This was the most exciting time for me. Visiting here was both eye opening and a great time to horn my skills. I want to go back and enjoy time here soon. ======================================= #karijini #karijiniexperience #forstequegorge #vacationtime #holidaytime #outback #outbackexperience #pilbaracolours #pilbaralife #nisifilters #nd1000 150x150mmglass ======================================= (at Karijini National Park)

Hello! Having a fab time in Australia. We're about to get our flight to Alice Springs and tomorrow brings (not only an incredibly early start) 3 days of the outback with Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon and the Olgas. Make sure you check my travel blog and Flickr page for more! www.outbackexperience.tumblr.com

In Perth! The final flight was okay, little more cramped and I did have a domestic and a crying child behind me, which limited sleep a little. This can all be forgiven as the weather is glorious here (it's an "alright winters day" according to Kelly) at 20c, blue skies and no wind :)

Hello from Dubai!
7 hour flight was bearable - finally got to see The Hobbit and Les Mis (loved the first, not too bothered by the latter). Nice aeroplane food and leg room a plenty for us leggy types. Plus a pillow and blanket which was nice. Now in the incredible Dubai airport (have already walked into a room full of showers thinking it would just be the ladies) and am gawping at the cheap prices they have in duty free. Next the 11 hour 'hop' to Perth. Might get bored on this one... Or we might watch the Toy Story trilogy...

The time has finally come. In just a few hours we'll wave our goodbyes and get on board a plane to Perth, Australia.
The only way to describe how I'm currently feeling is to compare it to how I feel before stepping out onto a stage; bricking it as your mind races through "what have I forgotten?" and "am I really prepared?" And yet there's that bubbling sense of excitement; the risk of it all, the newness and the unknown.
The bag's packed (with room for trinkets), the tickets printed and the Kindle well stocked. Let's have ourselves an adventure...

So this is it...
I'm flying out to Australia today. Excited but also nervous...
I can't promise that this page will be well kept, so please follow The Outback Experience to keep up with me. And maybe, don't unfollow this blog just because it's less active? Ta.
Love you all, you beautiful, beautiful people xx

I take it back, the link on my page is now connecting to my other, separate travel blog (free from rants and sexual content...)

I'm having major issues adding this as a redirection page (like I've managed to do with my flickr etc), but I've just set up what will be my travel blog. It's for friends and family (so there will be no link back to this page from it) however the rest of you lovlies are welcome to follow if you're interested. Obviously nothing will happen till the 19th when we fly to Perth haha.
