Some thoughts on this graph posted by Alec Stapp on US overlegalization:
The US absolutely has way more lawyers than we need!
Something that comes up a lot is how much richer the US is than (most) other developed countries when you look at GDP per capita. This is certainly true, and GDP per capita is the best "single" figure to use for these kind of stats. But it is still a loose metric, and finer grain analysis does reveal chinks. Healthcare is the biggest one - the US spends at least ~6% more of its GDP on healthcare than peer countries and has worse or similar health outcomes, that GDP does not translate into more wealth. Legal services are another category one can look at; the US spends 1-2% of its GDP on legal services; clearly some of that is needed, but the waste there is likely substantial. (Before anyone takes this as to be some US-specific critique, other countries *also* have large chunks of their GDP that doesn't generate much value, you can't shave off points in one column and leave the other untouched)
This chart is revealing but you don't want to go off halfcocked; law is not like mining ingots, its an embedded social system, and how many lawyers you 'need' is often more about who does what kind of job. You can see this easily in the Poland example - Poland does not have 1 'lawyer' for every 3700 residents, it has a different system where legal advisors do most of the work lawyers would do in the US. But more complexly, take, France. France has way less lawyers than the US or Italy; but France has a good deal more civil servants (its hard to estimate, since teachers and police are lumped into these categories so often, but it seems consistent). What is really happening here is that in France, the government is self-empowered to decide on legal matters; the relevant bureaucracies determine their remit, regulate business, handle appeals, and so on. In the US that system is outsourced to lawyers, and litigation is used more extensively as an axis of policy. The two different job-titles are actually doing the same work in both countries, so of course the US has more lawyers and France more civil servants, they do more. So this graph is way less revealing than you might think. (I think the US system is awful for doing this, but that is a separate topic)
Wtf is up with Italy??

hello claire, love your blog! i want to ask you a question about vietnamese fandom of thai pop culture, is it very big or just dedicated? i did notice that i often can find something translated into vietnamese (especially if we are talking about tpop interviews) while i can't find eng subs for it, and i started noticing it even more after a couple of weeks ago you pointed out another vietnamese blogger who has more access to obscure thai BLs than non-vietnamese bloggers. i am curious now, what's up with that? thank you in advance!
hiiiii \( ̄︶ ̄*\))
i loveeee getting questions about thai pop culture and vietnamese fandom. for the short answer, i would say that it's both a combination of dedicated fandom and a sizable fandom. but please bare with me in my lengthy elaboration of this phenomenon...
i think the first form of 'thai pop culture' that was popularised and successfully exported to viet nam was thai lakorns. in a similar vein to older makjang korean dramas, thai lakorns had very soap opera and dramatic plots that were intriguing to viewers (mostly older grandmas who were at home). it was as if at a certain point, when vietnamese tv channels were running out of kdramas to buy the airing rights to, they looked to their neighboring countries dramas (notably, vietnamese networks were also buying rights to filipino, indian, spanish telenovelas so it wasn't just thai lakorns that they were outsourcing).
and so this was like around early 2010s, which also coincided with the emergence of thai bl series. even though i have absolutely no statistics to back this argument up, i would say that the familiarity that a portion of vietnamese audience had with thai lakorns, thai television, thai language also made it easy for them to get into thai bl series. with a number of thai-vietnamese lakorn fansubbers who were already subbing for thai series, they also took on the fansubbing for thai bl series, since they knew there was a niche but large audience who wanted to watch those series.
that being said, i wanted to make a distinction here because i wouldn't say that the vietnamese lakorn audience are the same audience who watch thai bls or they are the same fujoshi fandom who consume all things queer love/boys' love/girls' love related. but there is definitely a huge overlap between the fujoshis/sao y audience and the lakorn audience, which ended up as a very niche yet dedicated audience -> which was the biggest motivation for thai subbers to take on the subbing for thai bl series and anything related for certain thai actors who had been in bl series which are often lakorns that they've done before.
and i think you're referring to this post of mine about me finding out that @nonkul is a fellow vietnamese which allow us to have more access to "obscure lakorns". rather than this having to do with thai fansubbers for bl series/bl series related content/"bl actors" content, i think there's just more of vietnamese networks which are committed to outsourcing thai lakorns to air them (especially ones with big lakorn names attached to it like mai davika, baifern pimchanok, james jirayu, yaya urassaya, tor thanapob, film thanapat, esther supreeleela...). there are many local vietnamese networks who provide their own streaming services like tv360, fptplay... so they would often go to these film/tv series festivals to "shop" for thai series, allowing them to provide them exclusively in viet nam on both tv or their streaming site.
