❌—What’s the worst thing an adaption of your WIP could do? Your absolute worst nightmare?:

The Power and the Glory: Do not try to make Ilaran more heroic. He's an anti-hero who's done some outright villainous things. And for the love of god don't try to downplay what Haliran did to Siarvin.

Totentanz: If I hear even a hint of Diarnlan and Karandren being turned into each other's love interests I will RIOT. And don't try to make one of them a hero from the start. They're both horrible people for most of the book. That's why it's a black comedy; if one or both of them was a good person it would be a tragedy.

Like Snow on Hungry Graves: Do not try to downplay what Ketevan does to Hariye. And don't try to turn Rusudan into an anti-heroine. She's a villain protagonist at best.

🎬—Who would you cast as your characters?: I have no idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ All I ask is that the actors vaguely resemble the books' characters in age and appearance (don't cast a Diarnlan who's the same age as Karandren, Lian's silver eyes are his most distinctive feature so don't change them, do NOT age up Hariye to make Ketevan less creepy). A few specific comments:

Like Snow on Hungry Graves: Most of the cast should be Georgian. (If this means the film has to be in Georgian, that's fine with me. I want to learn Georgian anyway.) Konstantine must be mixed-race.

The Unfortunate Moth and sequels: I'd like all the actors to be the same nationality as their characters; simply because the prologue of Moth and the present-day bits of Glass are set within fifteen miles of my home and I'd want local actors cast as Phil, Vi and Alec.

(On the other hand Leo is from Belfast, so I would like him to not be played by an actor from Belfast :P )

I'd lose my mind if the producers could get one of my favourite Kdrama actors to play Yo-han. (I picture him as looking like Woo Do-hwan anyway, so... 👀)

Silver Glass specifically: David must be played by an Armenian actor.

Totentanz: Karandren is a difficult role because he's physically fourteen but mentally well over a hundred (counting all his different lifetimes). I'd be okay with him being aged up to 16+ if it's impossible to find a 14-year-old actor who can play him.

Okay so I get 9 choices yes? 1. JAY CHANG (23, 5'9")/P/P/P/P/P - obvi. He's the whole reason I'm watching this show. But bias aside, STELLAR voice and decent dancing. He's quirky and speaks English. Sold. 2. PARK GUN WOOK (19, 6'0")/P/P/P/P/P - I have officially decided that YES. he IS handsome. But aside from that he's talented. obvi. He fits in fantastic with an idol concept.

3. WANG ZI HAO (23, 5'10)/F/P/F/P/P - he's quiet. he's pretty. he dances well. SOLD.

4. PARK HAN BIN (22, 5'9")/F/P/P/P/P - I said he's got charisma and he's got a flair for the dramatics. (kinda darker skin guy)

5. LEE SEUNG HWAN (24, 5'10")/P/P/P/P/P - this kid got all passes from me. But I have no idea who he is? My comments are that he has a real nice voice and has done some modern dance in the past? (Even looking at a picture of him. I still have no idea)

6. YOON JONG WOO (24, 5'9")/F/P/P/P/P - obvi he'd be the daddy leader of the group.

7. KEITA (23, 5'5")/F/F/P/P/F - he's fun. and "was fine at rapping"

8. KUM JUN HYEON (22, 5'11")/F/P/P/F/P - his goofy side won me over. I do love my variety shows.

10. KIM JI WOONG (25, 5'10)/P/P/P/P/F - BL actor. Donghyun type. Idk if he's right for an idol group though? I think maybe stay as an actor. idkkkk.

Com tantos Centros de Treinamento Olímpico espalhados pelo mundo, por que o Hamdeok Complex?

São vários os fatores que me fizeram escolher o Hamdeok, mas o principal de todos está em um nome: Choi Hyunwoo.

E como você entrou? Alguém te indicou e você passou pelos testes, você se inscreveu voluntariamente para fazer os testes ou houve alguma contribuição monetária envolvida?

Eu fui convidado através do meu treinador e do Choi Hyunwoo-hyung, fiz por fazer porque não achei que fosse entrar, mas aqui estou eu.

Você certamente se destaca no esporte que pratica. O que motivou a sua escolha por ele?

Na verdade, eu sempre gostei de lutar, sou profissional em várias… Porém o Boxe sempre foi minha paixão e é o esporte onde mais me encontrei, ele meio que me salvou. Desculpa estar rindo, mas é que passei por maus momentos antes de chegar até aqui.

Pode nos contar, brevemente, sobre sua trajetória no esporte até o momento?

É uma pergunta que vou ficar todo emocional? Brincadeira. Mas.. foi um caminho muito ruim e até hoje não é tão bom assim, apesar de algumas medalhas e cinturões. Como sabem, nasci nos Estados Unidos, em Austin, capital do Texas, desde muito jovem sempre sofri por ser diferente, me metia em várias brigas apenas para proteger meus amigos. Venho de uma família muito humilde, meus pais são divorciados e minha mãe só tem a mim. Sou formado apenas nos cursos oferecidos pelo exército: fiz psicologia já que era a área de interesse do meu posto nos fuzileiros, porém fui dispensado depois de uma missão, e, com isso, também não recebo mais o salário e não tinha como manter minha família, então me vi obrigado a trabalhar… Porém. Tenho vergonha de admitir isso, mas, a única coisa em que sou bom é em lutar… Comecei por indicação de um colega que me levava a algumas competições, no Texas mesmo, mas depois que começamos a ter certa fama, ele disse que tinha uma oportunidade para mim aqui na Coreia, que ele conhecia alguns treinadores que estariam dispostos a me treinar para que eu pudesse ser lutador profissional. O que eu topei, e seria perfeito, já que não posso fazer isso nos Estados Unidos. Minha vida melhorou consideravelmente depois disso, embora ainda precise trabalhar em alguns bicos. Meu treinador é colega do treinador do Hamdeok e já lutamos algumas vezes… Acho que estou falando demais. Desculpa.

Quais são suas maiores qualidades e maiores defeitos? Como elas influenciam seu dia a dia como atleta?

Minhas maiores qualidades são ser determinado, leal, um bom espírito esportivo e, com certeza, minha dedicação. Eu amo o que faço e quero me tornar uma inspiração para outros garotos que se veem sem saída, como eu me sinto às vezes e como já me senti antes. E, meu maior defeito… Tenho tantos! O principal é que sou péssimo com as palavras, não sei dizer não, e sou um pouco contraditório, mas é porque não sou bom com as palavras e não sei expressar o que estou pensando. Além de que, por ser um ex-fuzileiro, tenho ações retraídas e sou um pouco fechado, isso influencia muito na minha comunicação com meus colegas de treino.

Sabemos que é uma grande honra ser convocado para representar seu país nos jogos olímpicos, mas existe alguma outra razão pela qual você deseje isso?

Quero muito mostrar ao meu pai que eu existo! Sei que sou famoso dentro do ciclo do esporte, e ele também sabe disso, porém quero mostrar a ele que consegui tudo isso sozinho sem ajuda nenhuma porque sou capaz. Também quero mostrar que com dedicação podemos alcançar todos os nossos sonhos… São tantos os meus pensamentos. Preciso dizer todos aqui? Não posso escrever uma carta? É melhor… Mas no geral, eu quero provar meus pontos para meu pai, pessoas que passam pelo que passei, e também aos meus colegas de USMC.
