Sorry for my absence...

/I started working as an English teacher and the job takes quite a lot of my time. I am in the school from 8AM ‘till 6PM and when I get home I have a lot of housework to do. I rarely have time to check anything on the web and I feel so tired lately. I will try to log on and roleplay, but I can’t guarantee how often I will be here. I don’t want to go hiatus, but maybe in the end I will have to. Sorry for the threads I have not answered! ;_;

I will be online for about an hour tonight. I have to unpack and do laundry, so it may not be until 9pm pst, but I will be around. I am going to clean through my drafts a bit, but if there are plot contingent drafts (looking at you neko-shadow!) I will be keeping them of course.

the main focus of that post about the Team Magma Admin is that she has similarities to the 'criteria' of someone who has Asperger's, not that she's the poster child of it and a totally flawless example. The 'brilliant mind' isn't the only similarity, she's also shown to be one-track-minded and maybe a little spacey, with poor communication skills. I don't mean to paint your argument nor the OP's in a negative or positive light, I'm just throwing in my two cents, sorry.

I do realize this, and do not disagree with the actual diagnosis, (I’m not into Pokemon), but the point is, most Aspies have average IQs, and brilliant minds and average IQs are, well, average in both populations. It’s hardly a symptom. If she’s not a person with mental disabilities, she’s qualified, but there are a bazillion people like her in that regard in the neurotypical population. As many, if not more.

My emotional reaction was uncalled for. As an Aspie with a high-average IQ, I get really insecure about myself, like something is wrong with me and I don’t belong to either group. You’re fine, I just am tired of, “X is weird and intelligent, Aspie” claims.

This is made by Aspies as well, of course, which I realize. Everyone wants someone to represent them, but I want representatives that lower the bar for me. I wish there were less intelligent Aspies out there. (Like Cynthia from FE:A!)

And of course, Aspies are people on a spectrum and poster children are rare. There’s nothing wrong with that.

🍐 - How many ships have you considered but rejected for your muse?

🤔 Hmmmm… there aren’t many ships I’ve thought of for Link in general, really. Even ZeLink is very meh in all their eyes. Time sees Zelda as the princess and a fond friend. Twilight only knows her by association and has very little connection to her. Sky sees her as a close friend. Wild sees her as a distant friend. 

The only ZeLink pairing that has ever really Worked™ for me is Tetra and Toon. 

Past Zelda? Link has no real pairings. No Wild and Sidon– Mipha maybe. 

🍊 - What are your favourite genres of threads? Fluff? Angst? Etc

For Link, action and slice-of-life roleplays as it lets me explore him as a character and his environment. But he also gets to set off on new adventures and face new adversaries.

🍌 - What drew you into the fandom in the first place?

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is my number two all time favorite game. Ocarina of Time was the very first video game I ever played and beat. I grew up alongside the games and had a special connection to Link. It was like I aged with him as I played the games and he gets older as the games progress (generally). 

I was originally in the Kingdom Hearts fandom for roleplay and thought I’d try my hand at interpreting Link my own way, so I made a blog for him.

Sorry for the random disappearence, but work and Aniventure kept me busy. Me and bae participated in the cosplay contest as Indra and Ashura Otsutsuki and it was just awesome! <3 I had a lovely weekend. I will respond to everyone from tomorrow on x3

Mini Hiatus

{U g h I hate that I have to do this, but right now I need to just take a baby step back and focus on me. Work is really hectic and coming home and feeling like I ‘have to ‘ do things is not the mentality I should have.

I miss you all lots and love you all so so much.. If you want my skype or my kik, please message me! I hope to be back in a few weeks- maybe less time-, but right now I just need a bit of me time.
