ok the fun thing about haru in discacc is that like. idk i dont like how canon deals with her, so ive cherry picked the parts of her that i really identify with, & so now im shoving parts of myself into the story via her & thus giving her a HOPEFULLY slightly more fleshed out / logical way of being than what canon has for her

And Thus she’ll hopefully be a bit more compelling with what all i have planned for her. at least that’s my hope.

#speculation nation #discacc shit #the big thing coming from me is the thing of like. being very sweet on the surface #and she genuinely is very kind #but she has a LOT of pent up anger from everything that's happened in her life. and she's kinda desperate for an outlet for it #which that is drawn from like. ya kno. how she is towards shadows #got that moe-gap going on. the whole Tee Hee as she's being utterly bloodthirsty.#which it feels a little weird how they do that in p5. like. it feels baseless i guess?#like theyre just like 'oh haha funny joke the sweet girl is secretly super bloodthirsty but still sweet as she does it!'#they never address the Why she would be like that. which i think it's bc of that pent up rage lol #idk there's so much potential to her character that it feels like p5 ignores.#p5 loves to ignore the years of neglect and emotional abuse she endured in favor of claiming her father didnt deserve to die #yes she's perfectly justified in being upset with goro for killing her father. but less bc of the death itself #and more in the fact that she didnt get any closure.#that's the key part. she deserved the Closure. she wanted Desperately to hear her father say he'd been wrong.#and then he was gone. and she was left with an empire built on the corpses of thousands.#oh ANOTHER interesting thing that p5 doesnt really address. is the fact that they werent always rich.#haru didnt grow up like this. at least not as a small child.#which is an important distinction. her blood doesnt run gold so to speak. she's a normal person who's been thrust into the world of the rich #WHICHHHHH as seen in my last post. i do have some experience with that actually lol #she barely understands any of this Rich Bullshit and is just forced to put up with it bc that's all she knows #Doing What Her Father Says & all that business #she's grown accustomed to the lavish lifestyle but she remains sympathetic & understanding of all sorts of people #idk i just like my haru better than what's in canon.#i need to treat her better than i have been in discacc lmaooo. unfortunately half the pov is fed up with her naivete #and the other half is too busy fretting over the first half to pay her much mind r #*rn #oh someday haru... u will get the solo time that u deserve...
