana was getting even more hate with the 13 year old girls.
"mi vida, you know i don't like what they say to you, but i guess they just never stop."
pablo always tried to distract her from the comments, most of the time it would work.
pablo pressed a small kiss to her hair and hugged her tightly.
"none of them will ever seperate us, you're stuck with me for good." pablo felt Eliana smile into his chest.
Even if they get hated on , you can never seperate true love.

❝ Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room? ❞

the gif is not mine!! credits to his owner
"How was school?" Isa turned around, looking at her mother, who was finishing preparing the meal.
"Well, I have a lot of homework for the weekend, but… I passed history!" he said excitedly, walking towards her to show her the photo he had taken of the exam that his teacher showed him hours before.
"Congratulations, darling!" He gave her two kisses, one on each cheek, with emotion and a small hug. "I'll take out the cake I bought the other day at the supermarket to celebrate, go up to wash your hands and call your father and your brothers."
"Okay, I'll be right back to help you with the table."
After going and showing his exam to his father, Isa washed his hands and went to his younger brothers' room, Leo, he was twelve, while Javi was eight, both were unruly, but Isa loved them very much.
"Dwarves, let's eat," he said, entering the room that the children shared. They were both playing play, they turned around, looked at her, and returned their gaze to the television, ignoring it greatly.
"Look at you, how cute." She walked to where the TV remote was located and turned it off.
"isa!" They both yelled, getting up from their place at the same time, she began to laugh as she ran down the stairs.
When she was about to get to the kitchen, Javi threw himself on her back and ended up knocking her to the ground, Leo didn't take long to arrive and between the two of them they began to tickle his sister. who just laughed and rolled around on the floor, trying to tickle them both too.
"Okay, children, I think Isa has already been punished, now help me with the table," said their mother, passing in front of them with the food.
And as two soldiers both got up and went to do what she asked, Isa got up from the ground with her hair in a mess and looked at them surprised with her arms crossed, her parents just laughed.
"I miss the time when they did everything I asked of them," he said, putting the glasses on the table.
"To think that you will be the one who has to take them and look for them at parties."
"But she never goes to a party," Leo said, his parents couldn't contain their laughter, the oldest opened her mouth offended, and then gave her brother a spanking.
🕸️☄️♡🪐
"well, isa, honey, how was school? some boy?"
"Oh yes, honey, tell us, do you already have a boyfriend? It's just that your boring mother doesn't tell us anything."
The girl looked at her aunts smiling awkwardly.
Why did family reunions always end like this?
"It's better not," said his uncle Javier this time.
being the first and only girl in the family had started to stop being fun as soon as she turned sixteen, with her aunts seeming desperate for even the slightest bit of information about her love life, her uncles and older cousins opposed to any amorous interaction. Well, they claimed that "at seventeen you're still too young to live those experiences" and Leo kept reminding her that she was lonelier than one, she didn't know if she wanted to get a boyfriend or not.
"Things are still the same as last week, and the week before, and the week before that." Isa joked, making some laugh.
"I think you should go out more," said one of her aunts.
"My friend Ramona has a son your age, he's lovely, Isa," said another, and they all nodded.
"Leave my little girl alone." Her grandmother left the kitchen and made her way to where Isa was, she kissed her head and took her hand. "Isa is a good girl, I'm sure it's hard to get to some guy worthy of her, but she will, and when she does, it will be her decision to share it with us… or not." She said this last thing looking at her daughters, they pretended to look elsewhere, which made Isa laughed.
"Thank you," she whispered to her grandmother, taking her hand.
"your welcome gorgeous."
The days passed, Isa hadn't left home because she was studying for her final exams, her friends wrote to her every weekend complaining about her absence when they went out to parties, but Isa promised to make it up to them as soon as the exams were over. they would go anywhere they wanted, and she couldn't complain or refuse under any circumstances.
"I think I'm beginning to regret this," she said, looking at the shirts her friends left on her bed.
Barcelona was a big city, there was no doubt about that, and that was why Isa wondered why of all the places they had to go (bars, museums, she was even willing to go to discos), her friends chose to go to the Camp Nou stadium.
she wasn't even a soccer fan.
"You'll see how much fun you're going to have, isa."
"Yes, girl, besides, the players are hot." She just rolled her eyes and laughed.
"what's my shirt?"
"We'll all wear the same one, it'll be better that way," said Aitana, one of her friends, smiling, as she put on hers.
"Who is Gavi?" Isa asked, looking at the name on the back of the shirt she would be wearing.
the five girls that were in the room turned to her.
"one of the players."
"Damn, Marta, girl, if you don't tell me I won't realize it." Isa said, making everyone laugh. "I mean, why are we all going to wear his shirt as if we were his proud aunts going to their first game?" .
"because we like it."
"Well, they'll meet him at home and at lunchtime, because it doesn't ring a bell to me," she said, making everyone laugh and start throwing pillows at her.
After finishing making up and dressing, they said goodbye to Isa's family, who couldn't help but laugh at the girl's face.
"Enjoy the game, darling," his father told him, mockingly.
Although he was somewhat surprised, being a great fan of Barcelona, he had tried to take her to a game after she grew up, thousands of times, but each time she found some excuse and got away, so seeing her dressed in the team's shirt and with cheeks painted in the colors of the club, I catch him a little off guard.
they took a taxi to the venue, once they arrived, showed their tickets, walked to their spots and sat down, the warm up wouldn't start until a few minutes later. Isa turned her head several times in search of a nearby bathroom, it had been a bad decision to drink all that Coca-Cola at home.
"girls, I'll be right back, I have to go to the bathroom."
"We would accompany you, but the warm-ups are about to start and we don't miss that for nothing, but if you get lost call me and I'll run."
"Okay, okay, don't worry, I'll be right back." Isa took her bag and got out of there as fast as she could.
A few minutes later she was washing her hands, she looked at herself in the mirror and couldn't help but laugh at herself, she did seem like an authentic and passionate fan, after fixing her hair she left the bathroom, she heard some screams for what she supposed was the game was about to start.
"shit."
Isa could already add going to the bathroom alone to the list of bad decisions of the day, she had a pretty good streak, but the day wasn't over yet. She knew she was only screwing up more when she went into a place that didn't sound familiar to her. It was at that moment that she decided to take her cell phone to call her friends.
"Okay, okay, I understand, don't worry, I love you."
She looked up from her phone to see a guy in front of her, wearing a white sweatshirt and a tracksuit with what looked like a Barcelona embroidery. That one must be a fan, he thought he could help her find the way out, bad decision.
As soon as he noticed her presence, he ran the back of his hand over his cheek, even so, Isa saw what seemed to be the trail of tears, the boy frowned and suddenly became serious.
"You shouldn't be here," he said, with a cold tone, looking her up and down.
"Are you okay?" Isa asked, completely forgetting what her real intention was when approaching the boy.
"I don't go around telling my life to the first fan that comes my way."
That answer took her by surprise, she couldn't help but giggle.
"Fan? Who the hell do you think you are, man? I was just trying to be nice, fuck you."
She turned and heard him laugh behind her, she turned angrily.
"what?"
"Did you really think I wouldn't notice?" when you want someone not to know that you are their fan, better not wear their jersey to their game. "
then everything connected in his brain.
she knew she shouldn't wear that shitty shirt, it had been a bad decision, just as it had been a bad decision not to ask her friends to show her at least one photo of this gavi, who really was an asshole.
"Oh, so you're the famous gavi. Damn, you have to see that my friends only look at jerks." She said, as soon as she realized her words she covered her mouth.
He crossed his arms and a hint of what could be a smile appeared on his face.
