Thoma x oya
"Ehehe... when will you stop being mad at me?" The kamisato housewife asked, smiling nervously in hope oya doesn't glare at him again.
"Probably never. Who told you to come get me at this time." She spat, not even bothering to look at him.
Thoma felt bad, really bad. Oya always had a temper but he never saw her this furious.
"I'm really sorry, we had an emergency but I didn't think it would be taken care of this quickly," he stated, trying to reason with her. " Maybe if you go now you'll be able to get there in time...?" He asked reluctantly, hoping she doesn't get any more angry.
"In time? In time!? I was so happy to meet him face to face. You know how important it was for me. Do you even know how long it took me to get there by foot? How far that place from here is?" She bursts out, anger taking over her. "Even if I start running now. I won't make it.. I guess I'll just have to arrange another meeting, if I even get another chance." She groaned, taking a deep sigh.
Thoma's chest was aching, feeling bad that he ruined such a big and meaningful moment for oya.
Oya was supposed to meet with heizou, inazuma's greatest detective. He hardly ever comes and reports to Kamisato ayato, given that he's often looking for clues and visiting here and there.
Oya always has been a fan of detectives that's why she was very excited to meet him. Usually he reports back to Ayato directly, but this time she took the chance to meet him because Ayato wasn't available at that moment.
She was so excited that she told thoma day and night about it. But when the day came, something urgent came and Thoma had to ask her to come with her. She was feeling angry and upset. Later on, heizou informed them that he already met with ayato.
Days passed and she still didn't talk to Thoma, not even looking at him. Whenever Thoma tried to strike up a conversation with her or tried to reach out, she would avoid him. He felt bad and didn't know what to do. He never saw her like this. Usually she would feel better after a few days but this time she's not even looking at him.
He somehow had to make it up to her so she doesn't stay angry at him any longer. He thought about it long and hard, he was thinking of a way on how she can meet her detective idol.
Thoma went to the kamisato head to ask if he oya could meet up with heizou for the next report.Thankfully Ayato agreed to his request. "Very well, I shall inform her about it so-" "Actually, I would like to surprise her with it," he interrupted, explaining Ayato about the situation and her anger. Ayato chuckled and told him that it's doable .
Even so, Thoma wanted to make sure that oya does get to meet him, so he checked when that certain detective has free time because he mostly just comes and goes whenever he wants to, like a shadow roaming around. You never know when he pops out
----
Oya was walking inside the city, running some errands and getting a new book for herself. She was thinking about Thoma and the way she got angry at him. She knew he didn't mean to yet she still yelled at him. She felt bad but didn't know how to confront him as she never got angry at him. The past days she's been avoiding him whenever she saw him. She was thinking of a way to apologize to him.
On her way back, she saw a little crowd, but she couldn't see the reason why there are so many people. She walked up to them, trying to get through the crowd to see more clearly.
"I ask you all, is there such a thing as free onikabuto? Free mora? Or... does nothing in life come for free? Thank you all for watching 'Heizou talks fraud'." As oya got through the crowd, she was stunned when she saw Shikanoin Heizou having his own self promotion.
"Don't get greedy and you won't be needy, stay alert and you won't get hurt! You never know where scammers may lurk. See you all next time!" He winked and bowed as the crowd applaud.
Is this really happening? Inazuma's greatest detective, the person she's been wanting to meet and talk to, is right in front of her.
The crowd was deforming itself as oya walked up to him. "Excuse me?" She caught his attention. "Why hello!" He beamed at her." Pleased to make acquaintance with you, I'm Shikanoin Heizou. Is there any case you need my help with? I guarantee that I can solve every case no matter how big or small."
"I'm Oya, I work for the kamisato family. I'm a great fan of your work." Oya complimented. "Haha, how charming. You must have a good eye for such things," he chuckled, " if my hunch is correct, you must be the one I was supposed to meet that day for the report I give Master Kamisato?'
Her inner fangirl was screaming with joy but she tried her best to keep her composure, "yes, that would be me."
----
Thoma took a deep breath, hoping everything would work without any trouble before looking for oya. He tried to reach her before she disappeared again.
"Listen oya, I know you're mad at me and I'm really, really sorry about what happened-" "but I'm not mad at-" "-please let me finish. Anyway, as I was saying, I'm sorry about what happened, I know how much these things mean to you. That's why, I have something for you," he asked her to come with him, so he can introduce her to someone.
