kang jaewon, borned on some random day in august 1724, is a 11th gen ravnos vampire, embraced at the age of 26 in 1750. he was a delinquient during the joseon dynasty, well, part of the social banditry. him and his group lived in the country side, targetting the welathy or corrupt officials. due to their resistance against the system that left them with few opportunities thanks to the economic hardships, jaewon and his group were seen as sybmolic figures of resistance. which lead to promises of a similar lifestyle forever, fighting against the oppression. boy was too quick to agree to this promise, but boy did he not think of the consequences of his own actions.

him and quite the chunk of his group got embraced by a ravnos sire. some of them were quick to accustom and continue on with their rebelious acts until the end of the joseon dynasty.

others, like jaewon, struggled with the new found situation they were in and hid in the shadows for years to come.

it took him a good chunk to get accustomed to whatever being a vampire was, but eventually in the late 1800s he got released from his sire and rejoined a some of his old group of outlaws.

he continued doing that until the end of the joseon dynasty, and eventually moves to the anarch movement because that was literally the next best thing. how was he supposed to stop doing the only thinge he knew?

in 1999 he went through a little existential crisis due to the antediluvian ancestor awakening and slaughtering most of his clan. so he was not having a good time for the next following years. literally tried to hide away but he was already apointed warden of zone 3 so he really couldn't.

dude was literally tweaking with how closely he kept trying to knock on deaths door. he is doing ever so slightly better but he could use a therapist

tldr;

anyway, enjoy some chaos in your life! jaewon literally refuses to let the bad things in 1999 and onwards stop him from being true to what ravnos have always been so he is a bit on the weird side about it if you look at the rest of his clan. he is surprisingly smart and a quick thinker due to being a rebel for so long. he still speaks before he thinks, but that is exactly why he isn't a baron but a warden. someone has to throw hands and bump heads. dude loves lurking as much as he loves throwing hands, so the shadows are literally his best friend. he is also a bit too nosy, but its for the greater good he promises! on most days he really is chatty and smiley and loud and proud, because again, he refuses to wallow in self pity. on most days.

others from his little bandit group that joined got embraced at the same time. they could have stuck together, lost connection and relinked further down the line. negative, positive, neutral give me all of them!

partner in crime, he needs one or two really, could be linked to the idea above or someone he met along the way. would be best if it was another warden or a baron, even a sweeper

someone that helped him get back on his feet when the ravnos started getting slaughtered. a very good buddy of his that checks up on him regularly, makes sure he hasn't actually kicked the bucket

a dare-devil buddy! doesn't have to be ravnos, so anyone would be fine someone he is contantly butting into their business, not because he actaully needs anything, but just because it annoys them

anarchs! all the anarches, he joined almost as soon as they were formed after the joseon dynasty ended and has been with them since then. he tries and recruits people on the regular

someone he bumps heads with a lot, would be fun if they were in the court? anyone he doesn't see eye to eye with, which would probably quite a few vampires

someone try and make him their information broker? a cat and mouse game? you always seem to know where he is, but never why and what he's actually doing, jaewon is always within an arms length but one step ahead

The Outlaw Championship: The Story Of The FTW Championship

In honor of ECW Legend, ‘ The Human Suplex Machine ’, Tazz’s birthday today , I wanted to take some time and write this article about the FTW Championship. This article explains what the championship really is and how it was used before it was retired this year .

The FTW ( Fuck The World ) Championship was created by Tazz in 1998 , to be used as a part of storylines in Extreme Championship Wrestling. However, it was used as a championship in order to drop storylines that involved wrestlers who were out of action due to an injury . The FTW Championship was used when Tazz and Al Snow missed Wrestlepalooza 1998. Nevertheless, it was also used when Shane Douglas, the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, was out of action due to suffering an elbow injury and battling a severe sinus infection. The championship was also used as a hardcore championship with “ FTW Rules ”. This means that there are no disqualifications, and no count outs. Weapons could also be used during a match with those rules .

The FTW Championship was also known as the Brooklyn Championship and was introduced by Tazz at ECW’s ‘ It Ain’t Seinfeld ’ show on May 14,1998. As a part of the storyline , Tazz was angry due to not being able to have a match with Shane Douglas for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Douglas refused to face Tazz. Thus, he was sidelined due to an injury . Tazz declared himself the ‘ real ’ ECW World Heavyweight Championship before unveiling the FTW Championship to defend. He would say that the ECW fans would love the message he sent with the championship. The message was meant for society. Therefore , Tazz believed that the FTW Championship was more important than the actual ECW World Heavyweight Championship. It was considered ‘ illegitimate’ by ECW Management.

