Obviously Mick is always in the paddock with me but we don't have time to see each other, to spend time together, quality time and I thought that would be cool that we just go together and have some down time and just recharge the battery before starting the double-header.

Recommend this episode of the PitStop podcast with Ruth Buscombe who was head of race strategy at Alpha Romeo and has worked for Ferrari and Haas. Really interesting behind the scenes stories. And yes okay she also says nice things about Charles but it’s a great listen for many reasons.

I wish podcast listening numbers on spotify were publicly visible. I am just sitting here comparing the number of reviews of various f1 podcasts to each other and other big sports podcasts trying to get an idea of how popular they are in the grand scheme of things

ughhh give me a weekly podcast by Carlos Sainz Jr, one weak it has to be in English, the next one in Italian and then the other one in Spanish. PLS!!!!!

a non-exhaustive ranking of f1 podcasts that I listen to:

1. The Red Flags Podcast 🚩🚩🚩

I have to listen to this podcast on solitary walks because I laugh so hard that people stare at me weird in public. I like the fact that they have funny opinions (even the ones I disagree with). being self aware about f1 as a funny sport gives major points. This pod was my gateway drug into f1 too so it has get points there (Intern Jeni you will always be famous). If you listen to any episode, listen to the formula 101, but imo the funniest episode ever recorded was the coverage of the Bahrain GP in 2022.

2. Two Girls One Formula

Also very funny! in a different way though which is cool. Love the deep dives and the manifest minute and the general good energy that I get from these two extremely funny women. Love this show!! Ash Vandelay was a very cool guest too.

3. Fan Behavior Pod

A recent addition to my repertoire, but very solid , funny f1 content with cool special guests, and cool segments. Pop culture crossover moment is a personal fave.

4. Late Braking Podcast

You might be noticing by now that I rank the podcasts that are funny higher. This is true and I don’t apologize. These guys are funny, and I tend to learn something about the cars/the drivers/the sport when I listen.

5. Missed Apex Pod

More informative, still good, great special guests. Feel like an f1 intellectual catching up on these eps.

6. The Race

The most technical by far, and I only follow about half. Still have some very interesting episodes and compelling discussions.

Honorable mention: P1 with Matt and Tommy (too new to rank but great so far!)

In a continuation sharing of old episodes on our shiny new tumblr (although these ones aren't that old, actually), check out our most recent episodes on the truly stellar CDrama, Lost You Forever S1! We meant to record two episodes, and instead recorded a whole mini-series, so if Xiao Yao, Tushan Jing, and Xiang Liu are still living rent free in your head, too, we've got you covered 🙃

If you haven’t seen this drama, don’t worry–the first part of our mini-series is spoiler free! In Part 1, we give some context about the show’s set up, share some spoiler-free reactions, and wrap up with a game of Fuck, Marry, Kill. We also share all the reasons we think you should check out Lost You Forever–if it hasn’t already taken the top spot on your favorite dramas list like it has for Corinne.

In honor of the reverse harem-ness at all, in Part 2, we organized our discussion around leading lady, Xiao Yao, and her four suitors. We start the episode with Xiao Yao…and her many abandonment issues. Then, we get into our complicated feelings about her charming, ambitious cousin, Cang Xuan and his dangerous pursuit of the throne. As a treat (for Corinne), we also talk about Xiao Yao’s bratty half-sister, A’nian, because she’s the worst (and the best).

In the third and final installment of our semi-accidental mini-series, we finally get to the last three main players fighting for Xiao Yao’s heart: Fenglong of the Central Plains; Xiang Liu, everyone’s favorite nine-headed sea snake demon man; and last but certainly not least, Tushan Jing, soft beta-baby-boy of the year.