"Why hello, oya. It's good to see you again. So you're the one who he was talking about when pleaded with me to meet somebody." He laughed.
Thoma was confused about this situation. How does he know oya? And when did they meet?
Oya explained to him that she met heizou by coincidence when she was doing running some errands.
Thoma felt a little embarrassed about this situation as it was completely unexpected. Oya's gaze softened, knowing how hard he must have tried to make it up to her. She thanked him, "thank you Thoma, it really means a lot to me. And I wanna apologize to you as well, even if I was sad at that moment, I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you. I'm really sorry." She apologized, guilt lingering on her.
He smiled at her and told him that there's no need to apologize. Oya gave him a big hug, he was surprised at first but hugged back, smiling to himself and happy that she isn't avoiding him anymore.

Oyas Sides
I’m so NOT confident right now.
It’s a huge leap for me. I’m not used to share my drawings at all. Because I really think it’s not worth it. I’m not an artist. I won’t even call what I draw drawings, more like doodles. But I do like drawing. I just don’t do it often enough to improve. And I don’t have any ambition about it.
I also have a huge issue with self-confidence and I’m usually so shy I don’t even share stuff with my own friends... what a mess I am ah ah
Two months ago or so, I discovered Thomas Sanders and his Sanders Sides serie. It just blew my mind. On a professionnal level, but also on a personnal level. I'm so into it I found it interesting to work on my own issues and my own identity through this. It inspired me so much and helped me a lot going through a hard time that I’ve decided to create my own “sides”.
So, not really an original project, not really a fan project, something in between. Why do I want to share it then? I thought it was a good idea, to create your own sides. Maybe it’s already been made. It’s also my way to thank Thomas and his team for their work on Sanders Sides. Although I could and I will write more than draw about it but, I really wanted to give them a face at first. So, here are my sides (and actually I would be glad to see sides from others if they have created ones)
And now Prudence is telling me to go hiding far far away under my blanket. Bye.
Starry, the Ambition, embodiement of my spontaneity, they could be anything, want to do, to act. (they are the one pushing me to make this post, so frustrated to be pushed down by the others)
Prudence, the Caution, they want to be safe and secure, look too much to the future for their own good. (they are the one making me feel so scared about making this post)
Sonoko, dreams but doesn’t dare to do, insanely curious, a bit lazy, always want to feel comfy. (they are the one very curious to know what others can make, but also the one making me feel too lazy to post though it’s been weeks since I’ve drawn them...)
Loyalty, loyalty for their loved ones and their moral values, ready to do anything for others to feel good. (they are the one making me feel it’s useless to post about my own stuff)
I’m still working on it though.

Synopsis: You ignore them because you're too busy with your heiress duties.
Author's notes: Ask and you shall receive~ This is an AU where villainess!reader is the characters’ S/O, and it takes place in the Katsugeki Arc which happens one year prior to the current events of the game.
I’m a Villainess but I’m Not Evil! (Navigation)
#KAMISATO AYAKA
Ayaka let out a quiet sigh, catching her older brother’s attention. With a single eyebrow quirked up, Ayato set his brush beside the document he was about to sign and laced his fingers together in front of him.
“Is something on your mind?” he inquired, though he already knew the reason behind her being in low spirits today. It’s quite obvious if you think about her close relationship with Onigasaki’s heiress and the fact that the latter has been kept busy solving the case of Yuito’s poisoning.
“Lady (y/n) hasn’t responded to any of my letters, and I feel like I’m being ignored,” Ayaka confessed, her eyebrows furrowing.
Ayato clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. “You know what a busy woman she is. Her brother was poisoned recently, and she didn’t sleep at all just to make an antidote for a poison nobody knew the cure to. She even had to take over in solving the case on her own, and don’t get me started on how busy she is with her duties as the heiress. He shook his head at Ayaka in disappointment. “You could try to be more understanding of her situation.”
She visibly deflated at his chastisement. “That doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to be upset... and maybe feel a little selfish for once.”
The head of the Kamisato Clan rubbed his temples. “If you’re that desperate for her attention, then why don’t you send her a letter to give her your support and encouragement? I’m sure she’ll appreciate it, and maybe you’ll even get a response.”
She immediately perked up at her brother’s suggestion. “That’s a wonderful idea! I should get started on the letter right away-” Gracefully rising to her feet, she then pattered towards the door and called for Thoma the moment she slid it open. “Thoma! Please prepare a blank sheet of paper, a brush and a pot of ink in my room!"