Tazz only lost the championship one time one December 19,1998. He lost it in singles competition against Sabu. Tazz felt that he would defeat Shane Douglas in a future ECW World Heavyweight Championship match , therefore , he felt that he no longer needed to be FTW Champion. He would become the FTW Champion again at the Living Dangerously Pay Per View in 1999. He would unify the FTW and ECW World Heavyweight Championships after defeating Sabu in a Title Vs Title Match. The FTW Championship was retired the same year as he began defending the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. The FTW Championship would not be included in the assets of ECW that were sold to WWE in 2001 as it is personal property of Tazz, who owns the rights to it.

The FTW Championship was be revived in All Elite Wrestling in 2020 with Tazz rewarding it to Brian Cage, the wrestler he was a manager for. This would happen due to Cage not being able to face AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley , who had to quarantine due to his wife , Renee, testing positive for COVID. Tazz would also start providing commentary after being signed to AEW . As it was in ECW, it wasn’t considered a ‘ legitimate’ championship by Tony Khan and AEW management. Other FTW Champions in AEW include Ricky Starks , Jack Perry, and Tazz’s son , Hook. Chris Jericho would become FTW Champion after beating Hook at AEW Dynasty and rename the championship, the ‘ For The World ’ Championship, as a part of his Learning Tree gimmick.

Hook would win the championship his father created back from Jericho and the original meaning behind the championship would be reinstated . Hook retired the FTW Championship on September 25,2024 at AEW Grand Slam after defeating Roderick Strong. He would embrace his father with a hug after winning the match and return the championship, where it would be retired .

My Final Thoughts:

I think that the FTW Championship is a huge staple in the history of pro wrestling. It showed that you didn’t need a company championship to be a champion. Tazz will forever be a legend just for creating this championship. I am also happy knowing that a new generation of fans got to know what the title is due to AEW . So, happy birthday, Tazz!

What would the world of your WIP look like in a hundred years?

This is a very interesting, and complicated question.

Let me explain:

The continent of Agrannor has been torn by multiple wars and conflicts for the past few centuries, especially the Agrannorian civil war which was especially damaging (I mean, the Kingdom of Eldon was literally destroyed by the end of it, there was nothing left when the war ended) and the persecution magical folk have faced ever since the rise of the Morosyn Dynasty has also caused serious consequences. The Continent's development - though the kingdoms still thrive in most places - has slowed down considerably, and that is only bound to get worse with the approach of the War of Prophecy in the current events of the story.

This means that, by the time the current story of The Last Wrath ends, most kingdoms (be it Imperial, Free Realmer, or Borderlands) have some serious rebuilding and reestablishing to do, before development and technological growth can even begin to take place.

This is important to know, because such a halt on the continent's development and the aftermath of such brutal wars, means that at least the first half of those 100 years will be spent recovering and rebuilding what was lost, as well as changing unhealthy prejudices and helping those who were once hunted down find a place to safely restart their lives. That is a lot of work, even with the kingdom's efforts combined with the new magical and tech discoveries. Some semblance of technological development should start to be noticeable by the middle and the second half of the coming century.

And that's where the answer to your Ask comes in!

After the continent is done rebuilding, the kingdoms would likely use the magical and technological advancements learned during and after the War of Prophecy, and use it to make their lands thrive. Better housing, more advanced road systems, and expansion of trade relations with new kingdoms and even other continents (which the growth of dragon rider academies - who can fly long distances - and also the creation of better, faster sailing techniques, with the Storm Isles making an alliance with the continent once again)

SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT ✨

Some key political changes also happened during those years, especially in the aftermath of the War of Prophecy, after which the Morosyn Dynasty fell and their lands became once again the Seraphian Empire, with the lost heir of the First Empress being crowned as ruler, and the re-establishment of a friendly relationship between the Imperial lands and the Free Realms, with the Empire stopping its efforts of conquest and the crooked ways of the Temple of Radiance being outlawed for good (a temple should be a place of peace and diplomacy and not a horrifying monstrosity that hunts innocents for their magical blood).