but to go back to the main subject of your question which is thai pop culture/tpop interviews, i would say that it's very much the result of 2-3 dedicated fansubbers with an equally dedicated audience who are willing to engage/interact with the content put out by the fansubbers. i've also come across a number of former kpop fans converted into tpop fandoms, so i could also see where the dedication-ness is coming from in trying to sub actor-related content.
but that also means that not very actors/ships will get dedicated fansubbers though. i think it mostly depends on how lucky a ship/an actor is to have a long time lakorn/thai series watcher/subber take an interest in them and they'll start basically subbing everything related to a series/ship/actor/group basically. it really does help that a majority of thai lakorn/series watchers have been watching thai series for so long, they're more likely to pick up the language along the way -> it's easier for you to see vietnamese translations for these kinds of content from thai actors/singers.
i know there are a lot of assumptions and generalised statements in my answer and it may not be the case for all the vietnamese fansubbers out there so please just take this with a grain of salt as it's mostly my perspective, after talking to a few fansubbers here and there. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
but i was really happy to get this question in my inbox though. i'm always over the moon to be sharing perspective of a vietnamese lakorn/thai series/tpop enthusiast.

Why Canadian Companies Prefer Digital Marketing Agencies over In-house Teams
In the ever-changing digital landscape of Canada, companies big and small have to make one very important decision: develop an in-house digital marketing team or hire the services of a dedicated agency. Far from being a routine operational issue, this choice has great implications for its competitive position, market relevance, and general growth trajectory. With the digital platform becoming increasingly complicated and the stakes of online visibility soaring high, a trend has definitely been witnessed across Canadian companies: that of choosing between the expertise and agility provided by digital marketing agencies over in-house teams.
Expertise and Specialization
This has been one of the major reasons for the tectonic shift in the approach of Canadian enterprises. Digital marketing is not a monolithic discipline but a constellation of specialized areas, each with its own particular demands in expertise. From SEO virtuosos to social media savants, content marketing maestros to PPC prodigies, agencies house a cadre of specialists under one roof. Such an assemblage of talent allows businesses to tap into a wellspring of knowledge that would be prohibitively expensive and logistically challenging to cultivate internally.
What is more, the digital marketing field keeps on changing 24/7, since that is when algorithms, best practices, and consumer behaviors change at the speed of light. This places agencies in a much better place to be updated due to their focus and the heterogeneity of their client base. They undertake heavy continuous learning and serious means of professional development investment to ensure that their strategies remain at the cutting edge of industry changes. This means a commitment to staying current translates into better marketing solutions for their clients-more effectively and innovatively.
Agency versus in-house: financial implications are huge and multi-dimensional. At face value, the retainers or project fees associated with agency services might appear huge. However, a close look will reveal that this is not true on the cost-efficiency level. By outsourcing an agency, a business may significantly reduce overheads like salaries, benefits, office space, and equipment, which are kept by full-time employees.
The next strong economic case lies in the fact that it can make that great sense of scalability and flexibility. It eases the opportunity to adjust marketing spend against seasonal demands, special campaign needs, or fluctuating economies without getting into the complexities of hiring or drastically reducing an internal team. That elasticity of resource allocation permits better budget efficiency and implores optimization of Marketing ROI.
Technology and Tools
The digital marketing arena is the haven for sophisticated tools and platforms-most of which come with heavy price tags, coupled with steep learning curves. Agencies, able to use economies of scale, invest in a wide array of premium software and technologies that would be financially unviable for most individual businesses to acquire. From advanced SEO tools to full-service social media management platforms, agencies arm their clients with the technological arsenal needed to drive marketing effectiveness.
Besides tools, agencies often have state-of-the-art analytics and reporting. These systems allow for the granular tracking of campaign performance, consumer behavior, and ROI. Insights gained from these advanced analytics become the powerhouse that drives businesses into making data-informed decisions and fine-tuning their marketing approaches with strategy precision.
Strategic Objectivity
One of the most overlooked benefits of hiring a digital marketing agency is the fresh perspective it brings to the challenges a brand faces. Sometimes a company's internal teams, despite being quite familiar with the brand, can suffer from tunnel vision or be stuck in paradigms. Agencies, drawing on diverse experience across industries and markets, have become a fertile source of new solutions and unconventional creative approaches, which for those within the organization can be virtually invisible.
This objectivity extends to performance appraisal as well. Large agencies are usually held to very tight KPIs through which they are accountable to deliver measurable results. The setup ensures a very transparent culture of business betterment, whereby the agencies fall under pressure to prove their strategies right and value-proposition-valid on a regular basis.
