Keeping the Right Perspective

There is a fine line here between truth and error. I realize we're walking a tightrope. We don't want to get off into error in anything. There is some teaching going around that man is God. Adam was god overearth, but you spell it with a little "g." He was certainly under God, but the earth was his responsibility.

We're created in the image of God. We were to be god (ruler) over the earth. But let's keep it in the right perspective. That is what got the devil into trouble: thinking he was God.

We're not God, and we're never going to be God. We are sons of God, joint-heirs with Jesus. We were created to be gods over the earth, but remember to spell it with a little "g."

In John 10:30-33, Jesus said:

I and my Father are one.

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Religious people always get disturbed when you even imply that you are righteous. Some churchesthat call themselves "Full Gospel" will not allow a certain music tape to be played in their services, because one verse says, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ." They don't want anyone singing about being the righteousness of God in Christ. They're still poor old sinners saved by grace.Religious people will get upset over what Jesus said about us, and what Paul said about us, even what God said about us. Religious spirits don't want you seeing yourself through the eyes of God.

This is where the dividing line is in these last days between people who see themselves the way God sees them, and people who see themselves the way religion sees them.

Religion sees you as a poor old sinner saved by grace, living on "barely-get-along street," never able to have anything in this life. If you're lucky, you'll make it to heaven where God will build you a cabin in the corner of gloryland. We must be delivered from such thinking if we are to fulfill God's plan for our lives.

Many of these people are right intheir hearts, but wrong in their heads. Their minds are made up and they don't want to be confused with the facts.

In John 10:34-36, Jesus is about to be stoned, and He says:

Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Notice He just took them back to their own law to prove His point. He said, "Don't you know that it's written in your scroll where God said, Ye are gods, to whom the Word of God came?"

Sometimes people say, "Well, I don't know about being in the image of God and in His likeness. Is there anyone else who believed it that way?"

Jesus believed it that way.

He preached them a sermon from Psalm 82.

God standeth in the congregationof the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

Psalm 82:1

God stands in the congregation of the mighty. The word translated mighty, is elohim. It is the same word translated gods at the end of the verse.

It literally reads this way, "Elohim standeth in the congregation of elohim, and judgeth among the elohim." God said it, and Jesus verified it being in their law.☕CHARLES CAPPS

Anyways, this is the God of Obsession, they don’t have a name yet, but they’re made of ribbon hands that tie you up and suffocate you and burn you the longer you’re held. Bet you totally can’t guess a significant plot point surrounding a character’s flaw :D

Murals are large scale paintings executed directly on walls, ceilings, and many other typically large flat, convex or concave surfaces.  They are presumed to be the oldest human art form, as cave paintings at numerous ancient human settlements suggest, and can be found all overEarth.  A wide variety of artistic styles are used in mural painting, and some (usually Trompe L'oeil murals) incorporate the use of techniques which combine Realism with a dramatic sense of scale and amazing depth, while Trompe L'oeil paintings are noted for an extraordinary sense of detail. A mural is usually commissioned by a wealthy patron, corporation, government or institution because it obviously represents an expensive endeavor.  For this reason, murals are often found in places like public and private schools, government buildings, and on the outside of buildings in urban, suburban and rural areas. Murals and those of us who create them often become well known, due to the large scale and themes.  (Leonardo da Vinci and Diego Rivera were both muralists.   Michelangelo was, of course, too.)   Qualified  muralists demonstrate a remarkably wide range of skills required to meet the special needs of murals.  (The requirements or 'needs' of mural painting are too numerous to note here.) Classically, a mural is applied directly to a prepared surface as with fresco which, of course, was used in the Sistine Chapel.   (Fresco is a wet plaster to which pigments are added. As the pigments dry, they fade slightly, but more importantly bond with the plaster.)  Today's murals are frequently painted with acrylics rather than oils which were the standard less than one hundred years ago.