The Hidden Cities of the Elves began to thrive once again, no longer having to live isolated from the world, and trust between human and elven rulers slowly began to rebuild. More importantly, with the end corruption of the ancient magic sources, the elves no longer found themselves ill or cursed by the effects of forbidden magic and were able to live their long lifespans to the fullest once again.

The lost enclaves, where the last Faeborn that managed to survive the Hunts lived, reappeared for the first time in almost 30 years, with the support of the kingdoms to be free to return to their ancient territory. The Faes then shared much of their magical knowledge with a few selected human and elven individuals, who went forth to use said knowledge to try and improve the lives of everyone in the lands.

As for the Free Realms, much of their current structure and political systems remained the same. The kingdoms remained independent and free to thrive as they pleased, without the threat of Imperial Occupation. The Free Realmer lands conquered during the Agrannorian Civil War and the War of Prophecy were restored to their rightful kingdoms, and given independence by the Seraphian Empire. When it came to important decisions and diplomatic solutions, the rulers were once more united in the Primordial Council (which gathered every five years or whenever should it be summmoned, to discuss important matters), which had fallen millennia ago during the Ancient Wars and was reinstated after the end of the War of Prophecy, a century ago, by request of Queen Ellinor and the Dawn Knight. This was meant so that a conflict of such magnitude could be avoided in the coming future.

Due to all of this, a growth in the presence of magically talented populations grew, now that their lives were no longer in danger. Many more people became interested in learning arcane magical arts, and the old sorcerer orders and academies were reopened (both in the Empire and the Free Realms) to train those interested in following a sorcerer path.

Of course, not all was beautiful, nor fun, and games, and the kingdoms still suffered through many minor conflicts and harsh times to get where they would be 100 years later.

(Since the world of Agrannor was heavily inspired by some aspects of IRL late Ancient Times and early Medieval Times - and considering the halt in the fictional continent's development mentioned earlier - in 100 years, it would likely be very medieval-coded but more developed)

"Everything Happens for A Reason" My take on what is going on and what this has always gone on!

This is my crazy or not so crazy take on what’s going and what has gone on for time and it's the most logical explanation that works for me.

We are having a Polar shift; hence the earth is getting hotter, no climate change as we know it, this is a natural occurrence where the Earth’s Magnetic field weakens, sometimes completely flips. This in turns means Earth and everything on it is subject to harmful Cosmic Rays, hence why radiation medicine is being developed, energy weapons, Atlantis type monopolises are being built in Saudi and China, Psychedelic’s are being synthetically altered to help people cope with the coming changes. I will be adding to the listed categories to back up and look deeper into each concept. I ask myself why and where did this epiphany come from so much that I feel a sense of exploring and sharing my views.

The famous Triangle, a triangle of three - Elon Musk (Alien)Space X. Elon and the non vaxed are off to hang out in the Atmosphere, like Noah, he takes all living organisms and genetic coding of h all the creatures that we need to balance the ecosystem, drip feeding it but by bit to Earth when it is safe to inhabit again, he is the alien “god”, or really a former citizen of the previous Polar Shits…… stay with me!

The Bloomsburg bunch, our friends and nemesis’, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos & Mark Zukerberg, are off to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where #NEOM, Saudi's Super Town project is being constructed. This has a time scale to be completed by 2039 ( wow I’ll be 60 years young then). Why in the desert? Well because Sand has properties that can protect from Cosmic radiation. Ol’ Bill Gates bailed out Alwaleed, a Saudi Arabian billionaire businessman, investor, philanthropist and Royal from being a prisoner of the state and now is basically Gates' monkey. This is of course an in route for the Psychopaths to build a 75-mile-long mirror-encased Line skyscraper, with a cost of $1 TRILLON DOLLAR. This futuristic city with tropical rainforest and an abundance of luxuries is designed to see this community see out the cosmic storms and until we have a fully protective magnetic field again.

Let’s not forget the Chineses /Mongolians ( maybe Russians and Trump) and the modern Ming Dynasty, they will settle in the “ghost” cities in China, these construction were built for a purpose, with American money?? Well that doesn't make sense!

This is all about survival of the fittest, the Higher Archy it has been their legacy, to live in such a" bubble" in their cities of Atlantis, with the Outlaws AKA you and me, destroying each other as resources run out and desperation to survive takes over…human instinct, animal instinct, each and every living organism’s instinct!!!

