Confession:

Cain looks so different in CG vs his actual sprite. His face in CG reminds me of Owen Hamze (V's face model from Devil May Cry series) and his sprite in-game looks like a completely different person. I was like....am I supposed to believe these two are the same person??? While the other LIs have more or less consistent looks in CGs and sprites. I was about to romance him but after seeing his sprite it was a no from me. No hate but I just find the difference pretty jarring.

GOD DAYUMN YES!!! so yup was scrolling through my Owen Hamze pinterest board and decided that I'm gonna draw V... that's literally it. I HAVE tried getting his tattoos 1:1 but in the end decided to just draw it somewhat resembling the original but more on the improvised side (if that makes any sense) Pretty proud of this one.

He’s been through a lot lately. Small gestures matter.

If you don’t know who he is, I’m kinda surprised since the DMC community talks about him so much, but that’s totally fine. No one knows about everyone. He’s V’s likeness actor, but that’s not what I’m here to talk about today. Yes, he helped bring to life a character that is beloved by us all, but that is besides the point at the moment.

I’m here to talk about him as a person. And he’s going through something terrible that no one should have to deal with.

He made a post today on his Instagram opening up about something that’s been going on in his life that is just horrible and no one should have to go through that. I’ve linked his Instagram below and the Reddit post this brought this situation to my attention. If you have a moment, please wish him well. I think he would be very appreciative of it. No judgement, just kindness. We all need that right now.

Do yourselves a fucking favor and un-stan Owen Hamze. He has been summoned to The House of Vibes for his Vibe Check. According to his insta meltdown: 

-People who are depressed use it as an excuse to be mean to him. - All they do is take drugs for their illnesses ( god forbid ) - Only people who have been to war or have been sexually abused can have PTSD. ( He’s a doctor now! ) - ~**Big Pharma**~ creates customers, not cures.  - “JuSt EaT rIgHt” to cure your depression. - And my personal fucking fave; Just “MAN UP” if you have depression! 

Owen does NOT pass the vibe check. To anyone that saw this absolute garbage and feels bad about having to take meds for your mental illness, DON’T FEEL BAD. This is an uninformed opinion from a fucking numbskull that has never known what it feels like to be helpless, hopeless or struggling with depression. I agree that meds may not be for everyone, but what this boy fails to realize is that EVERYONE is DIFFERENT. You cannot make blanket ( and offensive ) statements like that about mental health. It’s counterproductive and only helps to support stigma. 

And from someone like him that supports tobacco, I gotta fucking laugh. We stan V in this house, not Owen. Eat shit, buddy. He made his account private after this, so I can only assume someone told him off, lmao.