Time and Resource Management
For most Canadian businesses, more so for the SMEs, the job of dedicating or committing resources to build and maintain a fully-fledged in-house digital marketing team is surely going to distract them from their core business activities. By outsourcing such functions to an agency, this energy is freed for product development, customer service, and other mission-critical activities.
Furthermore, more often than not, agencies are in a much better position than in-house units to implement marketing initiatives. With the established processes, loads of already-vetted resources on standby, and a lot of previous work to its credit, an agency can consequently save time throughout the process from conceiving of the strategy to launching the campaign. This agility is paramount in the fast-paced digital landscape, where usually the early bird catches the worm.
Many of these digital marketing agencies boast of having an extensive industry network, including influencers, media, and technology partners that can open various doors of opportunity to collaboration. Beta programs and early access to new marketing channels/features fall into this category. To Canadian businesses, this is quite an invaluable asset that networks with potential new customers.
Moreover, most agencies have good relations with key platforms, such as Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn, which provide them with the latest features, premium support, and, in some cases, almost privileged rates. More probably than not, such partnerships are passed on as tangible benefits to the clients to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their digital marketing initiatives.
As a sustenance of risks
The regulatory requirements associated with digital marketing, encompassing privacy, advertising standards, and the specific policies of these diverse digital platforms, make hazardous minefields for businesses. This adds further pressure on digital marketing agencies because they possess specialized knowledge and experience in ensuring that their clients work in conformance with these regulations. This becomes even more crucial in instances involving Canada, where there are regulations like CASL, which is anti-spam law dictating strict requirements on electronic messaging.
Additionally, the agencies adapt by nature through adaptation to market changes. Their diversified client bases and regular activities with businesses in various industries enable them to identify and respond to the change in consumer behavior, change in technology, or economic conditions very fast. Adapting to the situation at hand helps hedge against potential risks associated with sudden changes in the market which could render several marketing strategies irrelevant.
Performance and Results
What's arguably most convincing in the move towards agency partnerships is the attention to accountability and measurement of performance. Most of the agencies operate on performance-based models with clear KPIs and reporting structures that generate tangible means through which firms realize their marketing return on investment. In other words, therefore, the approach is results-based, with continuous optimization of marketing to align with business objectives.
As such, agencies can contribute to performing competitive benchmarking. With many years of experience across industries and data, they can paint a view for a business regarding its relative standing in digital marketing performance from its competition and industry benchmarks. Such a comparative perspective may also help them zero in on opportunities for performance improvement and areas of differentiation.
The Future of Digital Marketing Partnerships in Canada
The trend of Canadian businesses partnering with specialized marketing agencies is showing no signs of abatement in the evolving digital marketing landscape. The recipe combining experience, the advantage of being cost-effective, technological advances, and strategic value when working with an agency makes compelling economic sense. And, of course, in-house teams will always have their role; it's actually quite important for big organizations. The passed "advantages to this kind of approach are flexibility and comprehensive capabilities available to organizations of any size.".
The collaboration with a digital marketing agency is considered an investment in terms of growth strategy and competitiveness. Increasingly, this is a cost consideration that Canadian executives are factoring in as Canadian businesses strive to find their way through digital complexities—and as a result, a way to innovate the catalyst for success in the long term.

Unlocking Value Creation: How Private Equity Firms Benefit from Strategic Outsourcing
Private equity firms prefer efficiency. That is why they adopt strategic outsourcing. Doing so ensures that private equity (PE) professionals have an advantageous position vital to unlocking value creation. In PE strategies, that value creation must encompass all portfolio companies. This post will explain how private equity firms benefit from strategic outsourcing.
The improvement of operational efficiency translates to better profitability, and professional PE strategists recognize this. After all, similar enhancements boost the companies’ growth potential, making them attractive investments to future buyers.
The Need for Private Equity Outsourcing
PE firms can benefit from additional leverage and outsiders’ specialized expertise in investment research services. They can, for instance, successfully decrease costs while fostering more core competencies. Therefore, it is no wonder that faster business transformations powered by strategic outsourcing are popular. Eventually, portfolio firms will yield higher returns on investments, allowing for better exit options.
How Can Strategic Outsourcing Benefit Private Equity Value Creation?
1. Cost Efficiency and Operational Improvements
One immediate advantage of embracing strategic outsourcing in PE activities is cost reduction. It not only saves tremendous expenses but also facilitates economies of scale. As a result, the efficiency of the processes skyrocketed.
PE firms and strategists have been dealing with standardization challenges. However, professional private equity support teams sport some of the latest in tools and technology to address them. Similar to how an IT enterprise outsources operations to independent specialists, many cost overheads will undergo distribution between the private equity firms and their external associates.