Every part of the East /West / Alien triangle are storing food, medicine, salt, water, fuels etc, so each entity can survive the cosmic radiation for 300-1000 years until the protective magnetic force across the world restores.

However, good old Elon and the Space X (are from the future) are they are the time travellers? This sequence hasn’t happened once in time, it's in and been a continuous cycle hence why knowledge isn’t lost and energy never dies. We dream in the past and the future, babies dream how come? This is all extending from a week of time I had alone to truly think and tap into what is the point in life and what is actually going on?

The great Pyramids, I believe, were used as a protective hang out when the ancient civilisations had to see out the Polar Shift back then. The Mayans elite of that time, but Space X has always been, as they will always be one stage ahead and I don't know about quantum Physics but this element is along those lines, and I will be looking into this brain expanding concept and gain a better understanding and write about this, I don’t even feel mad, just yet.

This brings me onto Weather Control. This need to control weather is because of everyone having to live in a contained environment to see out the 300-1000 years of lock down. Weather is needed and although it’s developed by the ‘Elites for their Utopias ’  it will be one of the only things that will benefit the Cave men who have burrowed into the depths of Caves ..

Wind is needed - Sandstorms, did you know sand can protect from cosmic rays! It will keep the air moving in the coming volatile climate. Rain of course because water would run out and also to dampen down the radioactive dust in the atmosphere.

Keeping the cycle going, genetic coding and primal instincts, once we die we die, but every cell that is reproduced from us, our parents, children for generation is our real identity and binary code so that’s why it will always be what it will always be, if that makes Sense and whatever we go through is leading us to the next cycle for infinity.

I haven’t got a clue if this is anywhere near how it is, but this makes sense to me, and that is healing in itself. I don’t feel any animosity in my life as it really is all so insignificant in the great circle of life and that’s the only thing that is round. We are all just trying to survive, and everything does happen for a reason ...we may not have been here as physical beings before but us like our muscle memory that lives in cells so does brain and emotional and characteristic genetic memory. I’m quite excited to see if we get to live like outlaws Mad Max style or it’s a big load of bollocks but by the goose bumps that resonated from drawing a conclusion then I’d love to think I have a grasp of the bigger picture.

Worldbuilding Thread: Ordt, the Wolflord

Ordt started life as a simple Clan Member, one fo thousands of the nomadic people travelling the Empires Heartlands. He would however end it as potentialy the most powerfull man in the Realm. Becoming a simple mercenary after being cast out from his tribe, he would first meet the man that should form his destiny as just another refugee travelling along his small caravan he was tasked to protect. SImon Belfare, the future founder of the Belfare Dynasty was at this point little more then a begger, robbed of all the power he once posessed. Still, the Wolf y developed a strong sense of loyalty towards this seemingly broken human man and with his rise to power during the Belfare Rebellion he quickly turned into his rigth hand man and second in command. After the War and after Simon Belfare would leave the Empire behind for a unknown destination it would fall unto Ordt to protect what was created, taking the mantle of first High General and Overall Military Commander of the Realm. Still, his friends disappearance would gnaw at him and slowly fester into resent, feeling left behind in a realm that was less then stable and having lost the one man he believed he could trust. Still he stayed faithfull to his old friend, becoming increasingly the sole figure of blame with anything wrong in the newborn realm. Not that Ordt would care. Or at least wanted to admitt he did. Uncovering a Plot by the Imperial Senate to seize sole power away from Simons heirs and it being undermined by the Mages of the Skarith as well as imperial nobility, slowly turning it into a pure Aristocracy that was little less then vassals to outside influence , was the last straw however. Gathering his men the Wolflord, the simple Mercenary turned de facot king, turned against the Senate, ending the 20 year period of imperial democracy with the sword before laying it down for the last time to face judgement for his deeds. They aren't always consecutive or on large scales, but Daybound/Disturb, Powerstones, and Phyrexian mana were very much attempts to do this across paired sets, while Compleated and Adventure took mechanics focused on one plane and splashed them into others. Even if you ignore Cycling, that hits everything except New Capenna and Thunder Junction.

Which isn't to say there isn't room for more, but it does show that there's ongoing effort to find places to do this.

Maybe blocks might be much, but would it be possible to have at least a bit more mechanical identity through the year? For example, discover being used in LCI and MKM, or disguising being in both MKM and OTJ. As it is now, most new mechanics in premiere sets rarely see reuse in the same standard, if at all.