"I'm not usually such a jerk, sorry, I thought you were some crazy person who snuck in to get information for the press. Also, this game is very important, I'm too nervous, my sister and parents are supposed to come, but They just called to tell me that they won't be able to be there." He sat on one of the benches in the place and began to put on his shoes.
"For someone who thought I was a freak looking for information for the press, I think you just told me a lot, didn't you? That sounds like a good headline." Isa joked, making him laugh. "You're going to do great, you'll see, and your parents and your sister will be very happy."
"How are you so sure? Unless you're a fucking actress, it seemed to me that until a few minutes ago you had no fucking idea of my existence."
"Because when I left the house with this shirt my father didn't say anything bad about you, so you must be good." She said, making him smile, while he put on his own shirt, Isa blushed, but since he didn't seem affected, She didn't want to be either. "If it makes you feel better, I can be your mother and scream until the whole stadium hears me." He denied smiling.
"I would like to see that. "
"No way, I was just saying that so you'd stop whining and go kick the other team's asses."
he laughed out loud.
"thanks for the honesty…"
"I'm Isabel, but better call me Isa."
"isa." he got up from his place and she smiled watching him fix his hair with his hand. "okay isa, I'll get you out of here before someone finds you and kicks you out of the stadium."
"That would be great, my friends probably think I went home."
They both walked to that exit that Isa remembered.
"Thank you very much for not being the jerk I thought."
"Thank you very much for not being the crazy information seeker I thought." They both smiled, he waved at her and went in the opposite direction.
"enjoy the match!"
"We'll see!" He smiled hearing her laugh.
As soon as she got to her place, she found her friends looking carefully towards the field, where most of the players were warming up, she couldn't help but laugh, they hadn't even realized how much time had passed.
"damn, isa, what a scare girl, we said that if you didn't arrive in ten minutes we would come for you"
"Ten minutes each?" she teased, making everyone laugh.
"Fuck! Shut up, here comes Gavi."
Isa directed her gaze to the field, where the boy was, he seemed lost, looking among the public, when he looked at the area where she was, the girl laughed, he smiled.
"Girls, girls, he's seen us."
"fuck, just see, he smiled at me."
"Does it look to me like someone smoked something before coming in."
they all started to fight, which only made isa laugh more, gavi seemed confused, she put her finger to her lip making a gesture of silence, which made him laugh, until his friends arrived and took him to where the the rest.
The rest of the first half was calm, sometimes Gavi and Isa exchanged quick sights, although she had been avoiding doing so, because of the feeling that appeared in her chest every time they did it, but when in the second half Gavi scored a goal, and her celebration was to make an I with her hand, Isa knew that she had screwed up.
"How was the game?" asked his father.
"Pretty good, they won three to zero." Isa said, sitting next to him on the sofa.
"I saw it, how weird is that new guy celebration? Gavi?"
"gavi?"
"daughter, you're wearing his shirt."
"Look, well, it doesn't sound like anything to me." I'm going to do homework, I love you." She kissed him on the cheek and went up to her room.
"A family dinner?" Gavi asked, laughing.
"Yes, annoying, my aunts insist on having dinners every two weeks to catch up on my sentimental situation and see how to make her happier." She said, putting on her earrings.
"I want to go with you."
Isa almost fell to the ground, she put the earring aside and looked at the screen of her phone where Gavi was smiling.
"Are you crazy? Why?" Isa asked, going back to what she was doing before.
After the match in which they met, Isa's father found a way to convince the whole family to go to Barcelona's next game, and as if fate was infatuated with Isa, she and Gavi met again, the The boy wasted no time, he asked her for her number, and since that day they had been meeting and talking all the time.
"If I heard correctly, you said that these are dinners to talk about your love situation, right?" She laughed and nodded. "Well, I'd like to go to get an idea of who I have as rivals." She rolled her eyes.
"you are a fool."
"Are you going to give me the address or do I ask for the uber directly to your house?"
"gavi?"
"Yeah?"
"You're kidding, aren't you?"
"Honestly… not a bit, so… can I go?"
"Just because I know you're not going to drop the subject."
"Okay, see you in fifteen minutes, honey."
He finished the call and left her there smiling like a fool.
"You've never brought a boy home, have you?" "asked Gavi, Isa couldn't help but laugh, nodding her head." I think you should have mentioned it. "
"I wasn't the annoying one who wanted to come."
"I don't regret it, besides, I'm glad to be the first." the whisper near her lips.
"Fuck, Isa, you have to be kidding."
"I wish."
"Did he kiss you in front of your whole family?" Isa nodded, laughing and feeling the blush rise to her cheeks.
"The guy has balls, I'm not going to deny it."
They all started making fun of her, although just a few seconds later they were screaming and saying how much they wanted a boy like Gavi.
"Are you going to the game tomorrow?" Gavi asked looking at her.
"depends."
"about what?"
"Do you want me to go to the game tomorrow?"
"I'm dying for you to do it." Isa laughed and caressed his cheek, they were both lying on the carpet in their room.
"shit, it's midnight. today xavi kills you"
"It'll be worth it," he said, kissed her and went to the door. "See you tomorrow, sweetie."

✭ RELEASING ANGER: GAVI
Authors note: first time ever writing smut… don’t know if I really fw it tbh but it’s alright🤷♀️
Warnings: smut! unprotected sex, dry humping, cursing. lmk if I should include more
…
“No.” You shake your head, a look of disbelief at the judge’s decision. “What the fuck is he doing!”
Your boyfriend seems equally as mad from his crouched position on the pitch. A hand comes to harshly bang against the grass, his head thrown back in pure anger. Gavi is mad, and rightfully so.
When the Barcelona player and the opposing team fought for the ball, you knew something would happen. The other player had harshly tugged on Gavi’s jersey, sending the 18-year-old flying back into the player. Gavi’s elbow made contact with the other guy’s neck, a result of the other person’s own actions.
As the guy fell to the grass, hands at his neck with what looked like faux pain, you were confident the judge would realise it was all fake. What you, alongside everyone else hadn’t seen coming was Gavi, Barcelona’s golden boy, getting a red card.
Cries of outrage drowned out your boyfriend cussing the judge out. You weren’t doing much better, feeling your face heat up at the unfairness. Well, you didn’t know much about football, but to you, this seemed so wrong. It might’ve been slightly because it was your boyfriend on the receiving end of this “injustice”
Either way, you watched with wide eyes as your boyfriend got up from the grass, body stiff as he pushed away anyone that even came near him. Pedri tried to calm him down, not wanting the already bad situation to escalate. Gavi had none of that, and chose to not listen to anyone, not even his best friend.
Even Xavi, who was always the first one to reprimand Gavi let him be as the teenager stormed away, disappearing into the tunnel. Choosing to take action, you get up from your seat, excusing yourself from the people you had been in conversation with earlier. You make your way to the changing rooms, looking for your favourite player.
He doesn’t even look up when the door opens, legs tapping against the floor in rapid movements as his hands come to roughly push back his hair. “Amor.” You call out, watching as he looks up. Unlike usual, his gaze doesn’t soften once seeing your face, instead his eyes get colder.
“You saw what that fucking dick did.” His tone isn’t questioning, instead, he says it like it’s something you should agree with. Believing it’s best to agree with him, you nod.
“I saw, baby. It was so unfair.” Your words do nothing to ease his emotions, and a sarcastic laugh is all he answers with. Not knowing what to do, you step closer to him, feeling as if the distance between you did nothing good. As if it’s on reflex, Gavi opens up his arms, welcoming you to sit on his lap. “What can I do to make it better?”
The footballer looks up at you through his long lashes as you sit sideways on his lap. Your fingers brush the hair out of his face, as he seems to ponder on your request.
“Anything?” He questions, slyness coating his words, but you nod either way.
