1.Kajal prevents newborn from evil eye

Whoever said that is extremely wrong in their opinion. It is because applying kajal in the eyes of new born can be extremely bad for their eyes. Even if you apply it on skin of your baby, it can get infection that may be not good for them. Even if you’re preparing a homemade kajal for your baby, then it is not good for them in any way.

2.Breastmilk can treat ear infections

Breastmilk is said to be rich in all the nutrients necessary for a baby’s growth and development of immunity against any disease or infections. However, it is not at all beneficial for your baby’s ear infection. Do not put your breast milk in your baby’s ear in any case because it can cause an infection and worsen the problem.

3.A newborn baby should be given honey at the time of birth

Honey should never be given to a new born baby because it has a bacteria which can cause botulism in them.

4.Teething causes fever and diahorrea

This is not true because fever and diahorrea can only occur in a baby because of some infection that they can get while they’re putting things in their mouth, especially when they’re teething.

5.Cerelac can help the baby to sleep properly

Giving your baby a solid food in their first six months is not advisable because they cannot digest it and lead to stomach infection.

6.Wrapping a baby tightly helps their legs to straighten

This is not true because a baby’s bones are very sensitive and still in the developing stage therefore, wrapping them tightly can make them uncomfortable and cause problem.

7.Donkey milk is good for your baby’s immunity

A newborn baby should  be given breastmilk only and no other outside milk till they’re six months old at least.
