#outside of Kane literally no one on Leverage is average height for their gender

so I am 100% down with everyone on how ridiculously funny it is that Eliot is so much shorter than Hardison and Nate, but that said:
Christian Kane is 5′9″, i.e. average American male height. He’s not short at all! It’s just that every other main male character on Leverage is tall in comparison, because, you know, actors. (Aldis Hodge and Noah Wyle are both 6′1″.) Gina Bellman and Beth Riesgraf are also shorter than him! But given that both Parker and Sophie frequently wear shoes that give them a couple of inches, I suspect it makes them seem taller.
So while I am always up for Hardison delighting in being half a foot taller than his bf, may I also suggest:
Eliot smirking at him because Hardison keeps banging his head on things. (Especially in countries with low height averages.)
Hardison is regularly asked to get things off the high shelves, both by his crew and by random strangers. He likes being able to put things out of reach, but Parker and Eliot will yell for him anytime they’re trying to get something he put up, no matter what he’s doing. Many a gaming session has been interrupted by an extremely persistent partner. (His online friends do enjoy listening to the commotion, though.)
They’re restricted to economy class on airplanes for whatever reason, and he’s got his legs scrunched up while the other two are at least semi-comfortable.
Parker (and even Eliot) hide behind him all the time. (They also enjoy using him for shade on sunny days.)
Parker and Eliot specifically hang decorations where they can walk under them unhindered, but Hardison gets a faceful of streamers/tinsel/balloons/Christmas lights/mistletoe/what-have-you.
Too-short blankets. Too-short beds. They’re frequently in hotels, which are not made for taller people.
Hiding when a con’s been blown is significantly harder. This is both nice, because when there’s limited hiding spots he usually gets the roomier one, but also a big problem when there aren’t spacious hiding spots. It either means having a very sore neck/back/leg/e.t.c.... or listening to Eliot complain about having to take down a bunch of thugs because Hardison couldn’t sufficiently hide from them.
And, of course, one of the reasons why Hardison can’t stand vents is because he’s simply too tall for them. Eliot has a field day watching him struggle during vent training. (Though of course this means Hardison only laughs harder when Eliot finds himself squished in them, because hey, now you know what it feels like!)