Finding workable overlaps is tricky, but I’m happy to try it if I find a good example.

OUTLAWS OF THE LOST DYNASTY: Also known as Suiko Enbu, Data East’s weapon fighting game based from one of China’s quintessential novels, Water Margin. While the game can be reminiscent of the first Samurai Shodown with no super moves, each character’s weapon works as the guard gauge, or as a one-time death-or-glory attack. While disarmed, a fighter gets limited to his bare-handed specials and his defensive strength also goes down. The game adapts Chao Gai (a benevolent character in the novel) as the final boss in a villainous light, much like SamSho adapted Shiro Amakusa into a magic-corrupted sorcerer.

RABBIT: EA/Aorn’s fighting game pits eight characters with various skills and powers with the animal signs of the Chinese Zodiac. So I saw you tagged ‘westros is not realstic’ I was wondering if you were planning on doing a routine series on the things you’ve spotted were unreasltic? Or if not, could you share some more.

I can list a few.

The same dynasties ruling for thousands of years. (Actual records of the Japanese imperial family only go back 1500 years and one of the reasons for that is they’re mostly spiritual figureheads. Also makes the Targaryens look like amateurs.)

The Old Gods lacking clergy as well as scripture.

The lack of religious schisms, syncretism, and intolerance. (Even today, Catholics don’t get along with Protestants and they’re closer to each other than the Old Gods are to the Seven.)

The disdain for religion displayed by much of the nobility. (Speaking of which, why do people constantly talk about the “seven hells” but never the “seven heavens”?)

People fighting over the Disputed Lands despite it being a wasteland.

High Valyrian is splitting into multiple languages yet the same thing didn’t happen to the Old Tongue, the Common Tongue, or the Rhoynish Tongue.

The First Men, Andals, and Rhoynar should have split into multiple different people by now.

Prima nocta was never a thing.

The number of people getting married below the age of 15/16.

The lack of saints, pilgrimages, holy relics, prophets, missionaries, or angels in the Faith. (In fact, the only time the word “angel” comes up in ASOIAF is when the Kindly Man is explaining the beliefs of the Faceless Men in one of Arya’s AFFC chapters.)

Trial by combat hasn’t been outlawed.

The lack of any independent justice system in the form of judges, reeves, sheriffs, etc.

There is no College of Arms keeping track of everyone’s heraldry yet somehow it is a crime to bear the arms of someone else.

The Citadel being the only university in Westeros. Seriously, all it takes is one really bad fire, earthquake, tsunami, or sacking and a continent’s worth of knowledge is lost forever.

Westeros has only five cities. The Riverlands are given an explanation but what about the Stormlands and Dorne? Why is Gulltown the smallest of them despite being on the right side of the continent? Why weren’t Bitterbridge, Tumbleton, Kayce, Barrowton, etc. given city charters?

As far as I know, the bedding ceremony in RL didn’t involve stripping the bride and groom of all their clothes, nor did it involve actually feeling them up.

The Valyrians are OP. Honestly, in a realistic world with freely available magic one race shouldn’t be able to just steamroll everyone and establish a monopoly. As I’ve said before, why didn’t the Ghiscari come up with fire-resistant skin ointment or poison that could melt through scales they could then coat their weapons in?

More women die in childbirth despite the Citadel’s superior knowledge of medicine and surgery.

The lack of astrological predictions.

Everyone uses the same military doctrine with the exception of the Ironborn and the Dornish.

The ships are from multiple different eras.

The lack of knightly orders before the Conquest outside the Order of the Green Hand.

The lack of cadet branches.

Most of the post-Conquest conflicts lasting at most two years.

The lack of sieges as well as the fact there are more battles than sieges.

There is no regional variation in terms of titles or succession. (In the real world you would NEVER use the same title for an Arryn and a Baelish.)

Everything is too big. (You can’t feed a city as big as King’s Landing with food imported overland from the Reach. Wildling arrows should not be able to hit men standing on top of a wall seven hundred feet tall.)

The fact House Lannister isn’t a major sea power when A) Lannisport relies on long-distance trade, B) The Ironborn are right next door, and C) They’re rich enough that if Smaug fell through a wormhole he’d make a beeline for Casterly Rock as soon as he heard of it.
