How does being 300 lbs. work? Like, do you feel the fat just hanging heavily off different parts of your body (especially that sphere of a belly you got)? Do you feel the fat jiggling with its own momentum when you walk and move? Do you feel like you have to heave it around or like its weighing you down and tires you out from having to exert yourself against it (since fat is jello-like dead weight that just hangs there and is not muscle)? This interesting, as a skinny person who has never to dealt with being out of breath or tired from feeling there is so much weight and fat to carry around.

tbh. i don’t notice it much?? the only time i feel “heavy” is after eating a LOT or getting out of a pool or something, lol!!

you gotta remember that it’s not just “dead weight,” it’s an extension of myself. i don’t necessarily notice it unless im doing something strenuous (multiple flights of stairs for example, i can do about 3/4 before i need a break haha).

i don’t feel like i’m heaving anything yet (unless i’m braless and have to push my boobs together so i can cross my arms lol), it doesn’t feel like dead weight..? i don’t know how to explain how it feels tbh. i’ve gained slowly enough that the weight feels natural, i don’t need to account for it when i move yet.

even though it’s the common answer for what being fat feels like, it’s not as if i’m carrying several heavy loads. i’m not tired because i feel heavy, i’m tired because my body can’t power all of me as efficiently as it could otherwise.

does this make sense?