Once she had left to write the letter for (y/n), Ayato mused, “Oya oya... My sister’s love for Lady (y/n) knows no bounds.”
#GOROU
"(Y/n)."
Said woman didn’t bother looking up from the document she was reading at her desk and ignored him. Quietly approaching her side, Gorou nudged her arm in hopes of getting her attention. She merely hummed in response and moved her arm away from him.
"(Y/n), look at me. Please," Gorou implored. He never begged because it was unbecoming for the General of Watatsumi’s army; it simply didn’t suit his image, but he was growing desperate as the days passed. Ever since Yuito got poisoned, she didn’t spare Gorou a single glance and was preoccupied with finding the fool that dared to harm her only family.
As a sharp sigh slipped past her lips, (y/n) finally looked at her fiance, though with a frown instead of her usual smile. “Gorou, go to sleep. I’m busy."
“You’ve been ignoring me for five days!” he snapped, having had enough, “I asked Her Excellency for a one week break specifically because I wanted to visit you. I missed you, yet you don’t seem to care that I came all the way from Watatsumi to see how you’re doing.”
(Y/n)’s eyes widened for a moment before she averted them guiltily. “I’m sorry... I didn’t mean to make you feel neglected. What with Yuito’s poisoning and me officially becoming the head in a few months, I have a lot on my plate right now.”
He sighed quietly and took both of her hands in his, making her meet his softened gaze. Leading her towards the futon he had already laid out on the floor, he then forced her to lie down and soon joined her as he pulled the blanket over their weary bodies.
“You’re obviously tired and frustrated, (y/n). Please, just rest with me,” Gorou quietly pleaded whilst pulling her against his chest, his chin nestling itself on top of her head, “You worked tirelessly to create an antidote for Yuito. You deserve a break."
#ARATAKI ITTO
"Arataki-san, you can’t just-”
“Step aside, Jin!”
(Y/n) almost dropped the conical flask in surprise when Itto unceremoniously barged into her lab. Spinning around to face him, she then narrowed her eyes into a glare, unhappy at the fact that he just entered without her permission. She let out a huff as she set the flask on the counter.
“Itto, didn’t I tell you to never step inside my lab unless I gave you special permission to do so? There are a lot of dangerous chemicals in here that you don’t how to-” She didn’t even get to finish her sentence because the half-oni had grabbed her wrist and was already dragging her out of the room. “Hey- Hold on a second!"
Itto didn’t halt his long strides until they had exited from the Onigasaki Estate - and for the first time in days, (y/n) greeted the warmth of the afternoon sun, the gentle breeze that whistled past causing the tail of her lab coat to flutter behind her legs. She suddenly felt the tension in her body dissipate, and he turned his head to her with a grin splitting his face in half when he felt her relax.
“About time you touched grass!” he exclaimed, using one of the phrases she had taught him before, “When you ignored me for a week, I thought I did something to upset you.” He rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish smile. “I was going to serenade you with the gang’s help tonight, but this morning your cousin told me that Yui-bro got poisoned and that you’ve been holed up in the estate, working your butt off to nurse him and to find the perpetrator.”
(Y/n) pressed her palm against her forehead as she said, “I’m really glad Lord Hidemune stopped you from embarrassing yourself.”
He laughed loudly, drawling out, “Come ooon~ Don’t say that.” Releasing her wrist, he then cupped her face with his large hands and gently bumped their foreheads together. “It’s fine to work hard and all, but don’t forget to breathe in some fresh air once in a while, 'kay?”
#THOMA
Thoma expelled a deep sigh when he was answered with silence once again. He had made mitarashi dango this morning in hopes that she’d allow him to see her, even if it’s only for a few seconds; alas, his efforts were ignored. Was this how she felt when he shut her down every time she tried to explain why she had poisoned Yuuko? Biting his bottom lip, he crouched down and left the plate of dango just outside of her room.
“I’ll leave the dango out here,” he announced, standing up again, “Please don’t overwork yourself.” When he didn’t hear a response from the other side of the door, he let out another sigh and then walked away.
Thoma was becoming increasingly worried for (y/n)’s mental health since she had shut herself away in her room after Yuito’s poisoning a week ago; she was no doubt working hard to identify the person behind the murder attempt, and with the addition of her becoming the new head of her clan... she must be very stressed.
But that’s why he’s here.
