saebi was the type of person to leave impressions , whether it was good or bad . she simply didn't care , at least that's what she convinces herself that she's doing . no one knew her that well to care enough , so why should it matter ? from that thought alone , she could hear daphne yelling from millions lightyears away . her parents stayed back home because of their careers , leaving saebi alone in a different country with only her best friend to keep her company .
it had its pros and cons , but she chooses to ignore the cons . it wasn't like she wasn't being careful , having no parental supervision just meant that she can do whatever she wants . and yes , she's aware of the consequences the could possibly face .
how convenient was it that she was facing one now ? why did it had to be face she knew ? and why did he had to be such a good kisser ? it was incredibly hard to admit that she hasn't stopped thinking about it, especially now that he knows that she remembers what happened the previous night .
saebi is just not used to it , not one bit . it was supposed to be just a one time thing and now , she finds herself trying to get out of a situation she initiated in the first place . how does one even find a way out of this ? especially when he's not backing down and even taking the offer that she used as a bluff , which she actually has to do now . ‘ no takebacks , by the way , ’ she mocks him in her mind , rolling her eyes at him .
saebi was seething with displeasure that she missed her name getting called for attendance . embarrassed , she raised her hand , then sunk back into her seat . “ anong special treatment pinagsasabi mo ? i'm just doing both of us a favor so we can both move on from this mistake at para tigilan mo na ko and we can forget about all of this , i'm sure that's what you want too . ” / @rockwithu
roel wasn’t easily swayed. in fact, he thrived on the chase. he liked the game, the push and pull, the challenge of breaking down walls that people so stubbornly built around themselves. it wasn’t about the end goal—well, not entirely. it was about the satisfaction of earning it. his persistence being rewarded. things handed to him too easily lost their shine too quickly. but when someone played hard to get? when they bit back and made him work for it? that was where the fun began. and saebi? she was biting back. she wasn’t backing down, and for some reason, he liked it. there was a fire in her that he hadn’t seen last night, when she had been drunk and reckless. now, sober and clearly annoyed, roel wondered just how long she could keep it up. a part of him couldn’t help but wonder, though—would she still be this aggressive underneath him? would that defiance stay, or would she melt under his touch, smooth out into something sweeter, softer? saebi wasn’t wrong about him, though. roel was exactly the kind of guy who jumped from one fling to the next, unapologetically noncommittal. he liked it that way. it was easy, uncomplicated, and low-maintenance. no strings, no drama, no bad blood when he inevitably got bored and moved on. people knew what they were getting with him—or at least, he made sure they did. and he didn’t see the harm in it. why make things complicated when they didn’t have to be? “i’m taking the offer,” he said finally, “sus, sinasabi mo ‘di ako special. pero may special treatment na kaagad ako, ah? no takebacks, by the way.” it was then the professor strode into the room, calling for everyone’s attention. the lecture began, and roel had no choice but to settle back into his seat, shifting gears as attendance was taken.