The sharing of liabilities may involve maintenance, tech upgrades, and cybersecurity considerations. That also entails more effective resource allocation to protect the interests of clients and support providers.
Outsourcing further allows PE firms to initiate operational improvements rapidly. In this way, PE firms can leverage the expertise of third-party providers to acquire best practices or access the latest technology.
2. Focus on Core Competencies
In an industry with high competition, focusing on core competencies is critical for portfolio companies. Otherwise, they will struggle to grow and differentiate themselves. Strategic outsourcing gives a private equity company the ability to transfer some of the auxiliary tasks to others. Doing so helps secure more management bandwidth, which will be necessary to concentrate on integral business activities that deliver robust growth.
This approach allows leadership teams to focus more time and effort on innovation. They can also enrich customer engagement and strategic initiatives by focusing more on process and vision alignment. Consequently, private equity firms will witness a faster business expansion trajectory.
More agile business operations to become a stronger market player will further PE firms’ objectives, like seamlessly securing the most attractive acquisition deals.
3. Quicker Workflow Transformations and Growth Initiatives
PE firms want to take portfolio companies, focus on value creation, and exit the investments at better returns. In other words, rapid growth acceleration allows private equity firms to exit earlier or ensure better gains. Strategic outsourcing allows scaling capabilities and speeds up the changes, operational or structural, for agility.
Therefore, if the firm wants to enter new geographies or experiment with alternative trade channels, PE outsourcing service providers could help. They will optimize the capital needed to conduct deal operations while supply chain and leadership evaluation become straightforward.
Conclusion
Modern private equity firms use strategic outsourcing as the most effective pathway for value creation across their portfolios. They have acknowledged that outsourcing can help reduce costs, create operational efficiency, and prioritize core practices.
Besides, screening companies, entering deals, and exiting the market becomes easier as the related sharing of liabilities accelerates growth and resell strategy implementations. Given the hurdles in finding the best talent to plan, lead, and execute private equity transactions, the worth of strategic outsourcing can only be appreciated.

Atom: The Beginning & AI Cybersecurity
Atom: The Beginning is a manga about two researchers creating advanced robotic AI systems, such as unit A106. Their breakthrough is the Bewusstein (Translation: awareness) system, which aims to give robots a "heart", or a kind of empathy. In volume 2, A106, or Atom, manages to "beat" the highly advanced robot Mars in a fight using a highly abstracted machine language over WiFi to persuade it to stop.
This may be fiction, but it has parallels with current AI development in the use of specific commands to over-run safety guides. This has been demonstrated in GPT models, such as ChatGPT, where users are able to subvert models to get them to output "banned" information by "pretending" to be another AI system, or other means.
There are parallels to Atom, in a sense with users effectively "persuading" the system to empathise. In reality, this is the consequence of training Large Language Models (LLM's) on relatively un-sorted input data. Until recent guardrail placed by OpenAI there were no commands to "stop" the AI from pretending to be an AI from being a human who COULD perform these actions.
As one research paper put it:
"Such attacks can result in erroneous outputs, model-generated hate speech, and the exposure of users’ sensitive information." Branch, et al. 2022
There are, however, more deliberately malicious actions which AI developers can take to introduce backdoors.
In Atom, Volume 4, Atom faces off against Ivan - a Russian military robot. Ivan, however, has been programmed with data collected from the fight between Mars and Atom.
What the human researchers in the manga didn't realise, was the code transmissions were a kind of highly abstracted machine level conversation. Regardless, the "anti-viral" commands were implemented into Ivan and, as a result, Ivan parrots the words Atom used back to it, causing Atom to deliberately hold back.
In AI cybersecurity terms, this is effectively an AI-on-AI prompt injection attack. Attempting to use the words of the AI against itself to perform malicious acts. Not only can this occur, but AI creators can plant "backdoor commands" into AI systems on creation, where a specific set of inputs can activate functionality hidden to regular users.
This is a key security issue for any company training AI systems, and has led many to reconsider outsourcing AI training of potential high-risk AI systems. Researchers, such as Shafi Goldwasser at UC Berkley are at the cutting edge of this research, doing work compared to the key encryption standards and algorithms research of the 1950s and 60s which have led to today's modern world of highly secure online transactions and messaging services.
From returning database entries, to controlling applied hardware, it is key that these dangers are fully understood on a deep mathematical, logical, basis or else we face the dangerous prospect of future AI systems which can be turned against users.
As AI further develops as a field, these kinds of attacks will need to be prevented, or mitigated against, to ensure the safety of systems that people interact with.