He has plenty of connections within Inazuma, so catching the culprit should be easy as long as he probes into the right places. If he has to get his hands a little dirty to lift some of her burdens off her shoulders, then he’ll gladly do it.
A shadow cast itself over Thoma’s eyes as he strode out of the Onigasaki Estate, murmuring, “I’ll get revenge for you, my aster.”
#NAGANOHARA YOIMIYA
Spinning on her heels, Yoimiya stamped her hands on her hips as she stared at (y/n)’s bedroom window from outside of the estate. This is the third time she’s been turned away from seeing her beloved, and nobody would even tell her why! Although she did overhear about Yuito’s recent poisoning and that (y/n) has been stressed with her duties as the clan’s heiress from the gossiping servants, she wanted to hear it from (y/n)’s own mouth.
Yoimiya tapped her foot on the ground whilst humming pensively. If (y/n) is going to continue ignoring her until an entire week has passed, then Yoimiya will just have to lure her out herself, right? As she formulated a foolproof plan in her head, a mischievous grin grew on her lips and she then rushed off to set it in motion.
Night soon fell, and (y/n) left her room to check up on Yuito. As she dragged her feet through the hallway, the panicked shouts of her servants in the courtyard caught her attention.
“What the hell is going on?” she muttered. Just as she was about to walk in the direction that she came from, Jin was seen briskly approaching her from the other end of the hallway.
“Lady (y/n)!” he called, appearing exasperated for some reason, “Yoimiya is-” The moment (y/n) heard Yoimiya’s name, she wasted no time in racing to the courtyard; as soon as she stepped foot outside, a loud bang resonated across the sky above, prompting her to lift her gaze. Her eyes widened.
Fireworks bloomed in the night sky, forming a familiar red flower that she recalled as the villainess’ favourite flower - the dendrobium.
“Yoimiya... She must have started a commotion to lure me outside so she could set them off for me to see,” she mused, giggling softly. (Y/n) then smiled at the fireworks burning brightly in the darkness, the blooming sparks shining down on her like the morning star.

The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has announced interdisciplinary artists Destinie Adelakun and Sara Jimenez as its 2020 Canadian Women Artists’ Award recipients. The $5,000 award is designed to provide financial support to women-identifying emerging or early career artists working in any discipline, and can be used in any manner the recipient deems necessary to further their artistic goals. The award program is supported by funding granted to NYFA by the Canadian Women's Club (CWC) of New York as a way to continue its philanthropic work when it disbanded. This year, in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the creative community, the CWC and NYFA decided to award two prizes.
“We’re proud to partner with the Canadian Women’s Club to offer this award, and are especially grateful to recognize not one but two artists,” said Michael L. Royce, Executive Director, NYFA. “Destinie Adelakun and Sara Jimenez are exceptionally talented cross-disciplinary artists, and we are excited to hear more from them as they continue to push their careers forward,” he added.
Destinie Adelakun is a Lagos, Nigeria-born, Nagpur, India-raised Canadian artist whose work extends from mixed-media, painting, and photography to film and sculpture, and explores topics ranging from African history, mythology, and spirituality. She utilizes individuals in her work as a personification of principles and ideas, and a way to re-illustrate African and Indian mythological tales. Adelakun, who received a BFA degree in Fashion Production from The London College of Fashion, celebrates women of the African diaspora and plays with the adornment that embodies the creative direction of the work. She has collaborated with noted art world icons such as Renee Cox, Mickalene Thomas, and Taha Clayton to name a few, and curated several art shows in the New York region before recently transitioning to showing her own art and photography work. She currently lives and works in New York, NY.
Said Adelakun upon receiving a 2020 Canadian Women Artists’ Award: "As a biracial daughter of the diaspora, life has thrown countless battles on my path to success. I recently became a mother during this global pandemic, and just when I felt overwhelmed and buried by the challenges of life I received this ray of opportunity. This award means that I have the opportunity to continue to create work. It is an opportunity for me to allow other young women of color, especially mothers, to see that creativity and achievement doesn't end after childbirth. This award and its recognition will elevate my career to a whole new level, and it's an affirmation to continue working and believing in myself."