“Anything for you.” For the first time since the situation on the pitch, a smile graces his face. Gavi starts to rub at your back, hands sliding under your jersey as they make contact with your skin. It’s innocent until the movements start to trail in other directions. “Pablo.” Is all you can say as his cold hands brushes against the underside of your boob, your bra getting pulled up a little.
“You said anything, right?” His words are mere whispers as his lips make contact with your collarbone. Your position gives him access to your neck, and he takes his sweet time kissing and sucking at your skin. “Let me.”
You look around. In the locker room during a game was risky, anyone could step in at any moment and catch you guys first hand. But then again, if this was what he needed to relieve his tension, you would gladly contribute. “Fast.”
The second that leaves your mouth, the athlete is ready. His hands grip at your hips as he gives your chest area all his attention. To get more comfortable, you sling your leg over his, now straddling his lap. Something solid brushes against your ass, and you quickly take notice of the growing budge in your boyfriends pants.
In a need to relieve some tension, you start to move your body in rhythmical movements on him. His groan of pleasure encourages you to keep going as he now pulls at your shirt. Pulling it over your body, you throw it away from you, leaning towards Gavi to press his lips to yours, your movements against him never stopping.
His kisses are rough, but so are his hands that slides your hips over his bulge. Dragging his mouth across your chin, Gavi bites at your ear. “Off.” He demands, pulling at your pants. You nod eagerly, doing as he says while the boy himself, rids himself of his shorts, leaving him only in his boxer.
Now both in your underwear, you start to grind your hips against his again, lips connecting roughly. Your whimpers of his name does nothing to tame the growing problem under you, and after a few minutes of making out in your underwear, Gavi roughly pulls it off.
“Please.” You beg. There’s no need, you can easily see where this was going, but you were desperate for him to fill you up. Right now.
“Patience, Princesa.” Gavi drowns out your protests as he pulls down the last thing separating the two of you. His lips are quick to connects to your exposed cleavage and without warning he slides you into him. The feeling of him in you is something that you could never describe with simple words. It felt like everything was missing til his body mingled with yours, making you feel whole.
“Fuck!” You moan loudly, the pain of him stretching you out not turning into pleasure just yet. Gavi has no care for that as he snaps his hips into yours, trying to hit as deep as he could before pulling back out to repeat it all over again. Once you finally feel yourself getting accustomed to the situation, your painful shouts turn sexual.
The sounds coming from the two of you are pornographic, your loud and careless whines alongside his strained groans describing the pleasure the two of you were experiencing.
You push your hair back as you put your whole body into keeping up with the athlete under you. Gavi was one that could keep going for hours, his stamina as a footballer aiding him. Usually you could go for a while as well, but the work of being on top was becoming unbearable.
“It’s too much.” Your body slouches against his as it all gets exactly too much. Him in you, the kisses he’s littering everywhere alongside your own rapid movements. The pleasure could send you into a coma and you wouldn’t be surprised.
“Take it.” He simply states, now pounding into you in a harder pace.
“I can’t.” You cry out, eyes filling with tears at how good he was doing you. Gavi pushes your face out of his neck with a firm hand on your throat. His eyes bore into yours.
“You can and you will.” His lips silences your loud moan as he hits a particular deep spot inside you, his hips snapping against yours harshly. The knot in your stomach which you’ve tried to ignore becomes the only thing you can focus on as your boyfriend fuckes you senseless.
You can’t even make out words through your pants, only managing to sigh against his mouth, your pussy squeezing around his length in warning. Seemingly understanding, a look of pride crosses his face at this.
“You’ve been so good, princesa.” He praises you, knowing that would tip you off the edge. And that it did. Your hands around his neck, claw at his back as you drown out your moans into his neck. Gavi fuckes you through your high, only letting himself go ones you’ve finished.
The boy slowly pulls out of you, wincing as his sensitive dick pushed out of your warm walls. You feel an emptiness at his movements, but quickly forget about it as you’re still in your high, a sick smile on your face.
You lean back agains the wall, watching as your boyfriend pulls his shorts on again, before turning to you. His eyes which ones were cold and furious, much more calmer now. His lips connect with your heated up cheek, showing his gratitude through affection.
“Wow.” Is all he says as he too, leans back to take a moment to relax.

idk if i already sent an request but could u write a fluff about gavi?
after a badgame, he gets yelled at by xavi and it somehow really gets to him so when he gets home he practically breaksdown in readers lap and like hugs her waist?
unwavering support - Pablo Gavi
Thank you for requesting! Hope you like it <3
Pairings: Pablogavi x reader
Fluff
Pablo stumbled home, his spirits crushed after a particularly rough game. The weight of Xavi's harsh words still echoed in his mind, haunting him with self-doubt. As he entered the house, he saw Y/N, sitting on the couch, engrossed in a book.
“Hey, I saw the game” y/n whispered sadly
Unable to contain his emotions any longer, Pablo practically collapsed into Y/N's lap, burying his face in her waist as tears streamed down his cheeks. Y/N's heart ached at the sight of his distress, instantly put her book aside and gently ran her fingers through his hair.
“Pablo, what happened? You’re shaking. Come here, love.”
Pablo clung onto Y/N, seeking solace in her warmth.
“Xavi… Xavi was so hard on me today. He yelled at me in front of everyone and said I was useless. Maybe he’s right. Maybe I’m just not cut out for this.”
Y/N’s eyes filled with empathy as she cradled Pablo in her arms, offering him a safe space to let out his frustrations.
“Pablo, listen to me. You are talented, passionate, and dedicated to that sport. Sometimes coaches get caught up in the heat of the moment and say things they don’t truly mean. It doesn’t define who you are as a player or as a person.”
Pablo’s grip on Y/N tightened as he let out a heavy sigh.
“I know, but it’s hard to shake off those words, you know? I’ve been working so hard, and it feels like I’ve let everyone down.”
“Hey, stop. You haven’t let anyone down, Pablo. Football is like this – you either win or you lose. I believe in you, and so does your team.”
Pablo’s tears began to subside, replaced by a glimmer of hope sparked by Y/N’s unwavering support.
“Te amo, thank you for everything,” Pablo whispered, placing his forehead against Y/N’s.
Y/N smiled softly. Leaning in, she closed the distance between them, their lips meeting in a tender, heartfelt kiss.
Time seemed to stand still as their connection deepened, their lips moving in sync with one another. In that moment, all worries and doubts melted away, leaving only the warmth of their embrace. It was a kiss filled with understanding, comfort, and unwavering support.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t make it today,” Y/N said, gently pulling away from their kiss.
“It’s okay,” Pablo replied with a warm smile, his arms still wrapped around her. They settled comfortably on the couch, finding solace in each other’s presence.
“I’m with you right now, and that’s all that matters,” Pablo whispered, his voice filled with reassurance and love. Y/N’s heart fluttered at his words, feeling a sense of peace wash over her.

Masterlist
It was the fourth Tuesday in a row that you ate alone in your apartment. The fourth time Gavi had skipped out on your plans last minute, sending a quick half-hearted text about one event or the other.
The first time it was because Coach had asked Gavi to stay after practice, keen on teaching him the perfect one-touch shot. Then it was a missed dinner because Jordi Alba had invited him out with some other players, and he just couldn’t say no, because he was finally starting to feel like a part of the family - like the older players had finally started to respect him.
Of course you hadn’t minded the first few times, he had been apologetic enough, promising you that he would be there next time, but each next time took on the next week, and soon the prospect of next time didn’t hold as much meaning anymore. You were accustomed to reading those words by now, and you rarely took time to read over the dwindling text messages anymore, eyes only scanning for those two words, the ones that had become a staple in your relationship.
Next time.
