Leon having been devoid of any kind of affection for well over a decade and Fabrice having bucketloads to give and no reservations towards who gets it has my brain in shambles ouuug closed off and severely touch starved Leon being given the love hes been missing all this time but also Fabrice actually fully falling for him and slowly working through his awful commitment issues bc for once he actually wants to stay with somebody. But also its a rocky ass road bc hes so deeply scared of being held down he ends up dropping him and running away without a word like he usually does then realising afterwards wait fuck. No this feels horrid i really fucking miss him. But Leon would n o t be quick to forgive ohhh hed be pissed, Fabrice gets some sense kicked into him by Melanie and probably some therapy and tries to go back and make amends and Leons like lol. Eat shit and die you showed your true colours and im not gonna let you play me again, fuck off before you get a bullet to the head. And its really the kicker that gets Fabrice to realise he has issues and its hurting people he cares about, he feels like hes not truly needed by anybody because he refuses to let anyone close enough to feel that way about him hes the problem!!! And it would take them a lottt of time to reconcile, Leon deeply internalises his feelings so i can see him holding harsh grudges and especially for this thats such a personal betrayal. But he would also be the one to reach back out since Fabrice wouldnt be that persistent, he got his answer and he'd respect it. Leon dwells on it for months and finds himself missing the affection really fucking bad, it would take a lot for him to give a second chance but im delusional and want them to kiss so he does!!!! ORR another scenario where Leon is hired to assassinate Fabrice and at the same time Fabrice takes a bounty to catch Leon and theyre repeatedly running circles round each other trying to fufill their own job whilst avoiding being killed and fall in love through that bc im a sucker for phantom thief esque scenarios and this one has an extra funky twisy to it. I also have a little au where Leon leaves the shadow decree and travels around with Fabrice bc he really is a wanderer at heart thats something that will never change, either they go long distance or Leon goes with him and i think it would be neat if they had a little campervan and Leon learns what its like to actually Live again and NONE of this is comprehensible im in college rn just fermenting in my seat i cant work bc theyre crowding up my brain goDDD FUCK THRYRE HELPING EACH OTHER HEAL AND FIND THE MEANINGFUL LOVE AND COMPANIONSHIP THAT THEY BOTH LACK (especially Leon bro is Horridly deprived of human connection and he doesnt even realise it) DESPITE THEIR FLAWS AND DIFFERENCES.