Sara Jimenez explores the material embodiment of deep transcultural memories. As an interdisciplinary Filipinx-Canadian artist, she is interested in materializing existing global narratives around concepts of origins and home, loss and absence. She works in collage, sculpture, installation, and performance to create visual metaphors that allude to mythical environments and forgotten artifacts. Jimenez is a collector and alchemist: among other things, she collects familial narratives, abandoned objects, debris, compost, colonial texts and photos, maps, and textiles. Through material experimentation, she combines and rearranges elements from her collections to complicate pre-existing narratives of place, lineage, and temporality. Her work has been exhibited at the Pinto Art Museum (Philippines), El Museo del Barrio, Brooklyn Museum, and others, and she has performed at numerous venues including The Dedalus Foundation, The Noguchi Museum, and Dixon Place. Upcoming, Jimenez will have solo shows at Irvine Fine Arts Center and The Center for Chinese Contemporary Art in Manchester, England, and will participate in the 2021 Cornell Biennial curated by Tim Murray. Jimenez received her BA degree from the University of Toronto and her MFA degree from Parsons the New School for Design. She teaches at Parsons, New York University, and Borough of Manhattan Community College and mentors graduate students at the Vermont College of Fine Art and School of Visual Arts. Jimenez is based in Brooklyn, NY.
Said Jimenez upon receiving a 2020 Canadian Women Artists’ Award: "I am incredibly honored to receive this award. It is humbling and moving to be gifted resources to pursue my vision and share it with the world. I want my work to be of service to the public and to shift the paradigm of visual culture."
Lorraine Bell, Board Director Bridgemarq Real Estate Services, Hot Docs Foundation USA, the University of Toronto Associates, Inc., and former Canadian Women’s Club member, spoke about the rationale behind giving two awards in 2020: "I know the financial struggles that artists face during the best of times can be difficult, but layer a global pandemic onto that and it can be overwhelming. So the decision to award two worthy Canadian recipients in 2020 was made and we are thrilled with the selections of artists Adelakun and Jimenez."

Teenagers and young adults are being bombarded by new experiences, and emotions run high in that fragile space where they are growing into adulthood. The outcome of decisions made during these years can last a lifetime, but at this age, the mind is not always mature enough for all the situations it will encounter. Pressure and criticism from their peers and adults can sometimes shut down their bright light and their hope that they are capable of doing something fantastic with their lives. The workshop with Oya provides a safe space for healing growing pains and cultivating dreams, to let young people know it is okay to have big plans for their lives. She shows them how to apply The 5 Star Points for Success system to their unique experiences and gives them tools to learn how to manifest their dreams and live their life's purpose. She also encourages education and the important foundation that higher education can help build, by teaching how to balance homework and school with friends and making the best decisions for their future. Oya’s ability to be a “big kid” and connect regularly with her little girl who enjoys the silly and fun things in the world, while still utilizing the wisdom gained from her life experiences and her education helps her forge meaningful connections with young people and inspire them to keep use what they love as a way to get them aligned and resonating with positive vibrations.
Let Oya lift you up today and learn how to say, “I am Love. I am Light. I am Peace. I am a Divine Being. And I feel free to LIVE.”

*WOULD YOU BE WEALTHY?* Do you really desire wealth? Do you really need wealth and freedom? The answer is totally up to you! My definition of wealth is having enough to take care of your needs without external support with enough left over to grow your reserve and also help others. It does not mean just having so much as measured by others. It's relative to each person. If 100k takes care of all your needs without pressure and you can still save and invest then you are wealthy. Now whatever level of wealth you desire is staring right at you in the form of the opportunity you have in your hands! As you may already know God does not give cash!!! You may wish he did. But He doesn't! He gives seeds in the form of opportunities, talents, gifts, etc. You are totally responsible to make of these what you desire. That great wealth, freedom you dream of and desire is already in your hand in seed form. Plant it in the soul of massive action and you will see the fruit of great wealth. "Opportunities, many times, are so small that we glimpse them not and yet they are often the seeds of great enterprises. Opportunities are also everywhere and so you must always let your hook be hanging. When you least expect it, a great fish will swim by." Og Mandino "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." Thomas A. Edison “Opportunities? They are all around us… There is power lying latent everywhere waiting for the observant eye to discover it.” Orison Swett Marden “Your big opportunity may be right where you are now.” I'm currently running a free training on how to be your own Social Media CEO without spending a dime for free. All you need is your smartphone 📲 to build an active network of users 👭👬👬👪 Oya come join for free 🏃👇 https://wowapp.com/w/calebsemak DAB : I teach people how to be their own Social Media CEO without spending a dime for free.
