Think of this. The second gen captains all pining over Ennoshita. They all have a group chat where they argue who would be the best for Ennoshita, roasting each other, or just straight up rants about Ennoshita himself. And they all have these different attitudes, Akaashi is all smug thinking about how he’s gonna be with him, Shirabu is for some reason in denial?? Futakuchi tries to be smooth and flirt with Ennoshita but ends up short circuiting, Terushima just using the cheesiest pick up lines in existence, and Yahaba is just being Yahaba. Ennoshita is a little oblivious and think there all just adding onto his trouble but at the same time he is having a gay panic about all them. I’m sorry just really love Ennoshita and second gen captain ships!! Also hope you have a good day <3

If the tropes and characterizations seem outdated, it’s because this idea was conceived in 2016, just as the last episodes of season 2 were airing. This started out as a single-page comic, and then it spiraled out of control over the years. I’m pretty fond of it, and I wanted to finally get it down on paper.  

Also, I know Agamemnon’s a dick, but I love Ushiwaka, really. It’s just Shiratorizawa as the cast of the Oresteia is extremely funny to me.

(The first draft of this comic took itself even less seriously but as I was drawing the Oikawa panels I got weirdly invested in how he would feel acting out those scenes and I actually got a bit emotional?)