#SupportHumanArtists
Here is a translation of three posts about the arrival of AI in art, originally written in French, that I wrote three months ago. The debate has continued since then, but the basis of my thinking remains the same. What has changed the most since I wrote these posts is the widespread use of this technology. What was once a fear is becoming more and more tangible.
Midjourney / AI in art Part 1 : First impressions.
What questions me the most, concerning Midjourney and the arrival of AI in the field of graphic arts, is not so much the capacity of AI to execute scripts, with renderings as bluff as they are, but our capacity to delegate even our imagination. We read here and there that it's just another tool, like the arrival of photography or Photoshop (developped in Part 2⇊ ). But Midjourney is not a simple medium that produces stylistic effects, it's a scripted artist-bot that composes on demand by relying on a database that is itself fed by our artistic productions. It's not only a tool, it's a paradigm shift in the world of graphic creation.
Midjourney (+AI art) will not impact everyone in the same way. As a spectator, one can observe the adventure with an amused eye or even let oneself be carried away by the strange and dark creations very directly evocative of Beksinski's work, the organic visuals taken from Mucha's work (a bit blended), the disproportionate landscapes largely evoking the concept art of famous video games and other more or less strange creations.
But as an artist, we know the sinuous path of creation, the one on which Midjourney relies. This path that inspires, that pushes us to surpass ourselves, to imagine what doesn't exist or to try to remember what does exist in order to transcribe it. It is a force that pulls upwards, that imposes a dynamic, an energy, to take decisions and a direction. Art is not only an object of pleasure to satisfy a spectator, it is a complete step which implies to put in movement its intellect, its senses, its emotions and to constitute a coherent corpus by gathering this whole. Not everyone is capable of constituting this coherent corpus - which like all work requires experience - but everyone, one day, tries and has fun creating. This is a life-saving dynamic, which is often a good sign of mental health for both the individual and society.
Midjourney imposes a much more passive role and I fear that instead of expanding our creative potential it will only weaken it. I feel that if we delegate our ability to imagine, we take away the great tool that art is to develop our human genius and at the same time the possibility to constitute a creative and flourishing civilization.
We can be happy with the visual festival that is taking place at the moment, or not. But, in my opinion, we should not simply think in terms of achievements but in terms of consequences on the development of the individual in a broad sense.
Not to mention the multiple questions and reflections of all kinds that this raises:
Copyright management?
How will we classify the artists who will use MJ's productions to constitute a body of work? Art competitions are already affected by this phenomenon.
A large part of the works used by the database to train MJ are not free of rights and have nevertheless participated in its development, but it is a lucrative application. The full version of MJ is not free.
Once again, the means of production are being accelerated, at a lower cost, at the service of a private company and at the expense of a potentially gigantic number of people.
One day, hypothetically, AI will have in its database more self-generated images than all the human productions put together and will start to compose self-referenced visuals. I would be curious to have your opinions, as diverse as they are?
Midjourney / AI in art Part 2 : On the human genius.
Short version: When we outsource a skill, one of those that contribute to our development as an individual from a psychic point of view, we add proportionally as much comfort to our lives as we potentially weaken ourselves. I am not questioning the tools that take over our most thankless and physical tasks, those that allow us to eliminate the drudgery and repetitiveness of work, in which case they are saving technologies. I am talking about the outsourcing of our intellectual forces, of our creativity, of our inventiveness. What I defend is not my status as an artist, I will adapt. What I defend is the psychic development, the human genius.
Long version: One must characterize the tools and not confuse them. All the tools do not fit in the same category, even if they belong to the same class, they are not the intermediaries of the same forces and one does not delegate the same tasks. A pencil and a computer are tools, but they do not have the same impact on our civilizations.
Comparing the arrival of AI in art to the arrival of photography is a tempting parallel - and even interesting because we have precise documentation on the period, a testimony to take a step back - but it doesn't seem relevant to me. The camera has upset a figurative approach in search of hyperrealism, but we are talking about a stylistic revolution. A camera is not a tool for producing works of art, it has not been thought in this sense. The camera is a medium in the strict sense, which can be used to produce a work of art. A tool that has no database to draw on, does not compose itself by having ingested the different rules of composition, has no subject matter (MJ has, in a way, subject matter. He organizes it according to your request). Once the camera is at the end of your arm, you have to use your imagination and give intention to that moment until you reach your ideal mental representation.
You can fumble and refine a MJ-generated image for hours, it's true. But you can also not do that and achieve a result, and that is the huge chasm between these two technologies. Comparing photography and MJ is like comparing a map and a GPS. If you never learned how to find your way in space before using a GPS, you don't develop skills that can be useful in many aspects of life: understanding distances, managing space and time. These are skills that make you autonomous, that offer a little more freedom and that help by extension to develop your critical mind. Delegating your imagination or your creativity to an AI, without having learned to develop them, is the same problem, the same weakening of your potential.