Next time you would cook dinner for him and he would be there to eat it. Next time he would tell you he loved you in person, rather than getting an impassive ‘sorry cariño’. The thought of next time, which once seemed like a lifeline to you, had become a dull reminder of the boy who was just on the other side of the city, only a measly train ride separating you both. Yet the distance seemed much greater.
But now the football season was drawing to a close, and instead of being excited at the notion of having more time to spend together, you felt uneasy and on edge, almost as if you were waiting for the other shoe to drop, something to come up, making the distance between the two of you that much more tangible.
You felt your phone buzz next to you and your eyes unintentionally went to the clock.
9:45 pm.
The texts were getting later and later each time.
You already knew what awaited you, but you couldn’t help but scan the message regardless.
“Can’t come tonight, only have a few days till the season ends and the guys wanna make the most of it. Be there next time. Noche.”
There it was again, that unexplainable feeling in your chest, like your heart was always one step ahead of your brain, preparing for the loss of something that hadn’t yet left. Your mind was an incomprehensible mess, a jumble of contrasting thoughts and memories, forcing you to overthink situations and undervalue your emotions.
You lifted your head watching your roommate land with a thump on the couch beside you, “He canceled again, didn’t he?”
You opened your mouth, an excuse on the tip of your tongue.
She held up her hand, “Don’t try to defend him. He knows it isn’t fair.”
You avoided her gaze, “You don’t get it. He’s really in demand and-”
“It doesn’t matter that he’s famous or a professional athlete, that doesn’t discredit his actions, or put the blame on anyone but him.”
She continued, “Look Gavi’s a good guy, I like him,” you stared at her, “I do! But he’s stupid if he doesn’t realize that he’s losing you. I know you, and while you might make excuses for him now, I know that sooner or later you’re going to notice that he hasn’t been treating you like you deserve, and you’ll be smart enough to leave.”
You felt the impact of her words full force, like a sledgehammer beating into your body. All the signs were there, right in front of your face, and you had been turning a blind eye, not wanting to admit what your heart already knew.
You knew it. The distance you had felt hadn’t been in vain – every day you could feel the connection between the two of you chip away, so small, you wouldn’t think to notice it till you stood back and looked at the bigger picture.
As a result of both your busy schedules, you both had come up with the idea of having Tuesday night, the most boring day of the week as agreed on, reserved for just the two of you. On Tuesday you didn’t have classes that ran well past dinner time or have to pick up late-night shifts at the restaurant, and he didn’t have evening practice. It was perfect. Tuesday was yours.
Except it had been four weeks since you’d had a proper conversation with Gavi, and you couldn’t help but see the difference in your relationship when you first got together, both eager and determined to spend as much time together as possible, to now, where even if you attended his games, you two still managed to get away without speaking.
You shook your head, “I-I need to take a walk.”
She reached over placing a hand on your shoulder, “Y/n. I’m sorry-”
You shook it off, standing up, “No it’s ok, it’s not your fault. I just need to clear my head.”
You felt the cool night breeze hit you as you walked the streets of Barcelona. It was unusually quiet in this part of town, the lights from the main strip didn’t reach this far out, and for a moment the quiet reminded you of your hometown.
If you closed your eyes, it was almost like you were fifteen again, back in your childhood bedroom, before the ideas of pretty boys with big brown eyes and the weight of managing both university and a job plagued all your thoughts.
You reached a lookout point, the top of the hill dropping to show you the expansive city below. You stared out, the buildings looked so small up here, barely more than a glowing dot in the dark, the cars a blur of soft yellow. You wondered which tiny dot Gavi was in. You wondered if he had checked his phone, seeing that you hadn’t texted him back like you usually did. You wondered if he even cared.
You shook your head trying to get rid of the unwanted thoughts.
Your relationship with Gavi was good. He made you laugh like nobody else, whispering secrets in each other’s ears like schoolchildren, making forts out of old sheets in his childhood bedroom when you met his family for the first time. You remembered his sweet smile, the way his eyes would crinkle unintentionally when he couldn’t hold back his excitement or happiness. You remembered confiding in him about school, how you were so stressed because you couldn’t manage eighteen credits while simultaneously holding a job that required you to be on your feet for hours at a time. You could still feel the soft caress of his hand, as he squeezed yours, providing you comfort, cracking a badly executed joke here and there just to get you to smile while listing a hundred reasons why if anyone could do it, it would be you.
So, if he made you feel all those things, why did his absence make you feel so tiny, so insignificant?
Your finger hovered over the call button, and you hit it hesitantly.
You just wanted to hear his voice.
That would be enough.
It rang seven times before the line went dead.
It took you a moment to realize you hadn’t put your phone up to your ear, waiting with bated breath for the timer on the screen to start, indicating he had picked up, but it never did.
You stuffed your phone back into your pocket, the same unsteady feeling in your heart strumming.
Once.
Twice.
Then it was gone.
You came home to a quiet apartment and your roommate already asleep.
You shuffled into your room silently, you would give it one more week you decided. Next time would be the last.
The next week came, and while it was the first week Gavi had off from training, he had already planned to go to Ibiza to attend a music festival with his hometown friends. He had invited you, but it was more of an afterthought, and you couldn’t find it in yourself to go because of rushed ‘you can come if you want’ and a barely there apology so you left it.
You got an ‘I’ll miss you’ text from him and for a moment it made you smile, filling you with warmth. However, an ‘I miss you’ only did so much, and other than his sweet messages, there was really no intent behind his words.
Now it had been two days since Gavi had gotten back from his Ibiza trip, and you couldn’t hide the surprise on your face when you glanced over and saw a Facetime call from Gavi.
When was the last time the two of you had Facetimed? Maybe two months ago? It was much easier to send a text, the times both of you were free were few and far between.
You answered the call, pushing your textbook to the side. The dark grey interior of Gavi’s car greeted you.
“Hello?” You asked.
“Hey, Y/n long time no talk.” Gavi joked, but you felt your stomach flip at the truth behind his words.
“I can’t see you.” You said.
“Oh shit, did I accidentally Facetime? My bad I told Siri to call and she must have Facetimed instead. Let me call you.”
You went to speak but heard the three beeps indicating the call had been cut.
You heard the phone ring again and bit back a sigh. You just wanted to see his face.
You answered on the second ring.
“Hey sorry about that. I wanted to call and tell you that I’m back from Ibiza.”
“Yeah, I know.” You admitted, “I remembered.”
There was a beat of silence.
“Well, anyways I wanted to ask you to come with me to the Spanish football gala tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?”
You heard some shuffling and suddenly Gavi’s voice was much clearer and closer to the phone. You assumed he took it off speaker.
“Can you not come?”
You hesitated, “Uhm I’m not sure. It’s so last minute and I’m already scheduled at the restaurant tomorrow.”
“Can’t you just take off?” He persisted.
You felt your brow furrow, “I’m already on the schedule, I can’t just decide to take off the day before, I need to find someone to replace me.”
“Ok, tell whoever that I’ll sign a jersey for them if they do.”
You suddenly felt angry. Why did he think that you could only get a day off work if he helped you out? Were you not capable of handling your own situations? You hated feeling like this, like you weren’t even your own person, just a shadow of who you were with.
“No that’s fine. I’ll just take off like you said, simple.” You couldn’t help but let the bitterness seep into your voice.
He went to say something, probably sensing the shift in your mood, but you cut him off, “I have to go. Bye Gavi.”
You hung up before he could respond.
Finding someone to replace your shift was easier said than done, but after some back and forth, and a promise to Marcus to cover his next two shifts, you were free.
Free to prance around in a hall filled with people you barely knew, with a boy who you thought about more in your memories than you saw in real life.
The night of the gala arrived, and you were decked out, wearing the earrings Gavi had gifted you for your one-year anniversary paired with a necklace you had received after graduating high school.
