#/not serious /joking i dont think it was injured based on what i saw in the vid#i just think its funny my first thought was 'dont do that.'#but in my defense i care a lot about animals (even ones people dont like. even ones i dont like.) so my first thought was worrying for it#update: i ended up watching the vid bc i got too curious augh#or really more like couldnt stop wondering if the spider got hurt at all#from what i saw it didnt seem injured or in pain just kind of confused/afraid (which. i dont support scaring animals for video content)#i also couldnt tell from the video if this was a pet jumping spider or a wild one... it had no visible enclosure in the video#but they seemed to be taking care of it (dried it off after getting it wet)#so#overall not the worst human-animal interaction ive seen online but i wish they hadnt continued AFTER they observed it was upset by water#animal harm tw#animal cruelty tw#tagging just in case#final verdict: dont do that /serious /not joking