Of course, MJ can be an interesting tool to pursue one's artistic path. But it is still necessary to have made an artistic journey before using it. One can quickly obtain a very beautiful result by using this tool, and even obtain recognition by this means, without asking all these questions. But the important thing is the path that leads us to the result, that is what elevates us as individuals. And that which elevates us as individuals participates in elevating us as a society.
Everything that allows us to delegate, everything that allows us to go faster, is and will be used. It is not a question of "if", it is a question of "when". So the question is not whether or not we accept the arrival of this technology. The question is (especially for professional artists): how does one develop one's opinion on this topic, with what sources and what basis of reflection? And then, for the artists, how do we talk about it to the public?
Midjourney / AI in art part 3 : On Arts and Crafts, William Morris and the Avant-Garde of Art.
I read here and there that one must question one's artistic approach, and adopt an avant-garde approach in reaction to the arrival of AI in art.
The function of a large number of craftsmen was radically transformed following industrialization, so much so that they have never found equivalent positions. A cabinetmaker, a jeweler, a dressmaker or a carpenter no longer does the same work as before the advent of industrial production. Either these craftsmen have accepted the evolution of their trade and their work has lost its meaning, or they try to continue their artisanal approach with all the economic problems they have to face (accompanied by the incessant justifications necessary to legitimize their approaches to a public that continues to compare their production to an industrial mode of production). When asked to reinvent themselves, they ended up machining furniture at Ikea, fitting out industrial-style bookcases in plywood, enlarging rings in supermarkets and patterning coats for the luxury industry in cold sheds. The quality of craftsmanship is declining, know-how tends to be lost and finishes are less meticulous, being alienated to a mode of production that optimizes and simplifies to produce faster in greater numbers.
The taste of the public has become accustomed by impregnation to this industrial style which has become the aesthetic culture of our time, and we ask for more. The common mistake being to think that we have developed an attraction for this style by taste, but it is not a style, it is a mode of production which has flooded the world and for which we have developed the affection that we have for what has accompanied us for a long time. A poisoned comforter.
The artist thought he was preserved by his status, detached from his brothers and sisters of the Crafts. But the separation has not always been so clear-cut - in the past, artists and craftsmen walked the same paths, as all our European cities attest - the evolution of the culture we constitute together can choose to downgrade or reclassify the craftsman and the artist according to changing criteria. When we are invited to change our approach to adopt the avant-garde approach to art, we are downgraded from our current function as artists and invited to join the history of artisans.
If one asks the question of whether or not to change one's artistic approach towards an avant-garde approach to art, in order to maintain one's function as an artist, in reaction to a technological evolution, one postulates that one must accept to survive in an ultra-competitive environment and run after the evolution of technologies (evolution of technology is supposed to serve the human being, isn't it?).
Is this really the way we want to think, what we aspire to?
Is it not more interesting to build a civilization by asking questions in order to offer a function that makes sense to everyone, including craftsmen, artists who do not claim to be at the avant-garde of art and "artisans of art" (and we can extend to multiple sectors)? William Morris already addressed the question in these terms more than a century ago. Everyone should be able to access dignity through their work, to find meaning in it by having the feeling of working on something useful and beautiful (useful and beautiful being contextualized in Morris' words). I am convinced that there will always be avant-garde artistic productions and so much the better, but I will always keep in mind the reflection around Arts&Crafts which offered such an interesting glimpse of what could be offered by the union and diversity of talents.

Elevate Your Project with Cutting-Edge Animation Services
Today, partnering with an animation services company is a staple for video advertising - and there are a lot of good reasons why. For many, it has become a crucial part of their story because its cost is less than other forms of video marketing and animation’s capability to spark emotions.
But you might be asking yourself, if 2D Animation Service Providers are that crucial, why do I need an agency? Why can I do it myself?
What are the benefits of partnering with an animation services company?
Business can focus on creative imagination
Reduce prices for video-editing software
Capture the core of your brand
I. Cost and budget
When you partner with professional 2D animation solutions, you can be assured of top-quality solutions at affordable prices.
Ii. Personalize The Brand
If there’s something that 2D animation services provide that standard school video marketing doesn’t, it’s humanizing your brand. Whether it’s a 3D or 2D animation, everything about your video can be made to fit your business persona.
Another advantage of using animation solutions is that you can encrypt your brand.
A personalized brand can also lead to:
Brand Engagement
An animation services company can also help you soft-sell your services or products. Video animation allows us to digest content on visual and audio levels all at once, so it gives us an enhanced idea of the core message.