Gavi had originally said he would pick you up but had sent a quick text earlier in the morning explaining that the team was getting ready together at a hotel, and to just meet him at the venue.
Your roommate had agreed to drive you and you gave her a grateful smile as you got in the car.
“Ana thank you for taking me.”
She brushed the comment off playfully, “No problem. Gotta step up when Gavi steps down.”
You let out a short laugh, “My hero.”
You got to the venue a couple of minutes before you had planned to meet Gavi and nervously walked around, staying out of the path of cameras.
You found someone to take you to a tent where some Barca staff were waiting for the players to start the program.
You walked in, a surprised look taking over your face once you noticed Pedri and a few other players in the corner.
You weren’t aware that some of the players from the hotel had arrived yet.
Pedri noticed your entrance and came over to say hello.
You gave him a quick hug, making casual small talk.
Just ask him, a voice in the back of your head urged.
Finally, you bit the bullet, attempting to sound as casual as possible, “How did you guys get here so early? I thought everyone was leaving the hotel at 6.”
“Ehh, it wasn’t that important, so I skipped it. Half the guys didn’t go anyway, and the other half just went to play FIFA. Besides I beat them every time, so it gets a little boring after a while.”
You tried to laugh at his joke, but could only manage a watery smile, mind running a mile a minute.
So Gavi hadn’t actually needed to go but chose to.
Leaving you alone.
Again.
It wasn’t a big deal by itself. But it was the fact that this was just another item you could add to your ever-growing list of things Gavi cared about more than you. You wondered briefly if you had been wrong, and if he had missed some other event to be there with you, only to remind yourself that you hadn’t seen him in a month, so no, he hadn’t.
You were still grappling with your emotions when Gavi arrived, unsure whether to confront him or just let this be another thing you swept under the rug.
Your reunion, if you could even call it that, was lackluster at best. He had walked in with some of his teammates, immediately going to greet the rest of his team, completely ignoring you standing on the right side of the room with Pedri.
It was only once he asked where Pedri was that someone pointed the two of you out.
You felt your body deflate; he hadn’t even asked for you.
Were you overthinking things again? Maybe he had just forgotten in the excitement of seeing his whole team for the first time after the season ended?
Gavi made his way over to the two of you, reaching out to Pedri first. You watched as they exchanged a hug before Gavi’s eyes floated over to yours.
“Hey.” His voice was casual, like he was greeting a mailman, or thanking the cashier.
“Hi.”
You closed the space, attempting to hug him, but he grabbed your shoulders stopping you, looking down.
You followed his gaze.
“I don’t want to wrinkle the dress.”
You felt your heart thud against your chest, and while you knew he only had good intentions, the rejection still stung.
You stepped out of his embrace, watching his hands drop to his sides, “Okay.”
The carpet went by in a blur, you posed with Gavi for a few photos before moving to the side and letting him enjoy the spotlight, he had worked hard for it. You took a couple of photos with some of the other teammate's girlfriends and wives before you headed inside.
Once inside, there was still some time left before the actual dinner portion of the gala started. The gala was held for all Spanish football clubs as a celebration of their hard work during the season. It was also a great event to network, giving players the ability to talk with different coaches and directors they otherwise might not have gotten the chance to, allowing for discussions of thinly veiled preseason transfers to commence without the fear of unwanted ears listening in.
You found Gavi in the crowd quickly, linking your arm with his. He looked over at you, a smile taking over his features once he noticed you.
“Glad you found me.”
You noticed with great relief that his eyes still crinkled in the corners when he looked at you,
“I always do.”
The next however many minutes spent till dinner service started comprised of Gavi talking with various different players and directors as you stood like a shiny accessory off his arm, too insignificant to be acknowledged in conversation.
The call for dinner provided you solace from the repetitive conversations and mundane questions. You took a seat next to Gavi and were confused to find both Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann seated at your table.
You leaned into Gavi, “I thought the clubs sat together?”
“Me too. I think they’re doing alphabetical tonight though.” He whispered.
“Which one’s your least favorite?” You looked up shocked at Gavi’s question, watching a boyish grin take over his features as he tried to hide his laugh, interlacing your fingers on your lap.
You shoved into him lightly, “They’re sitting right there!”
He leaned in closer, nose softly grazing your ear as he spoke, “Yeah but between me and you, I think Joao could have had a better season in Chelsea.”
You shook your head in disbelief, fighting back the smile that was threatening to spill out. Your eyes caught his and for a second it seemed like you had been transported back in time, back to when these types of moments were the standard not the exception, back when it felt like you were on each other sides, back when laughter was the antidote instead of tense silences filled with awkward hello’s.
His eyebrow lifted ask if to ask if you agreed with him, and a small murmur of agreement from you was all he needed before he opened his mouth, ready to hammer his point home, but his attention switched last second.
It was like you could visibly see the shift in his demeanor. First, it was his eyes glancing past yours, seeing the midfielder approaching. Then it was the subtle grip on your hand loosening, his fingers slipping through the gaps. Next, it was the complete shift in body, his posture straightening as he leaned his body away from yours, position shifting to face Pedri who had sat in the spot next to him.
To his credit, Pedri acknowledged the both of you but it was clear Gavi paid no mind to you, not evening sparing you a glance as he became immersed in a conversation with Pedri.
You tried to pretend it didn’t affect you and while you could lie to everyone else, you couldn’t lie to yourself. You had built up this evening up so much in your head, telling yourself that tonight would be the shifting point in your relationship and that everything would go back to the way it once was, but it was shaping up to be another Tuesday you had become all too familiar with.
Why did it feel like you were always competing for his attention?
Your mind was reeling, all the small actions Gavi did that you kept pushing aside, were floating back to the surface, each little remark or dismissal a little tug on your heartstrings till you were sure that if you stayed at the table a for a moment longer you wouldn’t be able to stop the onslaught of tears quickly approaching.
You stood from the table abruptly, catching a few people’s attention, but you gave them a polite smile, or at least you hoped it had been polite, you couldn’t focus on anything but the stinging in your eyes and the sinking feeling in your stomach.
You swiftly walked towards the restroom, glancing over your shoulder to see if anyone had noticed but your eyes fell on Gavi’s form. He hadn’t even bothered turning around.
Of course, he hadn’t.
Somehow that hurt more than anything else.
You were immensely grateful for the single-use restroom as you locked yourself in, shaky hands coming to steady yourself on the sink.
Don’t cry. Don’t cry.
You were internally screaming at yourself, begging yourself to keep yourself together but the feeling was too overwhelming and before you could stop you felt the first tears slip down. Your shoulders shook as you forced yourself to be silent, embarrassed about someone walking by and overhearing you pitying yourself.
One hand covered your mouth as you muffled your sobs, while the other dug into the stupid marble sink until the skin was pink and indented. The pain acted as a distraction from the unbearable pressure in your chest, and you instinctively pushed your hand harder into the sink.
Your fingers felt numb as you slowly removed them, closing your eyes to steady yourself. It was obvious that you weren’t in the best mental state, but you couldn’t exactly sit in the bathroom for the next hour to sort it out. You had to clean yourself up and go back to pretending.
Yes, pretending, you realized, was exactly what you had been doing. This whole night you had been pretending, pretending everything was okay, pretending that your relationship was fine when in truth you couldn’t even remember what Gavi’s laugh sounded like.
When had it become all pretend?
Was there anything left here? Were your best years behind you both?
These unanswered questions haunted you as you calmed yourself down, wrapping around you like a blanket, one that provided you no comfort but rather a feeling of suffocation.
Finally, your eyes had dried, and the redness had faded significantly. You had gotten your breathing under control, and you felt a little lighter having stopped denying what had been plaguing your mind for weeks now.
