i've been uuuh struggling lately. with like, life, yeah, but more importantly, with wanting to come back to writing. so after having some health nonsense going on and then having to have a whooooole siddown to have myself a right good think over the last couple days, weeeeell.

it's gonna be happenin'.

the good news is that all my currently active muses---xigbar, kuja, and kimbley---will all have a new home there, plus some others i've been wanting to write but just haven't but now i can bc i do what i want. the bad news is that it's gonna be a work in progress for a bit. i have some irl things that need doing but i am also going to focus on reducing my stress bc i'm a dumbass and legiterally create stress from nothing and i need to teach myself to like. yknow. not do that.

Ok so, I know this is my Octoling/Splatoon blog and not my warframe blog but I gotta fucking post this.

I wanna talk about this response to my problem ticket.

So over the span of three months, I’ve been having issues with my game freezing upon leaving the arsenal, or FPS dropping extremely low when it unlocks and walking near my arsenal.

A very, VERY few other players had been experiencing this, but nothing as bad as I was.

I’m talking every. Single. Day. I’d have to restart my game multiple times in a single day in order to change frames or play, and dread when I would have to change my Warframes. I hated the arsenal.

Very stressed and distraught, I opened a ticket. I remained polite, and received multiple responses. Reset internet, change some settings on my PS4 etc etc. nothing worked.

So, since the UI cursor/Sanctuary Onslaught update for consoles a few weeks ago, I’ve had no arsenal issues. Hurray, it’s fixed!

Or so I thought.

I used my arsenal like usual, then it happened: the dreaded freeze. It unstuck this time, and I walked down to the back of my orbiter and saw my void doppelgänger.

So I got a crazy theory- what if every time my doppelgänger showed up (which usually is A LOT), it froze my game? I posted this to my problem ticket (calling myself crazy), and this was the response.

I know this is long winded, and I know I get upset with DE some times, but I cannot think of another company that would go through hell and back for ONE SINGLE PLAYER with a problem barely any others have. I can’t think of another company that would be so patient with a single person and try to figure out what was going on.

What’s more, is that they listened to my half joking half serious suggestion and it helped. And as a plus, they compensated me for a glitch. I didn’t expect it, nor did I want compensation aside from a possible fix to the problem. This was a pleasant shock.

I guess after this long winded post, I have to say thank you so, so much DE and your team for hearing even one person out, and doing your damndest to make them happy. For trying everything you can to fix something for one person.

Though it’s nice to have a job there is a chance with the cases soaring in South Carolina that I will be jobless again, sooner than one would think. I am glad I have my affairs paid for way ahead of time or this would be some shit. There is that and I am not very good at this kind of job even though I am doing my very best but, the owner started me off on the harder stuff first and then got irritated when I did it wrong. I have no idea how. ||