So whether you use 2D animation services for a company timeline or product launch, they can give life to concepts that viewers may struggle to engage with.
More visual prompts and less text can keep the audience engaged for a long period. Also, video animation especially appeals to every age. This is as it elicits a sense of reminiscence in every one of us. Ensure your animations are branded in your business colors
Why should your company use an animation services company?
Well, we’ve already drawn why animation solutions themselves are so beneficial for:
Brand awareness
Brand engagement
Embodying and personalizing your brand
As to why you should partner with an animation agency, there are a lot of reasons: 1. Kit and Software
If you don’t already own the best and most advanced animation software, then you might be shocked - animation software isn’t low-cost!
The good news is, an animation services company will have all of this organized, and they can hit the ground running, for instance, with whiteboard animation production. 2. Time
At the very least, it takes months to learn basic 2D animation services, whereas an animation agency will have a devoted professional with years of experience. And your time has just as much of a financial value as kit and software. 3. Investing In Assets
Video animation can also be an immortal video marketing asset.
This is because your animation can be used across different media. You could utilize an agency’s animation services to create an explainer video that could equally be used as a brand launch.
Plus, you can boost engagement by hosting it on your social channels, and video content is easily shareable.
Last but not least, 2D animation services can fit anywhere in your sales cone- whether that means entertaining existing ones or enticing new consumers.
4. Good Quality
An animation services company is going to be versed in styles ranging from whiteboard animation production and 2D through to 3D animated videos.
Making sure your data is mobile-friendly is key 5. Creativity
Like we said, once you’ve stopped trying to learn Maya and Blender, you can focus on what really matters - your meaning.
For best video animation to work, you need to translate your brand’s mission statement engagingly and concisely. And by outsourcing the complex elements to an animation agency, you can emphasize this part of the project.
Wrapping up
An animation services company can save you money and time, all while boosting your brand’s engagement. By outsourcing to an animation agency that can ensure the animation style you select reflects your brand vision, you can confirm that your brand’s story gets told right.
You can cut down on the up-front costs related to trying to learn animation yourself or hiring an animator. Plus, animation solutions can even be more affordable than live filming!
Animated video can flawlessly capture your business’s ideals with engaging and fun characters and content. With the rise in the status of animation for video advertising purposes, you’d be crazy to miss the boat.

By partnering with Sam Singh Tripler, businesses can confidently navigate the complex landscape of lead generation and unlock opportunities for sustained growth and success.
To achieve revenue growth, it is essential to enhance the volume of leads your organization acquires. While it is plausible to attempt to resolve this independently, outsourcing this responsibility to a lead generation firm would yield better results.
Benefits Of Hiring A Lead Generation Company
Results Oriented
One of the foremost advantages of partnering with Sam Singh Tripler is the liberation it affords you from the daily grind of your real estate business operations. Their primary objective is to yield optimal results for your organization, which serves as a testament to their proficiency and value proposition. By enlisting the services of an agency to drive fresh leads to your website, you can divert your attention toward pursuing other activities, goals, and objectives.
Expertise
Attaining proficiency in generating leads from scratch is a viable undertaking. With a plethora of available resources and a steadfast commitment, one can acquire the requisite skills to navigate the intricacies of lead generation independently. However, in circumstances where exigencies demand swift action, it may not be feasible for an enterprise to await an employee's maturation in this domain. In such scenarios, outsourcing lead generation to professionals furnishes an expeditious solution that can promptly yield sales and boost business growth.
They Offer Informative Content
The importance of content marketing is widely recognized by the majority of individuals. It has been observed that while outbound marketing can be quite expensive, content marketing generates over three times the number of leads at a cost that is 62% less. However, being aware of these statistics does not necessarily translate into having the requisite time and expertise to create high-quality content that is engaging and informative. By outsourcing this task, one can ensure the delivery of exceptional material across multiple platforms.

Keeping Up With The Competition Requires Your Agency To Use White Label SEO Services
There is a strong competition among businesses in every sector as the Digital World continues to evolve, allowing them to establish an effective online presence in order to compete. A lot of competition is out there, so it is challenging for search engine optimization (SEO) agencies to compete alone in providing premium quality services. It is here that white label SEO services can be of great help. What are the reasons why agencies need white label SEO services to remain competitive in modern markets.
Managing projects better is the key to success
A white label SEO service allows agencies to focus on their core competencies without having to worry about the technical aspects of using a white label service. A professional SEO company takes over the search engine marketing, back-end SEO, white label Google Ads, and content production duties. It results in a better project management process and improved outcomes for the client as a result.