You took one final glance in the mirror, smoothing out your dress as you exited the restroom.
You walked slowly back to the table. You had decided that if you could just get through tonight, go home, and cry and think some more, then by tomorrow morning you would be able to talk to Gavi and decide what to do.
But that plan had flown out the window when you arrived back at the table to a confused Gavi.
It seemed he had finally noticed your absence.
“Where did you go? They served dinner 15 minutes ago.”
“I had to use the restroom.”
“For 15 minutes?”
“There was a queue.” You lied.
He seemed to accept your answer and you chose to focus on your food rather than him.
You were halfway through your meal when you noticed Gavi giving you a double take from the corner of your eye.
“Your eyes are red.” He spoke in a hushed voice.
“I don’t know why.”
“Are you sure?” His attention was beginning to slip again, eyes darting back between you and Pedri.
“Yes, I’m fine.” You heard your voice waver on the last syllable, a tick you had when you were lying, and Gavi immediately picked up on it, facing you fully.
“What’s wrong?”
You shook your head not wanting to get into everything here.
“I’m ok.”
“You’re not.”
“Gavi.” You warned.
“What happened? Did someone say something?”
“No. Just drop it please.” Your voice had gone soft, tired of defending yourself.
“Y/n just tell me, I’ll help.” He urged.
You stayed quiet.
“What’s wrong?” He asked again, adamant to get an answer.
You felt yourself grow annoyed, why couldn’t he just let it go? Why was he suddenly interested in how you felt? You were just trying to protect what little left the two of you had and he seemed intent on destroying it.
“It’s you.”
He looked taken aback, eyes pooling with hurt and confusion, his body slightly deflating, “W-what?”
The moment was interrupted when the announcer took over the stage, beginning the presentation for the night, highlighting a few key players and matches.
You looked away first, turning to face the stage, clapping along, acting as though you couldn’t feel Gavi’s gaze burning into your back as he desperately tried to get your attention.
Once the presentation was over you were quick to excuse yourself, using the pretense of going to get a drink as a getaway.
You held your breath as you walked, praying Gavi wouldn’t follow you, and while he got up immediately once he noticed, he was quickly interrupted by another player coming to congratulate him, allowing you to slip away while he watched helplessly.
You let out a huff, leaning against the bar trying to slow your heartbeat.
“Long day?”
You looked over to see Joao standing next to you, watching as the bartender poured his drink.
“Something like that.”
He nodded, “Me too. Been a long couple of days actually.”
You smiled, “Actually, it’s been a long couple of weeks.”
He turned his head to look at you, “I take it back. It’s actually been a long couple of months.”
You raised your hand in mock surrender, “Ok I can’t beat that.”
He grinned, “Yeah not many people can.”
Your expression matched his own, and you gave your order to the bartender before turning to face him again, “So how’s the season been?”
“Shit. Honestly, I’m not even sure why I’m here I played for Chelsea this season not Athletico.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his abruptness.
“Yeah, I saw your first game. A red card first match is pretty brutal.”
His grin only widened, “Oh keeping tabs are we?”
You gave him a playful glare, “Of course gotta know how Barca’s competition is doing.”
“Oh, so you’re a Barca girl?”
“Since the day I was born.” You revealed proudly.
And it was true, even before you had met Gavi, you had loved Barcelona. Growing up in a family of football lovers, your family had declared FC Barcelona as their home club, and you had witnessed so many legends play for Barcelona and so many underdogs find their true passion at the club.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked, and you gave him a nod of encouragement, pretending to zip your lips shut making him smile, “Ok well it’s always been my dream to play for Barcelona. Messi was always an idol to me.” He confessed.
Your mouth dropped open in shock before you abruptly shut it, your eyes almost widening comically as you spoke excitedly, “What oh my gosh. I’m in shock. Messi? But you play with Ronaldo!” You gasped.
He laughed at your facial expression, as he whispered, “I know! That’s why it’s a secret.”
You nodded along with his words, sending him a duh expression, “Of course, I won’t say anything I promise.”
“Promise what?”
Gavi had appeared by your side, a firm hand set on your waist, as he gently tugged you back into his body.
You peeked up at Gavi to see he was already looking down at you, jaw set. You gulped.
“Nothing much, just talking about the season.” You replied.
You saw Gavi’s eyes flicker between the two of you before he brought you closer, “Can we please talk?”
You bit your lip unsure but nodded.
He slipped his hand into yours as he led you to a quieter area. You waved goodbye to Joao as Gavi pulled you through the crowd, and he held his drink up in response.
He was a nice guy. You hoped next season would be better for him than the last.
He guided you to a standing table and propped your hands on the table as he played with the ring on your index finger.
“This a really pretty ring, is it new?” He asked eyes focused on your fingers.
“No, I got it last month.”
“I haven’t seen you wear it.”
“I’ve worn it every day since I got it.”
“Oh.”
You gently removed your hand from his, knowing that talking circles about something so small was going to get you nowhere.
“What do you want Gavi?” You asked quietly.
His voice came out gravelly, “I want to know how I let it get to the point where you feel more comfortable calling me Gavi rather than Pablo.”
His words when straight to your heart, and you could feel his pain almost as much as you could feel your own.
“I-I don’t know.”
You heard his breath falter, “I miss you calling me Pablo. Hell – I even miss you calling me Pablito. I’d take anything over whatever this is.” He gestured pointing between the two of you.
“Ok then let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about where it went wrong.”
His eyes lifted at your words, “Why are you speaking in the past tense?”
You remained silent.
“Amor please, why are you speaking in past tense?” You could hear the panic building in his voice.
“I think we don’t spend enough time together.”
“Ok we can fix that. No problem.” He agreed, desperate to save what was slowly unraveling.
“But do you want to? Fix it I mean?”
“Of course, I do. Please just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” His voice was almost near begging, and you knew without a doubt that you were in a similar state.
You couldn’t believe that this was happening here, in front of all these people, but it wasn’t fair to either of you to hold it any longer. You had to have this conversation sooner or later and it seemed like tonight was the time for it.
“Sometimes I feel like you don’t have time for me.” You finally admitted what you had been feeling for the last month.
He shook his head rapidly, “I do! But I mean we both have such busy schedules, you have even less time than I do with school.” he argued, “You also have work so that cuts down on the time we have too, but I’m not complaining.”
You were trembling with anger as you spoke, but you kept your voice low, “Yes, because I have to work a job to be able to afford college. I hate the hours probably more than you do, but I do it because I have to. I don’t have an option. I want to go to school? I have to fund it. But you? You didn’t have to go out with the guys after practice or stay around Ansu’s to play FIFA, but you did. That was a choice you made.”
He opened his mouth to retaliate but you weren’t done, “And I’m not even mad about that. I’m mad that for the last month, you’ve put me below every other person in your life, treated me like I’m dispensable, someone who you only consider when you need something. I feel cheap. Like something you only want when it’s convenient to you.”
“That’s not true. You’re my girlfriend!” His voice shook as he spoke, and you realized he was probably just as scared as you were.
“Then why do I feel like I’m not?” Your voice came out soft, barely above a whisper, but it felt like delivering the final blow to an already sinking battleship.
You felt his eyes on you, eyes glazing over as hundreds of unushered words filled the space between you, but the moment was cut short, and you had to remind yourself that you were in public as Xavi approached the two of you.
You gave Xavi a quick hug before he congratulated Gavi on a great season.
Gavi only nodded, murmuring short responses, eyes glancing at you every few seconds like he was scared you would disappear from his life if he wasn’t watching.
He left after a moment, and then the two of you were alone again.
“I’m sorry Y/n, I had no idea that’s why you were working. I would’ve given you the money if you just said something-“
“I don’t want your money Gavi! It’s yours, not mine.” You said exasperated.
