Owlcatober: Day 13 - Another World

I'm not doing many prompts this year, but the idea I had for this one was too good not to draw. Our favorite Baron in the First World with a certain Guardian of the Bloom.

Black has received permission to get some of the wing scales but she’ll have to deal with the fact that the secondary wings shed snow. The scales may end up wet based on how she decides to collect them 😂 They’re holding themself back from saying “just take the entire wing”

Blackstar is not one of Mab’s fey so she gets the okay from Aurien.

taking advantage of that one post to ramble some thoughts I had a while back. I think Aurien would have a very weird first impression of Blackstar since they're both kinda sorta fey. Aurien'd be wary of her at first since other fey tend to have it out for them, but would slowly let their guard down once they realize she's completely unrelated. She'd probably be able to figure out their fey influence despite their best attempts to hide it in Act 1.

Star sent a long letter with some of her treasures and self-made fabric protection potions, in the hope of exchanging some of their wing dust for her private study. She hopes this won't cross them bc she's too curious...

Owlcatober: Day 23 - Alternate Universe

This is. My hubris. This got out of hand. The original idea was much smaller. Now it is a testament to how I will make AUs of all my OCs. The only overlap between these three images (aside from Pathfinder) is Cerdinen, my own setting.

Haven't drawn our favorite Cleric in a while, so decided to do a lineless bust just for fun. Tristian my beloved 💛

Mino is VERY excited to find a fun outfit for Aurien - she's not immune to fun patterns and ugly-cute couture! This will be for a brunch date on the waterfront in Westcrown! Then to a little street market in the harbor...

Top: Floral print? TOO EASY! Did you expect a Parrot print too? NEVER! Mino is looking for something fun and unique here - she found this oversized, loose fitting top with kitties on it and immediately fell in love. The shopkeep informed her it's a Minkan aesthetic. Regardless, it's got the Aurien vibe: obnoxious print button-up. We'll put a simple undershirt beneath to make you comfortable if needed :)

Bottoms: Some simple beaten up brown baggy corduroys! Your kitty top will tuck right into these with a belt Mino has for you in the accessories section.

Shoes: Simple and comfy! Brown Oxfords/loafers. The panels on the sides are super cute and fashionable! Yet overall pretty understated.

Hair/Hat: ...Nothing! Your high ponytail is perfect as is. Cover it in a hat? Never.

Other Accessories: Your outfit will look super cute with this double stripe cloth belt! Between the kitty shirt and the brown pants? Ough, perfect. She's also recommending these boho-style accessories, similar to your old Shackles aesthetic! And, because... she really can't resist... this parrot bag. Hopefully Rotgut won't be too jealous.

Happy 3 years since I created Aurien, the most OC of all time. Consistently in my brain since creation... more of me in them than anticipated. Truly my writing and creations wouldn't be the same without them 💙💙