The diversification of our services
Partnering with white label SEO services, an agency can be able to provide a more comprehensive range of services to its clients. The advantage of relying on white label SEO services rather than having a set service catalogue is that an agency can expand its services portfolio through new packages. It is a profitable business model that enables an agency to expand its portfolio and position itself as an authority in the field they are in.
Increased Efficiency and Profits
Working together with white label SEO service providers enables agencies to increase their efficiency and profits, in a way that they cannot attain alone. In this scenario, the agencies will be able to focus on client relationships, sales, and other primary tasks, while the white label SEO partnership will be taking over the deliverables. It is because of this reason that agencies are able to expand their business without having to hire more personnel or incur more operational costs.
We are experts and innovators in our field
White label SEO services have specialists in search engine optimization, content creation, social media marketing, and other internet marketing fields. As knowledgeable SEO experts, they ensure to stay up-to-date with the most recent SEO news and the latest technology trends in the field. By dealing with curated teams of experts, agencies can provide their clients with a better level of service and provide them with innovative solutions to the ever-changing landscape of SEO.
Services that are affordable
In comparison to having an in-house SEO team, white label SEO services are able to offer affordable rates. It has been shown that agencies that outsource marketing functions to white label SEO specialists can save thousands of pounds in operational costs as a result. In addition to the price benefit, this benefit also translates into better prices for clients, which further increases an agency's competitive edge in the market.
In conclusion, white label graphic design services are indispensable to the success of any marketing agency in today's competitive terrain. In addition to providing an agency with a diverse range of services, outsourcing these services can allow for greater efficiency and innovation, while ensuring that project management and costs are kept low for clients. By embracing the benefits of white label SEO services, an agency can enhance their ability to serve their clients and stay ahead of the competition by improving their client service and strategizing.
Take your business to the next level with White Label SEO Services today!
Be sure that your business is not falling behind the competition by not taking action. It is our goal at White Label SEO Services to offer you a wide range of top-notch solutions that can help take your business to the next level by providing high-performing services. Whether you need help with white label graphic design, digital marketing, or IT support, our team of experts is here to give you the support you need to succeed. Parliament opens for a new four-year term on Thursday, and the media is covering the comings and goings, while also welcoming newcomers to the legislature.
In one story Ilta-Sanomat asks (siirryt toiseen palveluun) two first-term MPs what they make of the pay and perks on offer in their new job. Pinja Perholehto (SDP) and Joakim Vigelius (Finns) were both a little surprised at the taxpayer's generosity.
They both criticised the decision to raise MPs' pay at the start of this parliamentary term from 6,614 euros to 7,137 euros. That's for those who have served less than twelve years — longer-serving legislators will get 7,494 euros a month.
Perholehto waited tables before she was elected to parliament, and says she's become used to an income of less than 2,000 euros. As such she thinks this raise was unnecessary. Vigelius too says that parliament would still find people to serve even with a smaller compensation.
Expenses are another issue. Each month MPs get between 986.81 euros and 1809.15 euros, depending on the location of their official residence, and the money is tax-free.
Perholehto finds that a little strange, especially for MPs who live close to Helsinki. In addition MPs have broad rights to compensation for transport used, and get travel cards for use in the Helsinki region.
Finns Party x National Coalition
Iltalehti looks ahead (siirryt toiseen palveluun) to the formation of the next government, which is the biggest task for National Coalition leader Petteri Orpo right now.
The paper claims that the NCP's first preference is for a right-wing government in coalition with the Finns Party, the Christian Democrats and the Swedish People's Party (SPP).
That would give the government a slim majority, with just 109 seats in the 200-member parliament. As that includes the non-voting Speaker of Parliament, there is little room for manoeuvre.
The parties have different views on work-based immigration, with the Finns Party strongly opposed and the NCP and SPP both looking to increase numbers.
European policy is another issue that could derail talks, with the NCP and SPP strongly pro-EU and the Finns Party looking to leave the union in the long run.
IL says that the alternative is a Blue-red government including the NCP, the SDP, the Greens and the Swedish People's Party, but that there has been little contact with the Social Democrats to explore that option.
Finnair's Bulgarian customer service
Helsingin Sanomat reports (siirryt toiseen palveluun) on Finnair's cost-cutting drive, which has seen their online chat services concentrated at a service centre in Bulgaria.
None of the staff there speak Finnish, and they rely entirely on machine translation. The service has been based at the Bulgarian service point since January, and Finnair says there have been a few translation mistakes but overall they are satisfied with the service.
The company points out that they still offer Finnish-language assistance by phone, although neither Finnair nor HS note the cost of actually calling the company compared to using an online chat service.
The company believes that artificial intelligence will rapidly improve the service, and reduce the number of mistranslations.