“C’mon Y/n you know I have enough to provide for the both of us. You don’t have to work-“
“I don’t want that! In fact, right now I don’t even want to be in this relationship!”
The boy physically shrunk back at your words, your admission sending him into silence as he processed your words.
Finally, he spoke, head shaking in denial, not wanting to admit what was right in front of him, “I-I don’t understand.”
You wanted to yell at him to notice all the signs you’d been sending him, beg him to understand the things you couldn’t say but had always been lurking in the shadows, easy enough to make out if you just paid attention. You wanted to scream that it wasn’t fair, it wasn’t fair that Gavi got to pursue his passion while you were being told to give up yours. Your head was filled with millions of things you wanted to say to him, thousands of little moments you wanted to share with him, you wanted to confide in him about how scared you were, how you had never felt like this in your life, how the thought of him slowly falling out of love with you was ripping your insides apart, making you sick to your stomach. There were so many things but not one left your mouth.
“I know you don’t.” Your voice sounded tired, even to your own ears, and you wondered if this was it. If this is where the two of you parted ways.
“I-I’m just going to go home.”
“I’ll grab our coats.”
You placed your hand gently on his, giving him a sad smile, “It’s ok. I think I’ll go alone.”
Neither of you could deny what it meant.
He ducked his head so you couldn’t see his red eyes. There was a moment of silence, and you could tell he was fighting with himself, trying to figure out what to do to stop the inevitable, until he slowly nodded,
“Ok.”
He had just sealed your relationship closed, something you were grateful for because you knew you couldn’t have done it yourself.
He didn’t lift his head as you walked away, and you didn’t blame him.
You grabbed your coat quickly, bidding goodbye to a few people as you made your way out of the hall.
As you walked down the hallway towards the main doors you realized you didn’t have a ride back. Your roommate had dropped you off and you assumed Gavi would drop you back. Well, that wasn’t happening now. Train it was. One glance out the window told you it was raining, downpouring to be exact.
How fitting. At least the weather matched your mood.
You stepped outside, immediately becoming drenched, but somehow you found comfort in it, at least this way no one could see you cry.
You were about halfway down the steps when you heard the door slam open, yelling coming from behind you.
You spun around, surprised to see Gavi stepping into the rain, “Please stay. Please.”
You stood frozen, unsure of what to say.
You were sure he wouldn’t follow you. But he had.
He kept taking steps closer to you, closing the distance, till you were only two steps apart, “Stay.”
His eyes searched your own, looking for something, maybe a sign that there was hope, something you weren’t sure you could provide.
“Just let me go. We can talk about this tomorrow.”
He shook his head, breath unsteady, “No I can’t. I can’t. I feel like if I let you go now, I’ll never see you again.”
You bit your cheek looking away, he was right. After tonight you had no intention of talking to him again.
His shoulders drooped at your silence, and he sat down on the steps of the building, harsh rain pounding down on him, matting his hair and drenching his extremely expensive suit, but he didn’t seem to care, “I hate fighting with you.”
You glanced down at his figure, watching him sit in the rain with his head in his hands, utterly defenseless.
“But I hate even more that it’s my fault, and that I couldn’t see what I was doing until I felt what you did, just for a second, and it hurt like hell.”
“I should have been there for you. I should have made time for you. I knew what I was doing wasn’t right but then I kept thinking it’s fine I’ll make it up to her next time, but next time never happened because I never showed up. I guess I was just so focused on making sure my teammates all liked me, and they had just stopped treating me like a kid, finally inviting me places - and I’m not using that as an excuse because I know it’s a shit one, it’s on me. Nobody forced me to do anything, I just wanted to feel included, and I put everyone else’s feelings above yours when yours was the one that was the most important to me.”
He finally lifted his head, and he was close enough that you could see the tears streaming down his face as he looked intently at you, almost like he was trying to memorize you, “If you want to walk away you can, you should - I’ll understand. I just wanted to apologize, really apologize, and own up to everything I did. I love you, and I promise you I won’t take anyone for granted the way I did with you.”
Your expression mirrored his own, and the tears were falling freely at his confession now that it was just the two of you. All the things you had wanted him to realize he had. All the things you wished he had said, he finally did.
But was it too late?
“Thank you, Pablo.”
He let out a short laugh through his tears, “No, thank you.”
You gave him a soft smile before you put distance between the two of you, letting the rain mask the sound of you leaving.
The lights from the venue grew dimmer as you continued walking, and you spared one last glance over your shoulder before it disappeared from view, seeing Gavi’s tiny figure rooted in place, watching you leave.
Your steps faltered.
How could you leave this relationship, this boy, when every single warning sign was going off in your brain, telling you to turn around and fight, to not give up? He had understood, he had understood exactly what you had felt, and had owned up to his mistakes, what else could he have done? He couldn’t go back and make it better, but he could change the way he treated you, but how would you acknowledge the change if you didn’t stick around?
It didn’t feel right walking away.
You thought you would feel content, feel like the pressure was lifting from your shoulders, but the dropping feeling in your stomach was multiplying, and your heart was constricting painfully at the thought of never seeing him, never laughing with him, never kissing him again, at the idea of falling in love with someone that wasn’t him.
You never ran faster in your life.
Let him be there. Please let him be there.
You didn’t know how you could explain yourself if you had to walk back into the event sopping wet, eyes puffy, and nose runny.
You couldn’t stop the wide smile that stretched across your face as he realized he was right where you left him.
You sat next to him and he didn’t notice until you spoke.
“Pablo.”
His head shot upon hearing your voice, and his face lifted for a second before falling again, “Di-Did you forget something?”
You nodded.
“Ok I can get it for you, what is it?” He cleared his throat, trying to make his voice clear.
You shifted closer to him, bodies pressed against each other, “I forgot that I love you. I love you and I want to work this out. I’m happy that you took responsibility and I believe you. I believe that you won’t do it again. But I should apologize too – I also wasn’t fair to you, and I did things that I shouldn’t have just to get back at you for making me feel so small.”
“I’m sorr-”
You cut him off, “Let’s stop apologizing.”
He nodded, eyes looking at you with nothing but love and admiration,
“Ok but we’ll have to work on our communication.” He said, and you hummed in agreement.
You touched your forehead with his, staring at each other with baited breaths until he finally closed the distance and kissed you. After a month of not seeing each other, you were finally kissing, pouring all your emotions, all your love, all your pain into the kiss, making a promise to be there for each other, and it felt like coming home.

Pool Party with the Barca Boys
Chapter 4
Frenkie’s POV
Ugh, I can’t believe that bitch just left me high and dry - though, I will admit, that I liked that dominant side of her - .
My encounter with Y/N, wasn’t like I’d imagined, but it was perfect to me.
Never in my wildest dreams, would I have thought that she’d be into me.
I knew all of the guys were - at least - somewhat in to her, I didn’t think I’d stand a chance.
I had to pinch myself, still in a haze of disbelief.
I awoke from my ponderings, my balls still aching and my cock still stiff, waiting for release.
A moan escaped my mouth, having been on the edge for so long was making me cranky.
I was debating whether it was best to leave my boner be or to take care of it, but the effect Y/N had had on me was evident.
My thoughts returned to our encounter, her breath on my skin, her whispers in my ear, her hands exploring my body.
The more I sank into thought, the harder I got.
I got closer and closer to the edge as I thought about the first time that I finally Y/N’s breasts, they were round, perky and perfect.
Fuck, she really had the most amazing body, it would look even better on mine.
The grip around my base grew tighter and my movements faster.
The thought of Y/N on her knees, being covered in my cum, looking up with those innocent eyes of hers, is what finally sent me over the edge.
