Somewhere west of Sudbury Ontario I was at the end of this train of cars on a two lane road and they were speeding and then a cop pulled out from a gravel patch but nobody changed speed! I think they were like 8-12 km over the speed limit so I like basically slammed the brakes to go the speed limit but it was only like 55 miles per hour and my car kept accelerating and the cop followed me i didn't know what was going like surely he saw my Texas plates I would've pulled me over in a heartbeat based on that alone but no... the cop car turned left onto a paved road after awhile and I caught up with the group of cars I was following and eventually found myself in the French part of Sudbury and walked around their neighborhood with my dog. It was kind of cold I think (mid September, getting close to dark) and the children looked at us cautiously from their very nice playground so eventually I got back on the road and spent the night at some motel with sulfurous water and got drunk on a bottle of wine I'd gotten someone in Michigan to buy me.