My legs started trembling as I came undone, my hand covered in sticky residue.
I lay back and cursed “goddamn”.
It was time to clean myself up and go find the others.

Seville's Heartbeat (Pablo Gavi.)
Summary: Gavi proudly introduces his girlfriend, Y/N, to Seville's rich culture through historic landmarks, local cuisine, and flamenco. Their journey culminates at the Feria de Abril, where Y/N joins in the festivities, deepening their bond and beginning their shared exploration of Seville's traditions.
Gavi had always been proud of his hometown, Seville, with its rich history and vibrant culture.
When he met Y/N, his foreign girlfriend, he couldn't wait to show her everything that made Seville special.
One sunny morning, Gavi took Y/N on a stroll through the narrow, cobblestone streets of the old town. The air was filled with the scent of orange blossoms as they passed by centuries-old buildings adorned with intricate Moorish architecture.
"This is the Real Alcázar," Gavi explained, pointing to the majestic palace ahead.
"It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the gardens are absolutely stunning."
Y/N was captivated by the beauty of the palace and its lush gardens, where peacocks roamed freely among the fountains and orange trees.
She took countless photos, wanting to remember every detail.
As they continued their walk, they stumbled upon a bustling market in Plaza del Salvador.
The aroma of freshly baked bread and grilled meats wafted through the air, tempting them to sample traditional Andalusian delicacies.
"This is where locals come to shop for fresh produce and enjoy tapas," Gavi said, ordering a plate of jamón ibérico and manchego cheese for them to share. Y/N savored the flavors, delighted by the authenticity of the food.
In the evening, Gavi surprised Y/N with tickets to a flamenco show at a small, intimate tablao.
The passionate music and intricate dance moves left Y/N spellbound, her heart racing with the rhythm of the castanets.
"This is flamenco," Gavi whispered, his eyes fixed on the stage.
"It's more than just a dance; it's a way of expressing emotions and telling stories."
Y/N nodded, understanding the intensity and passion behind the performance. She could feel the energy reverberating through the room, connecting her to centuries of Andalusian culture.
On their final day together, Gavi took Y/N to experience the Feria de Abril, Seville's famous spring fair.
The fairgrounds were alive with color, filled with hundreds of casetas (decorated tents) where families gathered to eat, drink, and dance sevillanas.
"This is our most cherished tradition," Gavi said, leading Y/N into a caseta where his friends and family awaited them.
They were welcomed warmly, and Y/N was introduced to everyone as Gavi's girlfriend from abroad.
Throughout the day, they indulged in traditional dishes like paella and churros, and Y/N even tried on a colorful flamenco dress, joining in the dancing with newfound friends.
As the sun set over the fairgrounds, Gavi and Y/N sat together, savoring the moment.
"Thank you for sharing all of this with me," Y/N said, leaning against Gavi's shoulder.
Gavi smiled, knowing that he had given Y/N a glimpse into the heart and soul of Seville.
"There's so much more to explore," he said softly, his hand finding hers.
And as they watched fireworks light up the night sky, they knew that their adventure together was only just beginning.

ABSENT
masterlist
request on my profile
posted : 08/02/23 (European date)
how will our spanish player react when his girlfriend doesn't show up to his match?
"Pedri where is she?" I asked my bestfriend looking everywhere for my girlfriend's silhouette but didn't find her
"Pablo calm down, she's probably just late" he told me while doing his exercises
I furrowed my eyebrows and kept exercising before the match begins.
-
The match started and Y/n still wasn't seen. I brushed it off and kept playing.
But oh if only he knew earlier that he couldn't play properly when she wasn't there yelling his name in a, for once, cheerful way.
He kept pushing the players and almost got a red card for insolence.
"Looks like the number 6 is really angry tonight!" the commentator said
"Apparently his girlfriend didn't come to see him, maybe they broke up?" the second one said laughing making Pablo even more mad
"Púdrete! (fuck you)" he yelled while walking off the pitch since it was half time
He took his phone and tried to text Y/n, hoping she would answer fast enough
Y/n where are you?
Why aren't you here?
Please answer.
After 10 minutes of no answer, he started getting worried when she didn't respond his, at least, 10 calls when she never miss his calls
-
The match ended and Pablo went to the locker room without saying anything, a mix of anger and sadness filling his body as he changed while his teammates were dancing and celebrating.
Pedri came next to him, putting a hand on his shoulder rubbing it gently
"I'm sure everything is okay Pablo don't worry" he tried to assure his friend
"I don't know Pedri, she never missed any match of mine" the boy said while putting on his shirt
"We're going out to celebrate the night, maybe you should come and relax, Y/n is probably sleeping" he asked
"No, I'm not going anywhere without being 100% sure that my girlfriend is okay." he said coldly, disappointed that his friend tried to sneak him away before walking out without saying a single word
He came out and was surrounded by paparazzis and fans, making him almost go blind.
He covered his eyes with his hand and tried to go away but it didn't work, the crowd just grew bigger.
"Gavi is it true that you broke up with your girlfriend?"
"Gavi can I take a picture with you?"
"Gavi do you believe the rumors about .."
He couldn't even hear what they were saying, he just kept walking but of course it didn't do shit.
Luckily, the team came out of the stadium and now everyone's attention was on them, making Pablo almost go invisible.
He reached his car and drove to his girlfriend's house as fast as he could, rapidly parking his car and almost running.
He opened the door of her apartment since he had the keys and was welcomed by darkness which made him even more worried.
"Y/n?" He yelled but no answer so he tried the living room but nothing.
His last choice was her bedroom and when he came in, he was relieved to see her figure curled up in the bed but quickly became worried again when he saw multiple bloody tissues on the floor.
He sat on the bed as she turned after feeling a weight next to her.
-
Pov switch 😍
"Y/n?" he whispered as I lazily opened her eyes
"Oh Pablo, what time is it?" I tried to speak but my throat was really dry which made it difficult
"It's almost midnight, what's wrong?"
"Oh Pablo I'm so sorry I missed your match, I discovered that my dad was in the hospital and my nose started bleeding, I felt deezy so I laid down but it was a really, really bad idea because my nose kept bleeding even more and I suddenly got a headache and when I cried I fell asleep without even noticing I'm so sorry I didn't wanted to skip your match" I said in a single phrase
He didn't say anything which made me feel even more bad, he's probably so mad at me and it brakes my heart.
I felt tears filling up my eyes and I turned around to not watch him be disappointed of my selfishness.
Instead of leaving, he wrapped his arms around body and rubbed his cheek against mine.
"Oh Y/n I don't care if you missed the match, the principal is that you're okay and I'm so sorry for not being there for you" he said hugging me tightly "Is your dad okay though?" he asked kissing my cheek
"Yes, he broke his wrist but everything is okay now" I stated turning around so my face was facing his chest
"I'm glad to hear that, do you want to come celebrate our victory and you being fine with me hermosa?"
"Sure but I need to clean the mess first" I said getting up but he pushed me back against him
"No no no, you stay here while I clean the mess." he firmly said getting up and wrapping me around the comforter
"But I did that.." I tried to say but he threw a pillow at me, signaling that he wasn't open to any contestation
I growled while getting to the bathroom to take a shower and getting ready.
-
I got out of the shower with a towel wrapped around my body as I sat down the chair of the dressing table
The door suddenly opened and not short after I felt lips on my neck and arms around my covered chest
"I missed you today" he said against my skin making me chuckle
"Pablo let me get ready or else we will be late" I said trying to get him off but he only tightened his grip
"I don't care" he whispered as his lips trailed to my collarbone which caused me to slightly moan making him smile
"You'll have to take a second shower after we're done, amor" he whispered next to my ear making my lower stomach go crazy as he gently took off the towel
